Idéalement situé au nord d'une des principales artères de la ville, non loin du marché et du quartier chinois. Laverie à côté, c'est commode.

Très bonne situation, à 10 min à pied du gros centre d'activité touristique, ou à 1 min en tramway. L'arrêt est juste devant l'hôtel, et il y a en 1 toutes les 2 min environs. L'accueil est excellent et les chambres confortables. Il y a eu un problème d'évacuation dans la salle de bain, et le personnel nous a de suite placé dans une chambre de catégorie supérieure pour toute la durée de notre séjour. La salle de sport est fonctionnelle, la piscine et le jacuzzi sur le toit sont les bienvenus, et il y a un parking souterrain qui coute bien moins cher que si on gare notre voiture dans la rue... De plus nous n'avons pas entendu de bruit la nuit: l'isolation phonique est donc bonne. On recommande!

"GOOD LOCATION FOR SOME"
The Price / Value was very good.I liked the location. Some other people might not like as it is a bit of walk to main area of downtown. Not a long walk though. I used the Train and Tram so location was excellent for that. Rooms was quiet and nice. The staff that i dealt with were nice. The only downside for me was I did not think the Resturaunt food […] was that great.... I ate there once and decided to go out of my way to not eat there again. Lisez la suite

The hotel although without an imposing entrance has all you can need for a trip to Melbourne. Conveniently located within a short walk of Collins Street had both tram and train stations near by and two great coffee lounges within a 1 block walk from the hotel for a great breakfast indoor or outdoor weather permitting. The hotel staff were very helpful […] and the room service selection well presented and delivered in a timely manner by smiling wait staff. In all a good experience. Lisez la suite
"Very Dusty Room"
The Hotel was well located. The room was of descent size and well maintained. However, the our room was not too clean (way to much dust in the closet). There rooms with "a view" do not really have any view.

The hotel was nicely presented in a 1930's style and clean. The staff were polite. The room was of average size and rather dark. There was no view from the window, being at the side of the building, but it didn't matter much for the single night we spent there. More disappointing was the fact that the bar was stocked with drinks and snacks at exhorbitant […] prices. If they had been more reasonably priced, we may well have bought some. Also we were disappointed that the hotel restaurant was closed so that we were only able to have burgers in the public bar. The food was fine but not what we had hoped for. "Ideal for Footy Fans"
This was my second stay at the Vibe and it was equally as enjoyable as the first. If you plan on catching the footy action whilst in Melbourne, this location is the best, across the road from Docklands and a tram ride away from the MCG. Exceptional value for money.

Although we felt this hotel was more 3.5 or 4 star than the higher rating, it proved to be in a good location for what we wanted. It is opposite the Southern Cross railway station so we simply walked over the road to catch the Overland train. It was also close to tram stops to get around the city itself. My wife and I were both very happy with the service and value for money at this hotel. Public transport was on-hand virtually outside the main entrance. This was our first visit to Melbourne but we soon got used to getting around the CBD. For sports fans, the MCG and Etihad Stadium are close by (within walking distance). My only complaint would be with […] the price of the drinks and nibbles etc in the fridge in the room. stayed 3 nights but one whole day both our rooms were not cleaned or serviced. No consistency in managing the breakfast money.. Overall the hotel is very nice and comfortable, well located for station.

I arrived later in the evening after a hectic day leading up to my Melbourne visit, and found the calm ambience of the Vibe Savoy a comfort. I had a sound sleep each night and didn't hear any of the other guests until I ventured out into the hallway in the mornings which, in my personal experience, is unusual and hard to find. The front desk staff were […] always helpful and efficient, and when I registered a maintenance request, it was quickly attended to. The hotel is obviously an older one but it gives the Vibe Savoy a charm that's hard to find in a modern inner-city hotel. We were a bit late checking out but the staff didn't even mention it. The location is both an advantage and a downside. Melbourne's public transport is such a great service that it's easy to hop onto a tram to get to the parts of the city that I prefer to spend time in, and the fact that the hotel is so close to the Melbourne Convention Centre, Southern Cross station and the Skybus was a selling point for me. Close to Airbus Terminal and a tram stop just outside. Walking distance to centre of Melbourne. Only a few blocks from South Bank and casino. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Good buffet breakfast. I have already recommended this hotel to others.

The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. The location was very central with easy access to the city, casino and Southbank entertainment precinct. Bus and rail transport was available outside the hotel whitch made it very easy to get to where you wanted to go. We will definitely be going back next time we visit Melbourne.

Found the staff very helpful...especially Sibrenna. She was always polite, helpful and very cheerful. Only problem we found was that the "green clean" on Good Friday was not carried out. Sibrenna came to our rescue with fresh supplies of toilet paper, tissues and tea/coffee. The other problem we had was beyond the hotel's control....the noise from Spencer […] Street during the night whilst "jackhammering" was unbelievable. Of course the use of the tram service was made difficult due to road work...One taxi would not even drive us down to the hotel along Little Collins St, we therefore had to walk the block in the pouring rain. Ithe Vibe charge high prices for accommodation and I believe that the accommodation offered does not justify the high price. The staff were very well trained, courteous and helpful. The T.v was small and in a cupboard which limited viewing when in bed. If a large T.V was on the wall there would be no need for the cupboard, freeing up more space in a […] cramped room. Only one chair was in the double room. There were no robes. And the coffee N tea were cheap instant brands. We stayed at the Vibe for 6nights, opposite Southern Cross Station, very convenient for airport shuttle bus and all transport. Comfortable and clean room. Walking distance Crown Casino, football stadium and much more. Would stay again
the vibe savoy- melb. was brillant on all aspects. it was very handy to all places, as i was on crutches for my visit. i can`t wait to stay there again.

To walk to the main part of the city from the hotel is a fast 20mins. Train station across the road. Hotel comfortable but had to wait an hour for our room service meal to arrive and then got it wrong.

We found the staff to be very friendly and accommodating. The location was great as it was beside a major train station. The hotel was very clean. Bed was a bit hard and they could do with putting radios in the rooms. Music channel on the TV did not work. I found the room a little bizare in the layout, where there was a cupboard at the end of the bed […] that you could barely get open and once the cupboard was open you would have to climb over the bed to get to the other side. Situated adjacent to main railway station and airport bus terminus as well as local trams and trains giving access to the remainder of the city and suburbs. Nicely refurbished old hotel with spotlessly clean and spacious accommodation, friendly staff. The staff were very accomodating and helpful. The rooms we had were really spacious and clean. The hotel is located right across the train station and a short walk to popular spots.

This was a nice hotel with a good size room but would need more housekeeping and maintenance t the hotel.my room was quite dusty and the sheets didnt feel fresh..... The vanity i the bathroom had a brown crack mark with black mould around the bathtub
