More convenient internet service is needed ... going to the Business Office, struggling with acquiring the password ... not conveneint. Better to make the service available with the room, charge a fee if necessary.
nice hotel unfortunatelly i did not received the king size bed that i had asked for. when i registered i was told that they did not have a king size bed. when i complained a lady in charge told me and i quote "you booked your room through a travel agency and we do not guarantee your request" i was offered a smoking king size room, WHICH I DID NOT ACCEPT. […] BESIDES THAT THE HOTEL IS VERY NICE Lisez la suite
"Location"
I expected a little bit more comfort, but it was ok. Bed is delicious no complain on that. Bathroom has a tub and it was very clean, no complains. The room was big, it was like 2 rooms, but part of the hotel made it feel a little bit old. Once in the room you forget about it. Location is perfect for an early flight, literally 5min walking to the check-in […] counters. I had no food, so can't say anything about it. Lisez la suite

"Camino Rea Aeropuerto Mexico."
Very elegant, well appointed room with comfortable beds. A fair price. Service fine. Very convenient to Terminal #1 Only two criticisms: (1) Room very stuffy. Thermostat would not allow more comfortable temperature. (2) ice and H20 available only through room service.
"Terrible view."
The rooms located at the opposite side of the airport have a terrible view of the poberty in the nearby neighborhood
"Convenient to the airport but no sleep here!"
The hotel is connected to the airport via a glass pedestrian bridge, which is great. The majority of the staff was courteous, efficient and friendly. The overall decor was attractive. Unfortunately, the mattresses on both beds in our room were worn out (springs could be felt in one and the other sloped out to the sides) making a decent night's sleep […] impossible. The second problem was the spring-loaded door to the room. It was so tightly set that it was extremely difficult to hold it open. Because of the poor mattresses, and in spite of the convenience of the location, I would look at other hotels near the airport before I would book here again. Lisez la suite

"Good location - Overpriced."
This is a nice hotel to stay for only 1 or 2 nights. The place is clean and friendly staff, but it's way too overpriced. Their restaurants offer good food but you can find the same food at the airport for half the price. Their internet service is the worst I have experienced in any hotel in the planet. They charge way too much per each day, per device, […] so if you have a laptop and smartphone you'll pay 2 bills per day. And the service is horrible. It disconnects frequently. It took me 5 tries and about 10 minutes to sent an email, a simple email with no attachments. Lisez la suite

"Camino Real Aeropuerto Mexico"
i was so surprised that the internet was not for free! there are only two choices, 1 hour and 24 hours! and no bottle of water provided in the room. if you want to drink the water, you also have to pay. the room service can not speak any english.

"Decline of Camino Real chain / MX City & Tijuana"
Recent stay at MX City Airport very disappointing from previous stays - hotel in decline. TV remote did not work, TV station reception is very poor quality and Analog. Add to this wanting nearly $20 for 24 hr wireless internet service and no bath towels or wash cloths. Carpets badly stained and walls need of fresh paint. If all these issues were a 10, […] the high prices at the dining areas would be acceptable. Nice lobby only. Absolutely unacceptable. Better service and amenities at Motel 6 (USA). Have seen the same drop in service and increase in pricing at Camino Real in Tijuana. Will not stay at either again. Lisez la suite
"Bad air in the room"
Got a smoking room with pretty bad ventilation so it didn't smell too good. Had it been a budget place that would have been ok, but not for this price. I'd recommend Ramada Aeropuerto instead, a lot more value for money.
The hotel is adjacent to the airport so it is very nice for early departures, etc...
"shopworn halls, but rooms are nice, and beds great"
perfectly adequate for an in-transit stay!
"Camino Real at the Airport in Mexico, DF"
Love the hotel. We have to stay for one night, for a connection flight. Very convenient.
"Above expectations"
I stayed at this hotel during New Year's only because of the convenience to my airline terminal (Terminal 1) for my Continental Airlines flight to Houston. Compared to other hotels I've stayed in during previous trips to Mexico, the hotel was top notch. The quality and condition of my room was better than expected. The A/C worked perfect, I didn't […] experience any hallway or noise from the adjoining rooms. Only part which I would recommend for improvement was my order of chicken tenders when I ate at the bar lounge. The chicken was bland. Overall, I would wouldn't hesitate to stay at this hotel again, or recommend it to others. Lisez la suite
"Better that I was expected"
Nice hotel, nice costumer service. A little expensive, but it was very convenient to be so close to the airport. Especially taking a flight at 4:30am.
"Camino Real Mexico City airport"
the hotel is still the most convenience hotel for departures from term 1. Problem is a lot of the int'l flights leave from term 2. So before booking find out which term your airline leaves from. The loby of the hotel has been updated. the rooms are still the same as 5 to 8 years ago. the quality is fair and value is ok considering the rate. Make sure […] you are not located in the North tower. this side tower needs a makeover or at least the halls need a refresh... the main tower has the problem with noise traveling up from the lobby. Especially with the life music from the bar. The room doors need new rubber seals so the doors close properly and do not rattle every time someone else leaves their room.... the 3 restaurants are of good quality for Mexico. So the overall answer is location, location, location. Lisez la suite
"Near Airport"
Great place to stay if you have an early flight. The breakfast buffet is outstanding!
An ideal location for an early morning flight out of Mexico City. All the staff was very helpful and the room was beautifully clean and a very comfy bed.Staying here will take all the stress away with no driving in rush hour traffic.
convenient, clean , upscale and quiet. Staff helpful and efficient. What more can you ask for?
"Mexico City airport"
Very convenient hotel if you have a layover or just have to sleep for the night
"better than before"
Stayed here several times before, and the hotel has recently been remodeled. My room was brand new. A perfect place to stay before an early morning flight.
"Not happy with this hotel!"
Pros: New rooms, very clean hotel. Nice rooms. Cons: After having a miscommunication with front desk, I was still overcharged for a long distance call (50 bucks) and they would not help me in any way, even after I emailed the directors of the hotel from their website. Hilton is a bit more but closer to check in and baggage claim for international travelers. […] I will try that hotel in the future. To be fair to the hotel, the rooms are very nice. Restaurant in the lower floor has bright lights and looks like a cafeteria but the food and service was very good. Lisez la suite

"Be sure you get what you paid for"
Nice hotel but the construction by the lobby was noisy and dusty. I had three rooms reserved and paid off when I arrived they said I only had two rooms, good thing I had my confirmation printed out. I entered the names of the people in each room by the time I reserved, but unfortunately they only registered my name and my mom missed a visit because […] her name was not in their computer. The rooms need a little more options for ilumination. We waited one hour to get two coffees in the lobby.... We stayed two nights and the second day none of the room keys worked, we had to go downstairs to reset them, they said it was because they were magnitized which is not true, it is unconfurtable not to have the card ready to open the room when it should be working. The bathtubs in two rooms didn't drain, they fixed the problem but still was inconvenient. Checking out was easy and fast but not too cordial. Note: Carpets on the ailes were poor and had some holes on them. Lisez la suite

"Direct access from Airport to Hotel!"
I stayed in this hotel due the location, there is a pedestrian bridge from airport to Camino Real Hotel, so convenient if you arrive late at night! the breakfast is good and the hotel is modern and clean.
"Camino Real Airport a disaster at the moment"
This hotel is being renovated and the lobby is in a little chaos. The front desk is basically a free for all, no queing. When we arrived we found out there were no non-smoking rooms (possibly an over sight on our part when we booked) It took us several attempts because the construction to find our room. The room was very nice, recently renovated. Definately […] would not stay there again the Ramada which is just across the road is a much better hotel. Lisez la suite
"Camino Real Aeropuerto Mexico"
Great hotel for travelers... clean, comfortable and affordable. Highly recommend it if you are flying into or out of Mexico City!
"El Camino Real at Mexico City Airport"
Great room for an overnight stay. We had a quiet room with a runway view. On arrival after 4pm we had to wait for our non-smoking room, for about 1/2 an hour. (after a long bus ride from another city....) The internet worked well, but was relatively expensive... we had stayed in another hotel of an equal class down in the centre of the city, and had […] the option of free wifi within the large lobby. Two coffees in the bar, which was under construction cost 88 pesos, or about $7.50US. Lisez la suite
"Great location and breakfast!"
Love this hotel, if you are traveling to mexico city, you can land and then just walk inside the airport and there is an exclusive pedestrian bridge that connects the airport with this camino real hotel, you not even cross the street or anything, so safe and secure. Then the hotel is very nice, modern, and the breakfast is delicious!
"my overnight stay at Camino Real"
The hotel is well located across from terminal 1. There is a free shuttle to terminal 2 that had me in the airport with no delay. There was remodeling of the central courtyard going on during my stay in August 2011 but I was in tower 2 so it did not disturb me. The room was well appointed, the bathroom was well appointed with all new fixtures and nice […] marble details. The room was quiet and soundproof. Almost impossible to hear jets landing and taking off at the airport... an unusual situation for an airport hotel! The bed was very comfortable with good quality linens. Most important to me was the chance to have a good night's rest, which I had. The food in the restaurants is good but expensive for Mexico. I will stay in the hotel again on my return trip from Europe and would recommend it to other travelers... but be sure and request a room in Tower 2 and be sure to expect US prices on food and amenities! "Great Locale"
I stayed one night to avoid an 8-hour layover at Benito Juarez International Airport in Mexico City. The hotel is right outside Terminal 1 and a short shuttle ride from Terminal 2. The room was clean and the bed was one of the best I've experienced at a hotel. It's a luxury hotel so you can find less expensive places, but I got lucky with a hotels.com […] sale! If you need to be near the airport in Mexico City, this is a great place! Lisez la suite
"Camino Real Airport"
Convenient hotel if you have a layover. My only comments is that the front desk wanted me to either come down to the front desk or send my credit card with the bell boy if I wanted internet service. The hotel cannot ask this of a guest!!!!!

I arrived in the evening. A dark hallway let to my room. Tried to phone my family but the phone did not work. After an hour of trying the operator informed me that I needed to leave a US 100.- deposit to use the phone. After doing so, returned to the room and discovered, that there was no water in the room. It was delivered 20 min later. No, I would […] not stay at this hotel again, just for the convenience of being in the airport. Taxi fare from the Hotel to Station Norte was double of the cost from the airport taxi stand in Terminal 1. Restaurant was expensive and the food pretty bad. Lisez la suite
"Pleasantly surprised."
Looks a bit shabby from the outside but the rooms are actually nicely renewed. A very short walk across a footbridge from MEX Terminal 1 arrivals. But as others say, unless you're particularly daring, probably best not to leave the airport area, especially not with your bags/valuables. (You won't get shot but in my short walk around, casual robbery […] seemed like a reasonable expectation. Luckily between the airport terminals and the hotel restaurants, you won't starve.) Almost all the staff spoke perfect American English, and were good sports about working through a variety of accents, so no need to worry about language barriers. My only complaint at all is the air conditioning. DF was suffering from an unusual heat wave during my visit (30+ degC) and the a/c just couldn't take it. It was fine at night (even a bit chilly) but from noon to sunset it became unbearable, especially since the windows don't open. (If you're a planespotter/aviation nerd, this is a great place for a taut-less view. The check-in staff was very accommodating in my request for runway views and put me on the top floor of the westernmost end of the south tower, which was just perfect. Clearly they've gotten this request before!) Lisez la suite
