"Nice"
Awesome deal!
"Noisy and bed bugs!"
The hotel is gorgeous. The customer service was lovely. Unfortunately, the walls are paper thin and unless you are there to party, do not plan on sleeping. Also, prepare for the constant tingling feeling you get as soon as you lay in bed. Oh and one last thing! Self parking is no where near the hotel. You kinda get forced to pay a one time $40 valet […] fee plus tips every time you take your car out. Lisez la suite
"Good public areas--Rooms are lacking"
The lobby and public rooms are beautiful and well maintained. The hallway carpets had burgundy duct tape to cover splits--and there was a lot of duct tape on the carpet! The room was ok, but there was a large stain on the carpet. The floor was very uneven in our room, like they had just left huge holes in the pad and carpeted over it. And a marble shelf […] in the bathroom does not make it a 'marble bathroom' as they advertise. But the beds were comfortable enough and the bedding was nice. Lisez la suite

"Gorgeous piece of history!"
I loved this beautiful piece of architecture. I had a corner room on the 11th floor, so lots of light and a bit of extra room. I was given an upgrade to that room at the desk, which sealed my loyalty to the hotel. It's an old hotel, so of course the rooms are smaller, but mine was bigger than I anticipated. The view onto Pershing Square was lovely, […] and the surrounding area lively and fun. THe club king entitles you to a lovely continental breakfast in the club room, and a wine and cheese in the evening, complete with complimentary wi-fi. I definitely thought it was worth the extra $. The pool is not to be missed - absolutely stunning! Nearby Water Grill was wonderful, and there were lots of options. I had a late checkout with no hassle from the staff. I chose to park with the hotel for convenience, but could easily have parked at Pershing Square or nearby for 1/3 the price, and the hotel staff will tell you that when you check in. I'd go back in a heartbeat! Lisez la suite
"Gross"
Our hotel room was disgusting. If you don't care about quality or cleanliness, feel free to stay here. Costumer service was good - particularly the toilet was not clean and had pee stains (look like hasn't been cleaned well in a long time) around the toilet base.
"Spectacular hall, lobby, n previous lobby"
....especially the ceilings. Also enjoyed the old Academy Award photos from its previous events at the hotel. In addition: excellent breakfast buffet, great mattresses.
"Millennium Biltmore Hotel Los Angeles"
This hotel is great as far as the lobby, go to the rooms and it a whole different ball game. They really need to do a renovation of the hotel which has great potential. The location is great in you need to be in the business district otherwise not. The rooms were dated and not in a classic good way. They were cheaply done, smelt, bathrooms were not […] up to any standard, the AC kept making a clicking sound which I eventually turned off so I could sleep. Oh yes, the carpets in the hotel were torn in places which were taped up. Oh My. Lisez la suite

"An tired beauty"
The Millenium is a tired throwback to bygone days--magnificent bulding but needing work. Everything is organized to get more $ out of guests: $$$$ parking, a high charge for copies, printing, minimum $$$ breakfast. Service is excellent. Rooms very worn out and inconsistent. No good outlets. No jewelry safe in my room. Smelly smoking room areas. Limited […] health club hours--not for the flex time folks. Lisez la suite
"Not what I expected."
Hotel was beautiful and fancy looking! But first off all children not welcome to continental breakfast. Room was very old and smelled of old cigarette. Location was hard to find parking area. If you want to park at hotel it's expensive. Otherwise you have to park around neighborhood , but area very shady.
"Historic landmark and great location"
We stayed for one night at the Millennium Biltmore and found it to be a very comfortable stay. The hotel offers a lot of amenities, such as a great menu for room service, and other shops and restaurants in the building. It was also located conveniently to the Metro, and a few blocks from the entertainment district, with the Disney Concert Hall, LA Contemporary […] Art Museum, etc. The condition of the public spaces such as the lobby and tea room was amazing. Beautifully restored woodwork, frescoes, murals, etc. The condition of the rooms and the upper level hallways were not as nice. I don't mind the slightly dinged up trim, shutters, or even cracked sinks or bathtubs, and taped carpet in the halls; there should be some allowance for a historic building to be able to not have all shiny and new items. However, the room was not too clean. From a superficial glance, the floors and surfaces were clean. But, when you do a thorough check, there were some stains on the mattress cover, the areas behind the nightstands were very dusty, and when you opened the shutters, there was dirt and dust sitting on the window sill. Overall, I am still happy with the experience at the hotel. The staff were very nice, and staying at a hotel that represents a piece of LA history was nice enough to forget about the slight issues with the room. It was also very lively while we were there - with a film crew setting up in the lobby, and many visitors checking-in and out. It would not be great for a utilitarian business stay (given the liveliness, the check-in and out wait, and the overall room cleanliness), but it was a great experience as a tourist. Lisez la suite
"Beautiful Hotel"
We enjoyed are stay at the Millenium Biltmore. The room was clean but I think they need to change the filters for the Heat & Air. My nose was very stuffy. But overall nice Hotel & rooms for Downtown LA at a great rate. Also there is a Starbucks on the corner.

"Millennium Biltmore Hotel Los Angeles"
We had originally requested a deluxe room and not a standard room. The first room we were originally placed in was smaller than expected, but the front desk was very accomodating and put us in a larger room immediately. The hotel is a little older which is neat, but should be renovated more often. Parking is quite steep for the valet not being too quick […] on their feet. I would recommend staying here, but I would also suggest checking out more modern hotels before you do. Lisez la suite
"it was just disgusting"
Unbelievable, I went this hotel because of ratings. it was just disgusting. it is not even 1 star hotel.. I wish I took the picture and had a chance to hear for display..
"Biltmore BAD"
One of the worst hotel rooms ever. They spend money on the lobby and public areas and ignore the rooms. There was no chair to sit, relax and read in. Only the desk chair (straight back and no arms) The bathroom was out of the 1940's. I will not go back.

"Biltmore LA great location"
Perfect location, hotel a little tired but steeped in history, clean friendly service good value would go back
"The Biltmore - impressive interior"
I stayed with my wife for 3 nights in January. What a beautiful hotel. After booking it (at half price I must say as we got in in a 24 hour sale) I looked online for pictures but none pay justice to just how grand this hotel is. It has played host to the Oscar's in the past and you can see why. It has an old fashioned concierge, valets for the car (at […] $40 a night) and bell boys. An impressive start. The room is a decent size and has internet access for an extra $14.99 a night. The decor has seen better days - marble in the bathroom is great but is mixed in with newer, cheaper surrounds and furniture. No street noise and none in hotel so sleep was good - huge queensize bed. Staff very polite and helpful and willing to point out eateries and sights. There is a hotel restaurant that does great meals but they are a little expensive. If you can't afford that there are several other places within 10 minutes walk. However, at the very least have tea in the original lobby, its spectacular and was being used as a film set the day before we left. As to it's location, LA is huge and wherever you go will be far from somewhere. This is central and meant we got everywhere reasonably quickly. We would definitely go again. Lisez la suite
"Grand Old Hotel"
The Millenium Biltmore is a large hotel that was once probably very grand. The rooms are fine, but the bathrooms are small and not updated. They have a very nice bar that was very busy and high energy and gets an "after work crowd". I think if more renovation were done; the hotel could attract more people. It is a good downtown location, but I prefer […] more of a neighborhood feel. Botegga Louie's which is two blocks away is an outstanding resturant and going to the Grand Market is a fun expereince as well. Lisez la suite
"The Millenium Biltmore -a wealth of history"
The hotel was centrally located for business end. I find it a little out of town for restaurants as I was on my own and didn't want to walk around of a night. But the restaurants and bars at the hotel catered well for meals so I ate there the two nights. I found it a comfortable hotel and the memorabilia within the hotel was magnificent to see.
Very friendly and helpful staff, comfortable rooms and a bar conveniently located in the lobby make for a fun time at this hotel.

"Christmas 2011 Hotel Visit"
The hotel's architecture is beautiful and the decorations for the Christmas season were also very beutiful. All staff was very helpful and friendly. I would re-think the price for the breakfast offerings because it is on the pricey side. During my 4 day stay I noticed a single family taking advantage of the breakfast buffet; most others used your sundry/refreshment […] area to purchase coffee, fruit and danish (continental style). I wonder how your chef and cook staff is impacted after cooking a full course buffet only to have a few guest enjoying it. I would suggest you update your fitness equipment in the free-form weight area and weight machine areas -this equipment is out dated. Also, you cannot use headpphones/earphones in the aerobic area (e.g. tredmill, stairmaster, etc.) Newere equipment hear would be beneficial. Lisez la suite
"Class, elegance AND affordability!"
My fiancé used to have a couture lingerie store at the Biltmore for a number of years, so our visit was like "old times" for her and a new visit for me. I was impressed with the overall elegance of this landmark. The bellman who helped us with our bags up to the room had been there 35 years and remembered her store and shared much with us regarding […] what to do and see and look for. Overall a very pleasant experience. Lisez la suite
"Awesome!"
The hotel looks and feels fabulous. Great location, walking distance to just about everything downtown. Like most downtown hotels, parking is very expensive ($40 a night). But there is an underground parking lot across the street at pershing square and an outdoor parking lot on the northeast catty-corner (which I used) for a fraction of the cost ($10 […] a night). Very simple and small room. Nothing too special. Unorganized in getting baggage from the valet parking to the rooms.
"Sorry Biltmore, It's Over Between Us :-("
I, personally,am enamoured with this historic hoteland all of it's charms. The sales reps. from the company I work for, however, do not. I have had to stop boking them here and have resorted to booking them at other Downtown hotels. Every time, in recent memory that I have booked a room for someone at the BIltmore, I end up apologizing the next day. This […] past week,in haste, I booked a room for a visiting sales rep. at the Biltmore for one night. In her first room, the pipe under the sink disconnected and spewed water all over the bathroom, flooding it. The second room reeked of cigarette smoke once she entered it (in all fairness, I do not know if she is particularly sensitive to cigarette smoke). In the third room the temperature controls did not work properly but she did not discover this until she was already in her jammies so she stayed. I am sooooo regretting that I booked my boss a room there in 2 weeks. Let's hope I still have a job after that. One more point, the Biltmore staff did nothing extra to appease my sales rep. this week. Her pipe exploded and they didn't even offer her a breakfast or anything. Bad form, Biltmore, bad form. "Great location & beautiful interiors"
This is a great historical hotel in a great location. Recieved a great deal on Hotels.com, so I couldn't pass it up! The rooms are very basic and not really worth the general price.

rooms and hallways need to be refurbished lobby and history nice but disappointing room and bath
The Biltmore was very nice for our stay. We ended up on the club level (floor 10) where you had complimentary breakfast and some snacks at night. The location and staff were very good. We didn't have any problems. The conceige were very helpful. I would recommend this and stay there again.

"Beautiful hotel, little room"
The problem is they try to nickel and dime you for everything. It was $40/Day to park at the hotel. Internet, anywhere in the hotel, was $10/day. The TV in the room also got very few channels and didn't work that well (my PPV movie was comped d/t problems with the screen). BEAUTIFUL hotel, very elegant etc, but the service and room itself left something […] to be desired. Lisez la suite

"a jewel in downtown LA"
Classy, magnificent, comfortable. Pricey but worth it. Don't be fooled into spending arm and leg to park the car with them, unless you really want valet. There is plentiful parking options for a fraction of the price within 2 blocks.
