I liked that it was within walking distance to the majestic theater. Loved the ocean colors in the hotel and rooms. Customer service was great. Cafe was great - especially if you get the food coupon. There were a few hiccups when I first checked in, but the general manager really helped smooth things over. The rooms are lush and colorful and the food is great. I will be staying here again!

We stayed at the Hotel Indigo for our wedding night. We arrived late and were bummed that the bar had already closed for the night. The room was impeccable and very trendy. We had a great stay.

The first thing I noticed was how helpful and friendly the staff was. I was a pleasure speaking with them. The hotel is perfectly located in Downtown Dallas. The hotel serves it's purpose with a great location downtown. Apparently, it was originally built in 1925 and the rooms are rather tight, at least the bathroom area is. It's cute, but there is no luxury in this place and there is nothing extraordinary about the rooms. The service was just so-so also.

TV did not work at all, room was so small even for just two people.

The hotel room was small but nicely appointed. Unfortunately, noise level was high, so it was difficult to sleep. Staff was very friendly and attentive. Priced a bit high, but overall, satisfied.

I was disappointed in the size of the room. With 2 queen beds I thought it would be bigger. Also, no fridge. I had stayed here before and got a bigger room

Service was great and extremely friendly.. Great location. Walls are a bit thin, heard couple arguing that was at least three door down

We enjoyed our stay at Hotel Indigo-but we did not see much or do much right around the hotel. And there may have been a couple times that my husband got frustrated trying to get around with all the one-way streets downtown, but really a great hotel. We enjoyed the breakfast that we ate in the hotel restaurant, and would stay there again.

Very close to downtown. Pretty much walking distance to everywhere downtown. Don't walk east of the hotel.

Hotel Indigo is a nice hotel. The room temperatures (thermostats) are problematic (both rooms we got were cold and never warmed up) . Standard single bedrooms are small compared to the upgrade single bedrooms with seating areas. No place to really park, except in parking lot across the street ($12.00 a day, but If you leave and come back, you have to […] pay another $12.00). Valet is $20.00 for the day. This hotel is very comfortable and the staff is super friendly. The only downside is that downtown Dallas is not exactly bustling with interesting things to do...Also, you have to pay for parking or valet.

The Hotel Indigo in Dallas offers good value for the money. The building originally housed a Hilton Hotel in the early part of the last century. The room was awesome and great location. We went to the Kidd Rock concert and the hotel took us over. The only complaint I have is that we did not have a blow dryer in our room.

The bed was amazing and the location was great I didn't much like the color scheme or the service.

Our room was clean and acceptable, but the thermostat had an issue. Cold air would blow out and get the temperature to 65, then it would shut off and until the temperature reached 73. Normally 73 is cool, but it felt like 83 due to the summer heat in Texas. Could not get the thermostate to keep a constant temperature.

The staff were incredibly helpful, and the shuttle was extremely useful. Had no idea what to expect in Downtown Dallas, and unfortunately, it was not a walkable city at all, and Downtown is pretty barren of entertainment. Probably fine for busienss traveleres, but it is just too inconvenient for a weekend/pleasure trip. Great hotel, but it could have a garage or parking lot. You have to pay to use the parking lot next door.

This quaint downtown hotel boasts Southern beach charm. Having stayed at another, larger downtown hotel for the rest of our stay, it was a pleasure to spend the last night of our trip at Hotel Indigo. The staff was friendly and helpful and the rooms were gorgeous and comfortable (felt like tiny apartments!). I will definitely spend my entire trip here if I ever find myself in Dallas again.

Given that we were diverted from Miami to Houston and then, spent half the first night in the basement sheltering from Texas tornadoes - what can you say! The staff were excellent, made our stay as safe as possible and the hotel was comfortable. WiFi was good. I would stay there again.

- Online Photos & Reviews are deceiving - People at Front Desk are nice, but the computer systems seemed to not be able to locate multiple guests reservations - They have 3 elevators, when I stayed 1 was working causing 5+ mins to wait for an elevator...had to take service elevator filled with trash..it was nasty. - They don't serve food between 2 pm […] and 5 pm so if you check in then, don't count on getting food from the hotel - I was itching in my bed ALL night...the maids don't clean the rooms well at all...doubt if the sheets were changed or cleaned...saw some weird brown spots on the bathroom floor. - They absolutely refuse to give any extension on late check out most hotels give at least 1 pm...so good luck asking! - Their were cockroaches outside the hotel (doorman told me that they are common & to step on them) - I could NOT be paid here to stay again, worst sleep ever on a business trip!!!! Bed was comfortable with plenty of pillows, close to weekend night happenings, able to walk to nice restaurant for dinner and then a couple of bars for a few drinks!

This is in an old building downtown so the rooms are small, but very cute and the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was tiny as well but had a good shower and plenty of closet space. We didn't eat at the restaurant but plan to try it on our next stay. We came in around midnight and there was an issue with our air conditioning. We called the front […] desk and they said they would send someone up but never did (I'm guessing due to the late hour). It was too warm in the room all night even though the air was blowing off and on. When we contacted management the next day, they were very responsive and professional. We never heard the guests in the adjoining rooms but could hear everything in the hall. That being said, it wasn't like it was New Orleans during Mardi Gras or anything. We were in Dallas to attend a wedding downtown. The hotel was very centrally located and convenient. The room was cozy and the breakfast was delicious.

The Indigo's central location and price can't be beat. The rooms are quite small, but clean and updated. Our AC unit was set to 65 degrees the entire time we were there and it never dropped the temp below 72. Seems like the later it got and the more rooms that were running AC, the less cool air it would put out. I might avoid this hotel during the summer. […] The front desk was all smiles, but seemed a little put out with our questions which might have made sense had they been busy. The entire hotel is very cute. The paint colors and decorations are soothing and friendly. The parking across the street is kind of annoying (with no attendant you need to put cash into a machine) and the breakfast is nothing special. But, the hotel was completely charming.

All of the staff were very friendly and helpful. The restaurant was a little quiet but the service was excellent and the menu and quality of food were better than a lot of hotel restaurants. Beautiful room with really comfy beds. A great deal for the price and it is close to lots of fun places and public transportation.

I picked this hotel because it was convenient located between Music Hall and the downtown resturants. Easy on and off access from Hwy. Wonderful, cheery, bright, not the typicial "hotel" atmosphere. We felt like we were at a beach resort. Really kinda fun! Parking was easy, considering downtown, I was pleasantly surprised! Nice bar/coffee bar.
