Petite précision à l attention des français:frigo,micro onde ,bouilloire,ne veut pas dire kitchenette. La différence, c est que vous n aurez ni couverts ni assiettes, pas de plat ni de verre à part les gobelets en plastique.Ne vous attendez pas à pouvoir préparer le moindre plat,mais seulement réchauffer l éternel Mac Do. Hotel bien situé. Surtout en février, quand des bouchons, matin et soir, voient le jour !!!! Manque un peu de propreté, et chambre vieillissante. d'ailleurs, ils doivent s'en apercevoir, car des travaux sont en cours. Amicalement

situation idéale près de la belle plage et toutes les commodités près de la piscine ; malgré le nombre de touristes pas de bruit ni de cohue grace aux petites unités des résidences bien agencées; donc un havre de détente pas loin du centre de l'ile; nous y reviendrons dès que possible !

This was our 2nd time at the Sanibel Inn and both stays we're great. We had the Pool and Palms suite. The bedroom closed off with a door and our son said the pull out couch was comfortable. The hotel supplied a crib for our 10 month old. Everything was clean and the staff were helpful, even letting us check in early. We will definitely be back.

Our primary reason for vacationing on Sanibel was relaxation. The Sanibel Inn was exactly what we were looking for. Sanibel Inn had an excellent beach, was a close bike ride to the lighthouse, was easy drive to most restaurants on the Island, offered free bikes and beach gear, and had an excellent restaurant/beach bar. For the money we spent I expected service to be better than it was. We had a problem with our coffee maker and this was resolved quickly, but did not receive any more coffee after the first night. A cll to the front desk was not returned.

Honestly, we really liked the Sanibel Inn over all. It was just unfortunate that by the time we were able to check in (around 8 p.m.) all of the fully renovated rooms were taken. Pros: great location with direct-to-beach access, very spacious room with small fridge and microwave, updated bathroom, lovely pool area with bar/grill, free bikes, easy access […] to beach, on-site restaurant Cons: old carpet in room was filthy, no furniture to unpack into, steam from un-vented bathroom caused smoke alarm to go off. The Sanibel Inn was everything we hoped it would be....a great location, comfortable rooms, nice pool and pool bar...a perfect getaway resort. Having beach chairs, umbrellas and bikes available for guest use was an added bonus. We would definitely stay here again!

A lovely place to spend 2 overnights at the beach; walked the beach at sunrise, looked for shells, comfortable beds with lots of pillows, great coffee in my room, friendly but quiet & private.

Sanibel itself is beautiful and the hotel gives access directly onto the beach - miles of white shell sand. The staff were helpful with recommendations about where to eat, although there is also an on site restaurant/snack bar with friendly staff. Comfortable but some upgrades are neccessary. Simple things like beach chairs and minor miaintenance. Other wise, nice.

I had the best customer service experiance at Sanibel Inn. The view was amazing and the staff was great!

We really enjoyed our stay here, great location, good value for money, and very friendly and helpful staff.

My NEW fiance and I LOVED the Sanibel Inn,very romantic setting close to great eating places,convenient to local shops...great location to the beach..we will be back every year!!!!

From the complimentary bike rentals, to the great restaurant across from our room, to the pool bar happy hour, to the great weather, everything seemed to line up for a perfect long weekend on Sanibel. Our room was clean with nice ammenities. Loved the shampoo. We had lunch at the hotel restaurant and the food was excellent. Some of the accessory items were older but functional (ie: outside tiki bar and towel hut, beach chairs). Bikes were complimentary which was a nice surprise. Balcony furniture needs to be replaced/updated but was definitely functional. […] A small item like that can make a difference, though. We stayed for two nights over the Labor Day weekend. Even though the hotels was apparently booked full we never felt we were in a crowd. The room was a beachfront unit, with a nice screened porch and was clean and smelled great. The bartender at the pool was great and the happy hour two-fors were great too. We were able to use the pool later in the […] evening and it was nice to have a place to cool off after dinner. The air conditioner was a bit noisy and it's too bad there isn't central air, but the room was cool all the time. We only visited the restaurant for breakfast on the last morning. Nothing outstanding as far as the menu. It is a beautiful building and hopefully it will become more popular. soon. We probably won't be back to Sanibel again...not because of the hotel though. The Sanibel Inn is conveniently located off of West Golf dive and central to many shops and restaurants. The Inn is a beachfront property with great shelling all around. You won't find any large upscale hotels there - just small quaint inns. Would recommend Sanibel Inn in FL. Oceanfront room very nice and clean. Hotel cleaning staff, pool bartender and chair attendant were excellent! Very friendly. Beautiful beach and warm water. The AC wasn't working. Other than that, the place is ok for the money. Good location and access to the sourrounding.

I was disappointed in staff, whom made one feel they were not free to come into lobby and look at brochures. The 3rd night we were there our bed cover and sheets were still damp on our bed. Maid service lacking with supply of enough wash clothes and bar soap to use for two people in suite. The only recommendation for staying at this hotel is to definitely rent a car. The hotel itself is great and is located in a great location but to get anywhere conveniently, I strongly suggest a car rental. It's just too removed from everything to get to stores, restaurants via bike or walking.

The Sanibel Inn in Sanibel, FL was outstanding. Location was great, room was clean, nicely decorated, staff were friendly and helpful. The setting was quaint and picture perfect. Food at restaurant was excellent. Will recommend and stay again.

Had a great stay. Reminded me of an old Florida hotel from the 70's that had been updated. Very relaxing. Lots of shells. Carpet was bad, but noticed a carpet installing van on the premise one day. Maybe they are paying attention to these reviews. I would stay there again.

Had a great time staying here. Would highly recommend to anyone. A short walk to beach,great pool,unbelievable shelling,saw a lot of manatees and dolphin, great food and drinks at pool side bar, just an over all great place to stay. Can't wait to go back!!!!

The maid did not come to the room till 4pm, did not have time to finish all the needs of the room, she did get more towels after I had to ask. This happen the second day we were there. Left door wide open when no one was there, for security reasons you need to talk to your staff. I wasn't to sure what to expect here, so I went with the consensus on the reviews and choice The Sanibel Inn. What we got was a very clean, comfortable room, that was in a very good location. The beach was only steps away, with very good shelling, and shallow enough for children to enjoy. We went to Sanibel for our 5 year wedding anniversary. The room was gorgeous! The decor was romantic, it felt clean, and smelled nice. I was a little bummed when I found out we had a first floor room, since we payed extra for beachfront, but the buiding is 6 or 8 feet off the ground so we could still see the gulf and the waves from our room.
