I stayed in a double room with a great kingsize bed, although there was only enough toiletries for a single use. The room service was a complete rip off a Club Sandwich (cheapest thing on the menu) with 'cold' fries was €11.50 with a €6.50 tray charge per person!!! Guest overnight parking was €10 extra. Not a four star experience by any means, room […] was ok but the single shampoo and soap looked mean. Lisez la suite
"herbert park never disappoints"
very nice hotel staff are very helpful and the location is very peacefull yet only minutes from all attractions of dublin by taxi.we have used this hotel on many occasions and have yet to dissappointed.
Lovely location surroundings. A gem in Ballsbridge. This must be our 4 th time staying there
"herbert park dublin"
Very good quality hotel in a very nice location. Overall a very good experience. However lunch buffet at 60euro a head was a bit expensive. We would have eaten there otherwise
"The Smart Alternative"
This hotel offers the discerning visitor a reasonably-priced alternative to the nearby budget standard hotels, or five-star prices of the Four Seasons Hotel, also nearby. The Herbert Park has a classy, boutique feeling and the service and comfort levels match anything offered in larger Dublin hotels. The location is perfect for direct access Dublin […] Airport, Aviva Stadium, RDS Showgrounds or just a stroll around the fashionable suburb of Ballsbridge, in the heart of Dublin's embassy belt. This Hotel is privately-owned and offers a level of personal service not found elsewhere. Perfect for weekend breaks, or business visits, the Herbert Park Hotel has a reputation to protect, and the staff live up to that very high standard. If you prefer personal service and refined comfort over brand-name mediocrity and crowded impersonal facilities, then you must try the Herbert Park Hotel! Lisez la suite
Fabulous hotel, very modern and clean. Situated in beautiful area and very convenient to Aviva stadium and city centre. However, I thought the bed was quite uncomfortable, its fine if you like a hard bed.

"Perfectly adequate"
Hotel is a convenient location for the Aviva Stadium - just a short walk away. Service in the bar area was excellent, food was decent and not bad value for money. Staff were pleasant and no issues with cleanliness. But found it a bit backward in a 4 star hotel to have to pay €10 for 24 hours of wifi access - and then still not be able to connect in […] the rooms (seems you have to be in the lobby!). Ended up going to a cafe across the for free access. Rooms were hot, remember to check the air con before going to bed (we didnt and woke up sweating!), plus we were woken in middle of night by what sounded like dodgy pipes or air con unit above us. Not a great sleep, but probably just got unlucky. On the whole, perfectly fine value for money, apart from the wireless issue. Lisez la suite
Hotel is in a great location food service etc good. The main issue was that having booked a non-smoking room a clear smell of smoke was present in the room when we arrived. On phoning reception were told it was a non smoking room and anyway no others availoable to move to. This was very dissapointing for the standard of hotel. Apart from that would […] reccomend. "pros and cons of the Herbert Park Hotel"
Pros: located next to a beautiful park that is ideal for running, walking, and has playgrounds. Local bus easily accessible to get into the city for sightseeing. Cons: Guests must pay for wi-fi service, even if you bring an Ipad. And, nothing is complimentary, i.e., even a cup of coffee in the morning. No in-room container for boiling water, no tea […] bags, nothing. For the price, these easily could be included! Lisez la suite
"Herbert Park Hotel, Dublin"
Overall this was a nice hotel, but I have a few issues, asked for a double room and we got two single beds, also requested a non smoking room and we received a smoking room, the smell of smoke one of my pet hates! Also the website advertised that it was near Croke Park, but did not find it convenient to Croke Park at all taxi cost 20 euro! Also buffet […] breakfast was cold. Must say staff were very friendly and polite and when we walked through the front door we were very impressed by the overall way the hotel looked. That's why we were so disappointed when the above issues arose. Lisez la suite
"Noisy but good location"
I have stayed here before and the location is great for getting around central dublin. However, we got a twin room with two beds rather than the double bed room we booked. The hotel was very noisy- we were at the end of one corridor and the staff were setting up and cleaning out a function every morning from 6am until 8:30am. It was an unneccessary […] intrusion on our peace and quiet. Lisez la suite

"Herbert Park"
The room lacked some basic facilitites including teletext on the TV and a kettle to make tea. Both things you get in a B&B. The alternative was to book a pot for the room costing or have it downstairs. Basics that any hotel should have.

"Dublin city"
Hotel was fantastic, rooms were spacious and really big double bed. Checkout is 12:00 noon which gives you a very relaxed morning. The hotel is situated in ballsbridge, which is right beside the RDS and very close to city centre.
"Herbert Park Hotel in Dublin"
Nice hotel in excellent location close to very good restuarants,Roly's and Kites in particular. Breakfast Buffet only moderate but price reasonable. No athmosphere in bar and poor selection of draft beers.Used to be a seperate bar off the foyer but this has gone.Would be happy to return.

"Good value but factor in parking"
Stayed here a few times always good and good value - although you do need to factor in 10 euro parking charge. Staff will let you leave car there for the day you are checking out with no extra charge. Overall very satisfied.
"Herbert Park Hotel Ballsbridge Dublin"
Disappointed this 5 Star Hotel has no Tea/Coffee making facilities in the room. A single soap disk was in the bathroom for two people , we had to ask for additional soap. The customer is always wrong in the Bar , we disliked the guinness on arrival Friday evening and offered to pay half as we could not finish the drinks however the Bar supervisor was […] unreasonable and unwilling to see the customers viewpoint. On Saturday night after the rugby when the guinness was being poured regularly the taste was perfect.Otherwise Hotel experience was very good especially at the reception check-in desk 5 out of 5 and we will return. "Herbert Park, Ballsbridge, Dublin 4"
This is a modern hotel - smart, clean and well equipped. It is very close to the Arriva stadium just a short walk away and overlooks the lovely well kept Herbert Park. A short bus ride takes you into the heart of Dublin. Ideally suited to the business traveller, on our weekend rugby fans were also in residence which livened up the bar/lobby area. Plenty […] of choice at breakfast and would definitely recommend the restaurant for a great evening meal as the food was beautifully cooked and presented although the standard of service could have been a little better. My double room was extremely comfortable and it made for a superb nights sleep. I would have appreciated free internet access/wifi as I felt these charges were prohibitive even in the room. As wifi is downstairs I would recommend taking an ethereal lead for connection to the modem in the room. Lisez la suite

"Breakfast an issue."
My wife and I booked in on Sunday to stay one night. Everyting was great. Hotel is in the lovely neighbourhood of Ballsbridge. Great restaurants nearby. Food in hotel also recommended. Only one thing spoiled our stay – Breakfast on monday morning. Breakfast is up to 10.30 a.m. We came down at approx. 10 a.m. and there did not seem to be many people […] staying in Hotel. We ordered Tea for two. It is a buffet breakfast. We waited 15 mins. for tea to arrive. I then went up and got some fruit and yogurt. By the time I sat down my wife had ordered porridge. Just as the porridge arrived we were asked if we wanted a hot breakfast because they were starting to clear things away. My wife said no, she would be happy with cheese and fruit. I opted for Fried eggs on toast. I had just get the eggs out of the Urn when it was whisked away. I sat down and my wife was up looking for some cheese and fruit. This had also been cleared away. My wife then asked a waitress could she have some melon and was told, rather rudely, it had been cleared! A different waitress came and in the discussion the first waitress (chinese girl) kept on referring to my wife as "she" was a little irritating. My wife finally got some melon and piece of cheese, but in essence, when they say breakfast finishes at 10.30 they actually mean everything, and I do mean everything, is cleared away in jig fashion. Apart from this annoying feature, great hotel! Lisez la suite

"Herbert Park Hotel. RDS on the doorstep."
Went to Dublin to see the Paul Mc Cartney concert. We chose this hotel because it was close to the RDS. We were delighted with our choice. Everything very good and staff were lovely. Concert was great too!

"Herbert Park - great for"
This hotel was great location for an overnight stay - a good few restuarants & pubs within walking distance to enjoy. Hotel bar a bit non-descript but service good. City centre a taxi ride away though. Got a great room overlooking Park beside which is pleasent for a stroll around also. Had a good hot cold buffet breakfast.
The hotel was fine, I didn't feel it was a personal a service as it could have been. Again it was unfortunate in a hotel like this that you had to ring for an iron and there weren't any tea and coffee facilities in the room and the price of tea to the room was exorbitant. Other than that it was a lovely hotel and the meal we had in the bar before we […] went to our show was really nice and the service was very prompt. Lisez la suite
"Excellent!"
Very good hotel, comfortable and clean rooms..... wonderful experience
"5 star Hotel"
Great location and very comfortable rooms, Booked on Hotels.com for half the price. The rooms are the best i've stayed in Dublin.
"very good value"
Didn't disappoint very good value
"Good value"
I stayed in this hotel for 1 night while on a business trip. The hotel is bright, clean, well run and nicely decorated. The area around it has a variety of nice restaurants and bars and a park on its doorstep and is a 5 minute cab ride from the city centre. Buses into the city centre are available outside also. The staff were very friendly and helpful […] and checking in and out was done quickly with the minimum of fuss. This hotel is suitable for anyone looking for a good quality, modern hotel at a reasonable price. Lisez la suite
"A Class Act"
This is a very classy, ideally situated hotel, with efficient, attentive service in all respects. My only complaint would be a minor one, that use of lobby computer is over-priced. That aside this is a first-rate accomodation with at reasonable price. Would highly recommend, especially for business visitors.
"Excellent hotel"
The Herbert Park is a lovely hotel. The staff are attentive and efficient, while the hotel itself is very clean and smart .The hotel is quiet and relaxing. It is located in Ballsbridge, an upmarket part of Dublin, which has its own very good restaurants and bars. The hotel is a 20 minute walk from the centre of the city , or a 5 to10 minute taxi ride. […] The downside is that there is a parking charge of 10europer night which is a very unwelcome addition to the bill and tempers my enthusiasm somewhat. Lisez la suite

It's really unbeliveable that in 2011 there is a hotel like this one where there is not a wifi and they charge 10 US to have a connection with internet per day. But I have to agree, the hotel it's a very good one and the breakfast its very good.
"Godt hotel beliggende i rolige og hyggelige omgive"
Vi havde en god overnatning på hotellet. Store fine værelser med alt det der skal være. Rolige omgivelser i en hyggelig del af Dublin. Fornuftig pris.
