"Un bon hotel"Evalué par Reza A de "France" le 18 nov. 2011
C'est un hotel qui est bien entretenu et les chambres sont assez confortables. Le rapport qualité/prix est assez intéressant.

"Great stay"
It was magnificent stay at Riviera. If you are looking for a clean beach style hotel/resort with great location in Beirut close to everything, don't wast your time and efforts searching around, just take any sea view room or suite at Riviera Hotel. Hotel rates are reasonable; receiption and other guest services were quick, friendly and practical. Strongly […] recommended. Lisez la suite

"You MUST Specify you want an upgraded room"
6/15/2011- 6/18/2011 We were told by family who live in the area that the rooms were very poorly maintained and the only good thing was the sea side pool area, so we attempted to call before hand, but were told they would call us back in 5 minutes, and we never recieved a call ( very unprofessional) We decided to purchase the Deluxe Corner Sea View […] room, which is better than the basic room. But it seems they have been remodeling over the last few years and some rooms are not yet remodeled. Upon arrival I felt like these old rooms were reserved "hotels.com customers".( i attempted to persuade the front desk clerk to give us the remodeled rooms, but he was not willing) I was not that concerned about this until we actually got in the room. there were stains splattered on thew all ( looked like soda or wine) the carpet was sticky ( at least they gave us free slippers) smelled like smoke ( it was a non- smoking room) and the corner sea view that we paid extra for was covered by trees that were growing from under our balcony ( Do not pay extra for the corner sea view!) and even if the room was a higher level you still could not consciously leave your balcony door open because the corner balconies are attached to the adjoining rooms, anyone can see into your room( or climb over the rail into your room) So I had to keep the curtains closed the entire stay .... and one of my favorite things about staying in Lebanon is leaving my windows open any getting the night sea breeze. I felt very cheated this was $65 more a night than other hotels ( nicer hotels) in the area... stay elsewhere and pay the $20 fee to use their sea side pool area ( The pool area is very very nice) I will Not stay here again, but if you do, make sure you know which option is the remodeled rooms. ( i do not think that this hotel should even rent the old rooms until they have been remodeled) Lisez la suite
"Hotel Riviera Beirut"
The hotel is going through some modernisation at the moment, and even though our room had not been done yet it was still spacious, clean and comfortable and overall very pleasant, with a lovely balcony overlooking the sea (and unfortunately a very busy main road). The main good point to this hotel, was the 'beach club'. There are no actual beaches […] along the waterfront in central Beirut, therefore beachclubs are created (effectively an area created on the sea (pontoon) with swimming pools and sunbeds etc). From walking past the other clubs, the Riveira was by far the best - it had a very luxourious feel and free to use (v expensive to visit if you were not part of the hotel). There were 3 pools, lots of subeds in differnet guises (altough we were never sure what areas we were and were not allowed to sit in!), so kept to the main areas. There was a DJ every afternoon, playing loud dance music which was quite good, if not a little too loud for relaxing! Weekends were the busist by far as the public would turn up, but plenty of beds for all as long as you are there by 11am. The downside to the location of hotel was the lack of restaurants in the area - a few, but otherwise you had to taxi to downtown ($10 USD each way), for 5 min ride. Overall i would recommend if you want to relax for a few days. Lisez la suite

"Hotel in Beiruth-very good soon"
Repairs of the hotel was not finished. The room was old. I think that when repairs are completed work will hottelet to be very good
"Reviera- Beirut"
Reviera pool was one of the best pools/beach to me in Beirut. Although this is the first time I experience living at the same hotel. It was really good, didn't complain from anything! However, it is quite old so the furniture and the corridors are not very luxurious!! but the high-gene was excellent and the service.. and really that what matters for […] me.. the hotel is about to renew the decorations, and I'm sure it's going to be perfect by then... I recommend Reviera to everyone especially for people who are going in the summer and looking for a "fun tan experience" :) Lisez la suite

"Worst stay ever"
The hotel is extremly old and not well maintained, carpets are filthy, the room equipments are all out of order( hairdryer, mirror, safety box) the bed matress and cover are poor quality. The service is bad,( no housekeeper answers the phone). The worst part was when we went to the pool, we were forbiden to enter the beach unless we pay $100p.p, they […] claimed it was a private party and hotel guests can't enter without entrance fee, so we paid extra. "Great beach club"
We made the most of the pool facilities. The rest of the hotel was slightly tired looking, but breakfast was good. Everywhere was very clean.
"Nyoppusset hotell rett ved Middelhavet"
Vaart rom hadde en flott utsikt til Middelhavet, og det var bare veien som skilte hotellet og den fine Cornichen. Ulempen er at det er et stykke til shopping. Rommet var nyoppusset.

"Riviera Hotel, Beirut"
I had stayed at this hotel 15 years ago. At that time, the service was very kind and employees were kind. Also there was a Japanese restaurant. However, I was disappointed this time. I asked the front to change my room to the one facing beach. They never cared about it. The restaurant was far from the building. When I went to the pool belonging to the […] hotel, they said no towel any more. And they never tried to find it. Very bad service! I noticed there are many other new and good hotels are build in Beirut. Next time, I will stay at more comfortable hotels. Lisez la suite
