Situation idéale pour la visite de la ville. Propreté remarquable et prestation du petit déjeuner parfaite.Seul petit bémol , la personne à l'accueil , très professionnelle , manque un peu de sourire.....

Cet hotel, coté Buda, est vraiment très bien situé dans la ville. A quelques pas du Pont des chaines, du chateau de Buda et de l'église Matthias , à 10 minutes à peine de l'église st Etienne. Très proche du centre ville, l'accès au restaurant est facilté et un retour à pied est possible même le soir (nous étions deux filles). l'hôtel se trouve côté Buda, pas loin du pont qui traverse la Danube pour se rendre au Centre de Pest où se trouve la plupart des activités, env 10 minutes à pied. Chambre très correct et propre, la literie parfait, petit déjeuner buffet, rien à dire. Le personnel un peu distant, mais très avenant quand-même. Nice clean hotel with a good breakfast. Wireless internet worked well.The Hotel is close to the chain bridge and incline up the hill to the museums and castle. Obviously nothing to compare to the Carlton hotels chain, in terms of service especially. My room located on the 7th floor, denominated ''Suites'', was small and rather dark but clean and well equiped. The person at the reception is very professional but not very friendly. Breakfast was OK. Very well located. The access is not very easy when one has […] luggages. The parking is not very easy to find and expensive (15 Euros not HUF as stated in the description). Hotel was good but no stores or supermarket nereby. Recommend to go there by taking bus of 16 or 105 from Pest side if you take public transportation so that you won't need to climb up the stairs with heavy laggage.

I would strongly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for cleanliness, comfort, and a kind and helpful staff in Buda, very close to all major tourist sights, etc. Not a lot of frills, but who care? A good breakfast buffet too.

Unfortunately we had a big problem at this hotel. Our party of six who stayed there included people of different ethnicities, and we were shocked to find what we could only interpret as racism towards the one member of my family who was African-American. There was not just one incident, but a series of troubling behavior towards this one member of our […] family by the hotel staff. Although Hungary is not an ethnically diverse country, we did not experience anything like this treatment at any of the other hotels we stayed at during our vacation. I tried to address the issue privately with the hotel management and was met with no acceptable response (or apology). Carlton is the good choice for all traveller. You will love Budapest as i am.

I wouldn't recomend this hotel, I consider this a 3 Star rating the rooms are not nice, the person at the front desk was not kind or nice at all in fact he charged me additional money for 2nd person while it was on my reservation for 2 people.

I have to say that this hotel gave us excellent service, the staff was very helpful and te breakfast was v. good. We were situated close to te tourist sites and my only complaint was the recommendation of the staff of a restuarant whose entertainment was v. mediocre.

This hotel is so well located.Service was good and the room was comfortable and very clean. Would recommend this hotel!

My wife and I have stayed at this hotel twice; October 2009 and just recently in September 2010. The hotel is reasonably priced and is an ideal base for exploring the city of Budapest. The palace and the Gelert baths are nearby and the city centre is just across the chain bridge. It's not too far to walk and the views from the bridge are wonderful. […] If you're not up to walking, you can catch a bus from the stop by the tunnel entrance. On both occasions, the rooms was clean and comfortable and the bathrooms very nice. Tea and coffee making facilities were provided, plus a TV, a hairdryer and a free safety deposit box. No key is required for this as you can set your own pin code. Breakfast is buffet style, not "full English" food, but certainly an adequate variation to satisfy us. They don't do lunch or evening meals, but there are a couple of restaurants nearby if you don't want to travel too far afield. The Pater Marcus is right next door and serves up huge portions of food. They also have an amazing range of beers! The hotel provides free internet access in a room off the lobby and there is also a small bar and lounge area. Getting to the Carlton was a minor challenge, but once there, we found it a great location where so many things were near by. The staff was extremely helpful and accomodating. We even asked for a recommendation for a good, inexpensive Hungarian restaurant in the neighborhood, and the man at check-in provided us with a restaurant with all the things […] we wanted. Our room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good and varied. It was really a very good experience, and we'd definitely stay there again if we were to return to Budapest. Lisez la suite

This hotel is so well located and yet in a quieter place than many. Service was good and the room was comfortable and very clean. Would recommend this hotel and would go back again.

Since I read other reviews saying the hotel was hard to find, I booked a car service from the airpot and got here with no problem--with a Googlemap seach it is also easy to find this place. The breakfast was OK; I stayed here 8 days and started to get tired of the selection by the end. They do not allow you to iron in your room, which was somewhat of […] a bother. Carlton Hotel er et mellemklasse hotel i Budapest. Hotellets værelser er meget standard, og virker nogen gange lidt slidt, men det betyder intet for os, da det ligger super centralt og er billigt at bo i. Hotellet ligger lige ved Kædebroen, og 100 meter væk er der en kabelbane op ad bjerget til Kongeslottet. Ligger i gå afstand til gågaden. Morgenmaden […] er inkluderet i prisen, og er også helt ok. Prima hotel. Goed gelegen. Handige verbindingen. Diverse restaurantjes in de buurt. Gewoon goed.

Camera pulita e accogliente, posizione dell'albergo comoda per muoersi a piedi nel centro. Rapporto prezzo-prestazione eccellente.

L'albergo è in una posizione ottimale, sia a Buda, sia a Pest, vicinissimo al Ponte Széchenyi Lánchíd

HOTEL CON BUONI SERVIZI. PERSONALE CORTESE E MOLTO PROFESSIONALE. POSIZIONE FANTASTICA PER VISITARE COMODAMENTE TUTTA LA CITTA' CHE E' SPLENDIDA. VICINISSIMO ALLA FERMATA DEL TRAM CHE TI PORTA IN CENTRO E AL CASTELLO DI BUDA.

Hotel is prima bevallen, de kamer was zeer schoon en verzorgd. Enige opmerkpuntje, bij de meeste hotels overigens, is dat er op een twee-persoonskamer maar een stoel staat. Verder ruime badkamer met bad en douche, ook schoon en verzorgd. Ontbijt is voor Nederlandse normen goed te noemen, enige opmerkpunt hier is dat er wat meer vers fruit mag worden […] geserveerd i.p.v. fruit uit blik(in een schaal dan). Ligging van het hotel is geweldig, je bent praktisch overal dicht bij, de kettingbrug, de burchtheuvel, de citadel, centrum van Pest is wat verder weg, maar openbaar vervoer is dichtbij(honderd meter). Hotelpersoneel is wat ouder, en met deze ervaring wordt er goed gelet op wie het hotel binnenkomt, i.v.m. eventueel diefstal. Ik heb me hier zeer prettig bij gevoeld. Ottima posizione centrale ma tranquilla. Stanza piccola con formiche sulla scrivania. WiFi gratis. Colazione senza dolci e mediocre in qualità. Parcheggio ciperto a pagamento ma utilissimo (da prenotare). Esagerate le 4 Stelle, proprio non le merita per quel lavandino crepato del bagno ed il rumore assurdo del condizionatore.
