Gaylord Opryland Resort and Spa - Nashville

Check in, rapide et pas d'éffort si tu comprend pas ! Chambre tout au fond de l'hotel, au moins 15 minutes pour rallier la chambre "quelconque" et sortir, et vice et versa...à 30 minutes du centre ville si ça roule bien ! sinon les cartes magnètiques se desactives facilement, donc c'est le cauchemar du marathon dans l'hotel etc... seul point positif […] la végétation et la déco tout cela sous la grande vérriére...bof ! Tu rentres dans l'hotel tu visites et tu t'en va, car tu à tout vu ce qu'il y a , à voir ! Trés trés décevant, Ils veulent ce la jouer comme à Vegas, Hélas ils en sont trés , trés loin ! J'ai été contente de séjourner dans cet hôtel mais je n'y retournerais pas. La chambre est agréable et spacieuse mais la déco n'est pas extraordinaire et la salle de bain tout à fait quelconque.... La literie est parfaite, la connection internet gratuite. Les piscines intérieure et extérieure et le jacuzzi sont belles et agréables. L'hôtel en lui […] même est une vraie attraction à visiter, tout y est très grand, très artificiel mais joli à voir. Le parking est immense et payant.... Le personnel de la réception n'est pas spécialement agréable et encore moins souriant ! Il vous font venir avec un signe pas très élégant de la main tout en machant leur chewing gum ! Petite anecdote : une des filles de la réception est sortie du comptoir pour aller se chercher à manger, elle avait son uniforme. Le pantalon était beaucoup trop long pour elle et elle marchait carrément dessus ce qui fait que le bas était tout déchiré... quelle classe pour un 5 étoiles !!!!!!!!!!!!!! Malgré que je ne sois pas difficile, je pense avoir payé cher cette chambre et cet hôtel qui ne mérite pas ses étoiles ni au niveau des prestations ni au niveau de la déco ou de la propreté (c'était propre mais pas nickel....). The hotel is the largest I have ever stayed at in my life. 2881 rooms is overwhelming, however, checkin does provide a map and written instructions on how to get to your room. We found shortcuts pretty quickly. When you leave your room, bring everything with you, you don't want to just pop back for something. It is however a vacation experience and […] am so pleased that we stayed here. I can't believe what a wonderful job the hotel did in it's recovery efforts from the horrible flood two years ago. I've been to the Gaylord Opryland twice before and my wife and I were excited to go together. It was everything I told her it would be. Great job.

This hotel is awesome. 2 gardens with a river through them and a street of shops. All INSIDE. It's like 4 separate hotels (all larger than a normal hotel) All connected together. Indoor and outdoor pools, and the spa tub (outside) is huge. One thing though...the food is super expensive in all of the restaurants. There is one exit with a walkway to the […] mall next door, Go there to eat. There's a restaurant in the mall where you eat in an aquarium, with sharks, stingrays, etc swimming around you. The Gaylord Opryland is simply amazing. The indoor atriums are breathtaking and the rooms are well appointed. We stayed in a garden view room with balcony, and it was very worth it for the view and ambience. While the hotel is pricey, it is definitely a place to see. A lot to do in the hotel and out! The location was easy to get in and out of.

Lots to do in this beautiful resort in Nashville. Our favorite part of vacation in TN is the resort itself. Plenty of restaurants, shops, gardens and a beautiful view from the rooms.

What can I say? Opryland is a city unto itself you really don't need to step off the property for anything. The staff is extremely courteous, the spa staff was so attentive to our needs and the facility was clean,in good repair, and oh so relaxing. If you do leave the resort Opryland provides shuttle service to many of the area attractions. And the […] shuttle driver were as friendly and helpful as the concierge staff. Fabulous! To quote my husband, "This is not just a hotel stay, it's an event!" Our balcony overlooked the waterfalls in the Cascades area of the Gaylord complex. Food services, room service, and guest services were par excellance. Would definitely go again. There was a surprise. Perhaps I just overlooked it, but did not notice (when booking online) […] the mention of the daily resort fee and daily self-parking fee. This is a great experience for anyone thinking of staying in the Nashville area. It is a huge resort with incredible amenities. Do not miss this one!

The menu in the room had food drippings on it and my sisters room the curtains out to the balcony had food on them. We didn't see any bellmen to help with bags unless you used valet parking. The inside foliage was beautiful and very well cared for, but we were very disappointed in the rooms for the price.

I enjoyed my stay at the hotel and seeing all of the amenities and shops at the hotel.

I loved my experience at the hotel. The staff was very helpful, room was execpetional, clean and would highly recommend to others. This hotel is HUGH, if you have problems with walking you might want to get a wheelchair.

The Opryland Resort is something worth paying a parking fee to visit and walk around, but don't waste your money by staying there. There are so many hidden fees, that we literally couldn't wait to get out as it felt as though our pockets were continuously being picked. All the staff was very courtious and helpful. We enjoyed all the ammenities. We were dissapointed the indoor pool was not working. The restaurants were fabulous. The spa trip was lovely, however for the price the nail polished lifted off the first day.

It was a standard room, not worth the money. I wasn't given the option for a king bed even though I paid for it. Nice hotel though.

What a beautiful experience at the Gaylord Opryland Hotel. From the moment we drove up for valet parking until we left two days later, we could not have asked for anything more romantic, exciting, and so "all inclusive" as this place. With everything it has to offer, one never has to leave the ground to find everything they need. Parking was located far away from hotel complex and if you needed to get back to pick someone up, you had to go all the way out to the street, wait for the light and come back in. It took us several minutes to get to our room because the hotel is so HUGE! To some bigger is better, but not to me. The room was like a hot box when we entered and the thermostat […] in the hotel room was hard to read because you had to bend over to read it and insufficient lighting made it even more difficult. Additionally, the keys to change the different functions like heat, cool, auto, change of temp. etc kept sticking creating even more frustrations. Staying at the Gaylord is expensive, but it is one of the few places I fell like I get more than what I pay for. It sets a standard by which I rate hotels. Quality and service is the best anywhere. Close to the always-fun Grand Ole Opry with shuttle bus service.

We really enjoyed the beautiful greenery & waterfalls The people you employed were all very friendly & helpful . Our favorite place to eat was the old hickory . We will be back!

Everything was excellent. This was our 2nd stay, both in February, our Wedding Anniversary and Valentine weekend. The only bit of contention was the fact I was unable to use my military discount because unlike my 1st visit, we booked through Hotels.com and they do not recognize the discount. Of all the discounts that are available in our nation this […] is the ONE every establishment should honor. In the future, we will not use Hotels.com and book directly with the Gaylord. P.S. Our first stay was weeks before the devastating flood in Nashville. Kudos for the Gaylord and all it's employees for the remarkable recovery from this natural disaster, we saw nothing but the best! We live in the Nashville area and have visited the Opryland complex many times to shop, eat, etc. This was our first and last time we would stay at the hotel. The quality of the room nowhere lives up to one's expectations of a 4 star hotel. Bedding was subpar, pillows and mattress were not comfortable. The room appeared empty and missing furnishings […] with large sections of the room with nothing in them. The resort charges numerous additional fees to add to the cost of a stay (parking and resort fees) then takes steps to try and force you to spend even more such as. No coffee maker in room Disabled HDMI ports on the TV to prevent laptop connections. Overall one would be much better off staying in another hotel nearby and then parking at the mall next to the opryland hotel for free and walking to the hotel if needed for an event or dinner or otherwise. Having had the opportunity to stay here on a number of occassions for work I knew a little of what to expect. My wife and I enjoyed our first weekend away without the kids for the first time in nine years and couldn't be happier with our decision on locations. The facility is absolutely breathtaking, service, food selections and quality were fantastic. […] My only caution would be, while I expected to pay premium prices for things, be prepared for outrageous prices on things!!! I think they would do well to pull back just a bit on the pricing, otherwise great place to visit once but wouldn't be a repeat solely based on pricing of misc things. Lisez la suite

The hotel is first class from the accommodations to the service. Their decor makes you feel like you're outdoors.

Great and beautiful hotel. Don't eat at the Italian restaurant though. Very overpriced a pork hop with beans was the special of the day was 40.00 and the pork chop had fat on it. We had to have room service because we could not get into a restaurant the first night. It was quicker and better than the high priced one and the food was at your room in […] 30 min. I was traveling with my 2 sons age 6. They loved the hotel just hated waiting for everything. It took 45 min to get our car when it was time to go. I thought they had lost it. Overall, a lot of fun. I would have to say, though, that every travel hotel and motel across the nation provides free parking, and I think what they do falls into the category of "nickel and diming" the guests. Rather cheesy.

Opryland Hotel had some hidden charges that were not revealed until we checked in. Parking was priced too high in my opinion. Facilities were very nice and personnell were very helpful.

We had a great time. Particularly enjoyed the free family New Years Eve party in the Delta area. Impossible to get reservation for dinner in a hotel restaurant that day. Understandable. Took cab to a local restaurant, but couldn't get a cab back to hotel! Called hotel to see if they could send one over from the many sitting there when we left, but […] the person who answered was not helpful. Bummer. Room was handicapped room with a somewhat obstructed view from our balcony, so a little disappointed in that for the room. we didn't ask for a handicapped room (beds really low to ground). asked to be changed but of course on new years eve no luck. For my first time there it was pretty awrsome, my husband and i spent our wedding night there... Alittle pricey but well worth it

The hotel is a 12 on a scale of 10! So much to see in the gardens. So relaxing and beautiful. Great restaurants! I keep going back because it feels me with with such comfort and joy.
