Was the cheapest so I booked it. I have a dog so they gave a room that smelled like cat pee. There was a prostitute next door and the continental breakfast wasnt ready when I left at 6:30 AM. Everything else was ok so, you get what you pay for.

The hotel was a typical small town chain hotel. Not the newest building, but it was clean and quiet. The people working at this location, however, were anything but typical. Friendly, eager to help wherever they could, and enthusiastic about their neighborhood. I would certainly recommend this hotel

Very clean and easy to find

Our stay at the Auburn Days Inn was excellent. The only thing was that the staff was not there when we arrived and we had to wait for a little while before getting checked in. Other than that though, beds were very confortable, staff extremely friendly and helpful and breakfast was quite good.

Convenient to the outlets in Waterloo, fine for just sleeping. Good value for what we paid.

Downtown Auburn location is convenient and quiet. Friendly staff. The office manager called my room minutes after I settled in to make sure all was OK. As I was traveling with an elderly parent and the rooms were on the second floor (no elevator), I said the room was fine but perhaps a first floor room for my mom would be better for her. He switched […] her to a first floor room immediately. Both rooms were comfortable and clean. The first floor hallway had a lingering smoke smell but not noticeable in the room. A breakfast selection of cereal, coffee, juice, bread, and pastries is offered. Copies of the local paper and USA Today are for the reading. This is the second time that I've stayed at this Days Inn and if I'm ever in the Auburn area again, I will rest my travel weary body here. Lisez la suite

The stay was good. Room was clean. Heat did not work and upon sitting on a chair in room, the seat detached from frame, it was not screwed in after being covered. Breakfast was good and fresh.

The only thing nice i have to say about the hotel was the front desk staff being very friendly. The first 1 room the gave us was unclean and the bed still unmade. The 2nd room they gave us had to have 3 of the 4 light bulbs replaced. The coffee maker in the room was missing the actual coffee pot needed to make the coffee. This hotel may have seen better days - pun intended. It could use some updating, freshening up and cleaner rooms. We made reservations for 4 and had only 2 sets of towels. We put the tag on the door saying we were fine not getting new towels but they never even made the beds or vacuumed the floor. The upside is the affordable price considering the rest […] of the hotel options in the area. The neighborhood is safe and the setting beautiful. Great location. My car broke down and the hotel manager was very accommodating to allow me to switch my prepaid two-night by one day, so I wouldn't ruin my vacation weekend. Helpful and forgiving...good! Room: A/C power is controlled from front desk....you have to ask when you get to the room to have them "activate" it. First night it broke down. Asked […] to have it fixed while out for the day. Not fixed on return. Closed over bathroom door to enter shower to discover pair of men's jockey underwear hanging on the back of the door. Not mine! Although the owners were very sweet, and the hotel was clean, it was shabby. We were only there over night, and the breakfast was fine, I would probably stay someplace else in the Finger Lakes (like a bed and breakfast), if I every came back this way.

Staff was pleasant but the room itself was aweful even by motel standards. The first room we were in was suposedly non-smoking but smelled like an ashtray. We then moved to a real non-smoking room, but it had an almost unbearable mold/mildew smell. Mattress was in terrible shape both moldy and hurt your back to sleep on. Not the best Days Inn I have stayed in - very thin walls can hear everything in hall and adjoining rooms. Air conditioning was not functioning properly and had to be turned on by front desk. The only complaint that I have is the bed! It was a king size which was wonderful BUT the mattress had a huge hump in the middle of it. Not easy to sleep in the middle of the bed. Great neighborhood though. I walked through it on my morning walk!

The hotel is is located in a great area. Unfortunately, disrepair and mould made our stay very uncomfortable. My wife and I have allergies to mould and could hardly function the following morning as a result. This place really needs a facelift. No I take that back. Wrecking ball and rebuild.

The staff was friendly, the room was comfortable and the location was perfect for us. The rate was excellent and I'd recommend this hotel if you are looking for a simple room for a few nights.

This hotel is not a five star. But I was very satisfied. Everything was in order at the checkin when I arrived. We received a room right across from the dining area. Good stay and good rates

Really friendly front desk service, only problem I experienced in our smoke free room, was someone before had been smoking in our room.

The worst part was the stale cigarette smell in our non-smoking room. My 8yr old daughter noticed a large cigarette burn in the comforter on her bed. The entire 2nd floor of the section we were on smelled of smoke. The beds were very shaky - i.e. if one person moved slightly the whole bed would vibrate. Old TV, lack of outlets, dirty bathroom. The continental […] breakfast was one of our worst of 12 hotels on this trip. Overall I would rank this hotel in the bottom 2 of our 12 hotels. The housekeeping staff is extremely rude. Plan on bringing your own towels because it is a fight to get them to give you one towel per person. One of the beds was broken and springs were sticking up through.

This hotel must have recently become nonsmoking, because the halls and our room still smelled a little funky. Breakfast was disappointing. There were fruit flies in the area. Check-in staff, however, was friendly. The neighborhood seemed safe. We were even able to stop by a near by farmers market before taking off in the morning.

Great location to downtown historic Auburn. Had problems with electrical in room...not good.

Hotel was very simple -- clean and very helpful staff. Second floor has no elevator. Hairdryer in room, but no iron and ironing board, but was available on request. Pool at YMCA within the block, but not on premises. Staff even brewed me our strong southern coffee for us.

Staff was very friendly and accomodating and let us check in a couple of hours early, helped us out finding areas of interest. This hotel was just what we were looking for and was easy to find. The hotel was O.K. but it was kind of hard to find. It was clean but kind of run downed. The air conditioning wouldn't work until I went to the front desk and tell them and then they turned it on. The hotel staff were very helpful, friendly, and freqently offered assistance in directions in the community. The room and facilities were clean and smelled freshly washed. Continental breakfast was good and saved me time getting on with my trip. I would stay there again if I were in the area. Kudos to Mr. Patel and his great staff!

Room smelled of smoke as did the hallway. Carpet was wet and dirty. Hotel seemed to be poorly maintained. Would not recommend this hotel.

This hotel still has smoking rooms but they are interspersed with non-smoking so the halls stink of smoke and gets into the rooms. The bed frame fell apart that I had to repair it as no one was available to do so. The matress was sorely in need of replacement as one would roll to the middle during the night when trying to sleep. Convenient location; lower end hotel but decent for the price. Got what I expected.

Basic, no frills, but it's clean and the staff is friendly and helpful. Perfectly good place to sleep. Typical coffee-cereal-juice-and-muffins breakfast included. Pretty drive of about 45 minutes to Cornell.

We were suppose to have a non-smoking room. I may have been turned into a non-smoking room recently, but it smelled terrribly of smoke. The room amenities are very outdated. It definitely needs some upgrading. Auburn is a very nice clean town and we were happy with the town. The room was a good price.

We got there a little early, the staff at the desk was really nice and friendly, she had to make some quick adjustments, so we would not be late for my daughter's graduation. Didn't expect it to be that clean, I booked it only because all the hotels in Syracuse were fully booked, didn't, had no regrets. The breakfast was descent too.

Bathroom not fully cleaned there were hairs found near tub and few in tub

The hotel staff went above standards to make sure we were comfortable. This nice, simple hotel was all we needed to stay overnight. Enjoyed the complimentary little breakfast in the AM too!

It's what I expected for the price. good, clean, cheap.
