Harbor Court Hotel, a Kimpton Hotel - San Francisco

The room was tiny, which I knew, but the air conditioner was so loud it was almost impossible to sleep with it on. Maintenance was definitely needed on that machine.

I enjoyed the beautiful views, elegant lounge area, and friendly staff. The location is amazing and the room was appropriate. Highly recommended.

Fantastic Service and Location, Pet Friendly a +++ Lack of Spa Service made up for by YMCA facility next door and courtesy hotel bike loan (nice road bike). Right next to Fantastic dinig weather you want sushi (but not on Sundays) or traditional, or 5 minute walk to the Embarcadero, however stay away from "Sinbad's The other Direction a ten minute walk […] to the ball park! Lets start of to clarify that the hotel is very nice. But there were some features that I wasn't terribly happy with. First of all the room is very small. From bed to closet just enough to role the suitcase. Opening the windows we had a view of a large airwent system and there were about three meters to the next room on the other side. Seeing that […] valet was 42usd I thought I would be able to get away with parking in a parking house close by or something of the sort. Not the case. All parking in this area is this price and a large part of the total price. Just be aware that you need to factor that cost in. Otherwise the fresh water and cookies in the lobby, friendly staff and other little nice touches were good but didn't counter the other negative factors. Lisez la suite

I recently stayed at the Harbor Court Hotel. My boyfriend and I were enjoying a weekend stay in San Francisco and after reading reviews opted to stay at this hotel. The staff was extremely friendly and accomodating. We had our 60+ pound dog with us, which was no problem. Immediately, our concierge asked if we needed any bowls or other things for the […] dog. Also, we were asked why we were visiting San Francisco for the weekend and stated, "it's our birthdays!" About an hour later, we received a bottle of wine, chocolates, and a card signed by the staff. It was such a nice gesture and very appreciated by the two of us. The only downfall was the size of the room, but that didn't discourage us due to the beautiful weather we had. Highly recommended!!! Booked through Hotels.com again but this time got a tiny room (801) right across from the elevators. The TV was mounted near the ceiling and was difficult to watch. There was (someone else's) hair in the bathroom and the seal on the shampoo bottle was broken. When checking out, I expressed my dissatisfaction and the front desk person sort of said, well, […] that was what you paid for and next time book a bigger room. The hotel was really nice and in good repair. The room was super small, like spare bedroom small, but we only stayed one night so not a big deal. Parking is pricy and the hotel doesn't have it's own lot so that was its big downfall for me. Ended up paying $47 for the night in parking. We paid half price for the room, so we were satisfied. My room was very small but had all the right features. The hotel is conveniently located to the water and the Ferry Building. The free coffee and wine hour are nice touches. I used the iPod dock and radio during my stay. The free internet and roaring fire in the lobby were well appreciated. This is not a review, but a complaint. The TV reception was very poor and the room had no where to sit other than a desk chair.

It's quiet, it's clean, it's pretty stylish for the price and it's affordable for the city. I would stay here again. The rooms are small but no harm; they are comfortable. Service was subtle and effective.

This hotel was really a suprise. Good room, good service and wine at 5 PM!

room was way to small and it seemed like the guy at the front desk wasn't happy that i got it from a 3rd party. i heard him tell the other guest checkung in about the things that events they were having at the hotel but didn't tell me about them. i found that to be rude.

The hotel was great, called them the same day of checking in and told them it was me and my wife sixteen year anniversary. They gave us upgrade to our room and had champagne and chocolates in our room when we arrived. The view was of the bay bridge. Great Stay

I stayed in this hotel for a quick business trip to San Francisco and I loved it. All the front desk attendants were very nice and timely. The room was very clean and comfortable, and I got a great deal thru hotels.com. Definitely reccommend their delicious organic teas in the morning and other snacks offered during the day in the main lobby.

I traveled with a girlfriend and there are no rooms with 2 beds. THe room was very small, as was the bathroom. The bathroom had peeling wallpaper, holes in the wall where a towel rack had been moved but not repaired and in the bedroom the entire wall was mirrors which we didn't like. The location is fine for this hotel but my room was so small, I could barely fit a chair behind the desk right next to my bed. I had nowhere to put my suitcase other than on the bedside table on the other side of the bed. And even though I was on the top floor, there was a distinct fish smell coming up through the air... probably from the Japanese restaurant […] next door. It wasn't great, that's for sure. This was a great value for the money and location. The room was a bit small and the facility older than I prefer. The staff was wonderfully accomodating.

This hotel is in a great location...across the street from the ferry building where we had dinner reservations at The Slanted Door. The room was small but had everything you'd need. the bed was comfortable. The room was clean. the service was super! Can't wait to book another room!

I have never had a bad experience at a Kimpton Hotel. We stayed the night of NYE 2012 and this hotel was fun, a complimentary happy hour wine/beer bar in the lobby when we first arrived. All the staff was super friendly/helpful. The room was very small, as expected in Frisco but it was clean and that is what matters to me. A great hotel :)

Second stay at this hotel....across street from Ferry Building. Well appointed....lots of restaurants in area. Parking is well organized and cheap by SF standards. Staff are outstanding.

The room was pricey on New Years eve but had a good view of the fireworks and a good stay. The hotel is dog friendly so if you don't like dogs you might want to look elsewhere.

We were extremely pleased with most everything, had two set backs, requested king bed, got a queen, they comped the parking, and could not return to room after 2012 year until 3 am. problem with the computer. They gave a full refund. They were so accommodating. we will definitely return.

Great location for viewing the New Years fireworks!!

Great location right next to the Ferry Building! Room was small, but clean. I was really happy with place until I got back to my hotel and found out that nobody could get into their room. It was 2 am on New Year's day. The entire hotel had to sit in the lobby. People were drunk and passed out all over. We had some trouble w/ our internet connection & they credited our parking charge. Hotel is very comfortable & clean. Close to Ferry Bldg/Embarcadero. Would stay there again w/ similar rate.

Right by the start of Market, and Embarcadero, this is a perfect San Francisco location, close to everything. Rooms are a little small, but it is otherwise very nice. Great resto downstairs...

We found the Hotel staff very corteous and friendly. They tried to get us a room early but was not cleaned. Just waited a while for nothing. Bed was very comfy and no disruptions at all. The only complaint is the small bathroom but you go to SF to be in SF not in your bathroom.

The hotel staff we so helpful and friendly. We were given a glass of wine as we checked in and then later in the evening, they served milk and cookies! What a homey feeling to have in a big city.

We were treated very well by all the staff. They were helpful and courteous. We stay in San Francisco often and have already recommended the Harbor Court to friends.

The excellence of your staff was the finest I've ever encountered. Kind, professional, helpful. So easy to walk to the best restaurants, farmer's markets, galleries and transportation. My room looked out onto the Bay Bridge. I kept my shade up 24/7 to watch the ships, sail boats and lights on the bridge. I only wish that a staff person had pointed out […] the vast drawer storate under the bed! I asked for perfect weather when I made my reservation and that was provided each day as well! Perfect for my daughter 5, n my mother, n they are dog friendly (pug). Their coffee was terrible, overall the price was a sure winner.

Great hotel! Paid a bit extra for a view, and was glad I did. Would definitely stay here again!

this is as good as it gets. great staff and room with all the amenities notwithstanding the free extras of wine tasting at 5pm, cookies at 9pm and best coffee and hot chocolate in town from 6am to 11am in lobby and you get to print your boarding pass for next flight. If ytou have a pet they will pamper you.
