"hotel west end nice"

"Loved the location"
The West End staff was very accommodating. We were provided with great service, friendly and knowledgeable. Our room was very comfortable and clean. A great place to stay. Would recommend to others.
Hotel Location was perfect... Overall the Decor in the Bedroom was very dated & certainly needs to be given a "make over".. A Simple coat of Paint would go a long way ! Didnt have Breakfast in the Hotel so cant comment on that. Did have a evening Meal in their Restaurant & it was very good. But again too expensive (€13.80 for a Vodka & Diet Coke !!) […] .Public transport between Airport & hotel very cheap & easy...The No. 98 Bus is the one to take.. Nice is a lovely City BUT it is So very Expensive, Food, Drink, clothes everything....It makes Ireland look cheap.... I prefer Sorrento ! Lisez la suite
"Excellent Location"
We spent 2 nights in this hotel and it was really excellent. Location is really amazing, just in front of the beach! The frontline staff were very helpful especially the concierge guy. We'll definitely stay in this hotel again!
I think hotel rooms at this rate should check to see if the lightbulbs work. They should also make sure that the internet which is to be free works for the number of patrons staying there. We had 3 guests, yet not one was able to use the internet the next day. The pull out bed for the third person needs improvement. It was so uncorftable that we took […] the mattress and placed it on the ground for more comfort. Lisez la suite
"West End Hotel, Nice France"
Typical French hotel, what you pay for in North America you get much less in France. Not because of the euro or inflated cost but lack of comforts. Charm yes, but beds that are sized for adolescents and tiny bathrooms. I am not a bitter American that expects American levels everywhere, I am canadian and love the area but wish more reputable chain hotels […] would be available in the area with across the board standards. "West End Hotel - Nice, France"
This was our second time staying at the hotel. The first time was excellent - which is why we returned!! This time was even better (if you can imagine that!!) We had a fab room (6th floor) - and felt left alone to enjoy our stay. The hotel also has an excellent restaurant. Really terrific food - a bit pricey but well worth it!! The room service breakfast […] was an area where the hotel can improve - the eggs were cold, the toast seemed to not be toasted, the croissants were most un-French-like, and the juices were really small. Also - the hotel breakfast did not look great. So we will skip the breakfast the next time. Location of the hotel is superb - next to a good museum and across from the beach. What more should one want?? Go and stay there...... Lisez la suite

"Wonderful modern art deco room, service & location"
One of the most wonderful rooms we've got on a late deal - make sure you book a deluxe room - they are stunning - modern art deco - entirely unexpected... The one criticism is that they need to update the website to show them off! Reception lady was very helpful, welcoming and gave a fantastic recommendation for dinner. Location exceptional - the […] best in nice.. All in all what can I say but we were just a little happy with our choice! Lisez la suite
"Sea facing room a must!"
Rooms are quite basic and if like my partner (who used to play rugby second row) you haven't a chance of sitting on the toilet! Very clean and lovely staff but if you're having just one night in Nice spoil yourself & go next door to the Negresco. But saying that fantastic location with a car park next door and gorgeous fish soup served in the resta […] urant. Lisez la suite
"West End Hotel, Nice"
Hotel is old, beds and bathrooms are not the most modern, but the staff and cleaning crew are first class, gracious, and in many cases better than the antiseptic institutional hotel room staffs. One definitely feels the French culture in the hotel. It's a good bargain off season.
"Worst hotel in Nice"
Dont book this hotel, electricity problem, breakfast in a tent with water on the floor and very cold, extremely unfriendly and unpolite staff, bad cleaning and no clean blankets, building workers working around. AN ADVICE:DONT BOOK THIS HOTEL, many good hotels around
"Great location, ask for room with sea view"
There are different room sizes, so your experience may vary.

"The Hotel West End in Nice"
We stayed in December so it was out of season but we received excellent hospitality from professional and friendly staff who still delivered a high standard where perhaps others might not have bothered. Our room was faultless and we enjoyed a stunning sea view with balcony. Don't expect the usual full English breakfast because they take a proper French […] attitude to their food. Lisez la suite
"Good hotel with poor service"
Service very poor-slow reaction to complaints(shower broken),slow reaction to requests, unable to obtain a taxi on dparture et. etc.

"Hotel West End in Nice, France - centrally located"
We stayed at the Hotel West End in Nice, France for three days. The hotel is located on the gorgoeus Promenade des Anglais. It is close to all the main Nice attractions, including the old village. The outside of the hotel is gorgeous, as is the lobby and the various lounges on the ground floor. If you are lucky enough to have a sea view room then you […] will have a gorgeous view of the stunningly blue Meditteranean sea. As for the rooms. Our room was tiny and there were some patches on the wallpaper which was very old. The room could do with refurbishing. Our bathroom was tiny and the toilet was stuck behind a wall partition so there was hardly any room to move. Given that we were only there for three days it didn't bother me but any longer and it would have gone on my nerves. Room service is not available all day, which could be a bit inconvenient but as there are loads of eateries in the area then it's not a huge problem. We didnt use room service at all so it didn't bother us. We did enjoy some cocktails in the restaurant and although a bit on the pricey side they were delicious. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. If I could award them more than five stars I definitely would. The only issue we had was with the size of the room. And if you're in beautiful Nice you're not going to want to spend your time indoors when there's so much to see outdoors!! I would totally recommend this hotel. Lisez la suite

"Good location, question the 4*s"
Hotel is in a good location and the rooms are OK (except rooms near the elevators which are not adequately sound-proofed). Breakfast is OK but not great for a 4-star hotel. The marquee it is served in leaked, so the floor was very slippery and breakfast items were not replenished - once something ran out, that was it for the day. Room service is only […] available during "meal times" (12-2 and 7-10pm), which is unexpected in a hotel of this class and not particularly helpful if you want to eat outside those times. Perhaps things are better in high season when they have more guests, but based on my experience I would not return to this hotel. Lisez la suite
"lovely grand dame on the promenade"
Spent 3 days in a suite at the West End in Nice and wished we could havse stayed longer . Lovely to open the blinds and look out at the lovely blue Med. Sea. The restaurant was excellent and the hotel staff was more than courteous. What was most pleasant was that this hotel did not have the outrageous, pompous attitude of its neighbour to the west!
"Gorgeous hotel - ask for room 520"
This is a really well located gorgeous hotel. It is old but the rooms are well renovated.beds comfy service French need I say more. Love it will be back
"Hotel West End Nice"
This hotel was a very comfortable stop on our European tour. The room was very elegant and we were provided with the sea view we had requested. The staff were very efficient and friendly. We were also given an hour extra 'late check-out' at no charge to give us a chance to have swim before flying out. The only negative was the lack of wifi in the rooms, […] although there was access to unlimited internet use in a room downstairs. highly recommend to anyone. Lisez la suite

"Do not stay here"
The room was so small. The shower had no door or curtain. The elevator was broke and power went out for a portion of the stay and the hotel made no effort to accomadate for the inconvienences. On our final bill we also were charge for some room service we did not order.

"Very nice hotel on the Promenade"
This is a great hotel for Nice. It was recently renovated: our room still smelled new and was in perfect condition. The rooms are small, but elegant. There is very limited parking at the hotel, but there is a large and secure 24 parking lot one building away. The cost is the same as the hotel parking lot.
"Awful - by no means what you would expect from a four star"
Room on 5th floor, very small, damp stain on wall, bathroom in need of a revamp worn beige suite from the 80's, cracked sink, broken marble with ground in dirt around sink, no shower cutain resulting in water everywhere in bathroom, mirrors had damp stains on them. Front facade very impressive, but rooms were tired and worn, very much in need of some […] modernisation.

"Top-Lage"
Absolute Top-Lage, sehr kleine Zimmer.
"Fantástico"
Atendimento personalizado, funcionários atenciosos. Edifício histórico em permanente manutençao. Banheiros modernos. Suíte espaçosa. Closet. Duas sacadas. Vista privilegiada do Mediterraneo.

"As good as it gets!!"
Lite slitna rum men charmiga.
