"Pretty Good"
On a humorous note, the first time I pulled up to the hotel a young man in a white shirt and black pants approached me and I told him I needed to check inside to see if there was any availability. He told me they were sold out so I pulled the car around the side of the building and started searching hotels.com. I was surprised that the closest available […] room was in this Marriott and I booked the room through the hotels.com website. I then went inside to check in and mentioned what the valet had told me, only to find out the hotel doesn't have valet service. I guess someone was either having some fun, or was trying to get even with me for a perceived insult. (What me, park cars?) Everything was fine, except: 1) they have no valet parking, which can be a bit of a problem on a rainy night,, 2) the alarm clock was set to the wrong time so I got up an hour earlier than I had to, and 3) my omelet took 30 minutes to arrive, even though I ate in the dining room. "Convenient to both West Palm and Palm Beach"

"Great hotel for business travelers, and families."
We spent a very enjoyable week in west Palm Beach. The hotel is superbly located near the spectacular Kravis Entertainment Center and Town Center. In fact, it is within walking distance of the Town and Kravis Centers where you will find street entertainment, many restaurants, shopping, movies and theater. But, if walking is not your "thing" or you don't […] have a car, the Marriott will provide, on short notice, free car/van service to the Town Center, the Kravis and airport. In addition, we found the hotel staff to be very friendly and helpful in every respect, including late check-out, directions, transportation, extra blankets, etc. Access to the computers (4) and printer in the lobby is free of charge. The only problem we encountered is that the pool is not heated and when the weather is not about 90-95 degrees, it is too cold to swim. Also the hotel restaurant, Bistro, has a limited selection for vegetarians and salad lovers like us, although the breakfast was excellent and varied, with hot and cold dishes served in a friendly atmosphere. This Marriott was great! Conveniently located got a shuttle to airport and cityplace for free! 15 mins away from the beach but had a beautiful view of the lake. The hotel was clean and room service was efficient. Had a problem with my room and they changed my room no questions asked. The beds and pillows were not up to typical Marriott standards but I can't say enough about the staff! They offer a free shuttle to several places around town--call and they pick you up, and quickly, with free bottles of water and always a smile. The pool was wonderful, the area nice and clean. The patio featured a raised fire pit that was so wonderful […] to sit around. The exercise room was amazing. Hotel exercise rooms are usually the size of a closet with two treadmills and a bike. When we walked in our room we were hit with a musty, smoky smell. The smell lingered our entire stay. It was difficult to locate their breakfast due to a "beautification". Although I gave the comfort of the room a 3 it was becasue of the pillows in the room, there are no firm pillows on the beds. I had a very hard time falling asleep with the pillows as I had to stack the ones for comfort and then my neck was in a very un comfortable postition. Having stayed at Marrott Hotels many times in numerous cities this was the worst. The tub would not drain. Towels were paper thin. Room was not cleaned daily. Stayed for 7 days and the sheet were only changed once. It was explained that it is hotel policy to change only once every three days so why do you pay the same rate of each day.
