A recommander.
"Great value!"
From the General Manager met at Rotary down, Prince Hotel staff team delivered consistently high service and made our first trip to Tokyo memorable.
"GREAT LOCATION"
The Prince was an excellent location, close to jr line so getting anywhere in Tokyo easy.Interesting buddist temple next door and a great coffee, pastry shop just around corner
"Tokyo Prince Hotel"
Very nicely appointed hotel. Good location right next to Tokyo Tower and temple. Walking distance to fish market. Subway is nearby. Free shuttle to JR train station. Staff was very helpful.
The situation is peaceful but convenient for the metro. The atmosphere in the hotel was relaxed, which does not exclude efficiency. The hotel is not very new but well maintained and, perhaps because of its age, our room was +/- 25 sq metres, rather good for Japan.
very clean & big room, my room facing Tokyo Tower, nice view. only the location not convience, but they have shuttle service to train station.

"good location ; good service"
professional service ; very good location ; hotel is somewhat old ; needs revamping but good value
"Tokyo prince hotel"
Very good service, very clean. Close to good places to party or just to take a 25 min walk down to the ocean and the big fish market! And of course, like 2 min walk to the huge tokyo tower! (10m higher than the eifeltower) 5/5
"Excellent location, service and value."
The Tokyo Prince Hotel is a great hotel. We had a large king room with stunning 10th floor views of Tokyo, a window that actually opened all the way, excellent turn down service and all for just above two American c-notes. We were just minutes away from many interesting landmarks and touristy destinations. We were there the night after new years, 2 […] 011/12. Lisez la suite
"Good old-fashioned hotel at the heart of Tokyo"
All in all excellent, except that the coil spring bed was hard and old. Couldn't rest well over night.
"Prince"
Good points: Reasonable price in a city of overpriced hotels Next to Tokyo tower and Minato Ku parks so good for just walking around sight seeing. (that area has lots of history and parks). View from Tokyo tower side is amazing. Close to monorail and Haneda airpots transport links Clean and decent room size for Japan Staff spoke reasonable english for […] a local hotel chain Down side: Not really close to any station so you have to be prepared to walk a bit and person good at directions. if you taxi to the near stations etc your costs blow as taxis are expensive. Only one english TV station - CNN, so if your going to spend time in your room bring your laptop or you will get bored. Unbelieveable in todays world japanese hotels have minimal to no English TV channels where most countries have dozens to select from. I didnt try to breakfast but probably over priced. Walk to a coffee shop if you want to save money old hotel kept clean. Lisez la suite

"Tokyo Prince Thumbs UP"
We enjoyed 7 nights at Tokyo Prince and highly recommend the spacious rooms. You can tell this slightly dated hotel was once the toast of Tokyo. It is set on huge grounds and has an old charm about it. We were extremely happy with the price :) and it turned out to be a perfect place to base ourselves and hop on and off the Subway to see all the sights. […] If you want bright lights and hussle and bustle this is not the place to stay...it's like a calm relaxed quite neighbourhood hidden in the sea of craziness that is Tokyo! Some great restaurants in a short stroll, Temple next door, Tokyo Tower around the corner...Just fantastic. Lisez la suite
"ok for the price"
United States standard size room. Clean and tidy, but hotel needs updating. Elevators were slow and rooms look like they are from the 80"s. 5 blocks from JR line station. But is in a good area close to restaurants and some convenient stores. Good for what you are paying for.
"Great Location"
This is a great location at a good price. I would definitely stay there again.
"The Tokyo Prince Hotel looks unclean"
we don't recommend to stay at this hotel cause of unclean and it is far away from restaurant and subway.
"Just next to Tokyo Tower and subway station"
We had a good stay at Tokyo Prince Hotel especially with a view of the Tokyo Tower from our room window. Although the room is a bit old, it is big and comfortable. It also has all the basic amenities. The Tokyo Tower is just 2 mins walk from the hotel. One of the subway exits is just next to the hotel's carpark which makes it very convenient for us […] to move around. The hotel also provides a shuttle to the nearest JR station. Although the hotel front desk staff and concierge are helpful but they could be more friendly and serve with a smile. When we ask about the free shuttle to the JR station, they could have told us to reserve our seats. When we tried to take the shuttle in the morning, we were told there are no seats for us since we did not make a reservation. Lisez la suite

"GREAT!!"
It was great. They met me before i even walked into the door to take my bags. The person at the desk was able to give great directions and the bell boy was a darling. Very sweet and very courteous. Location was amazing you could see the Tokyo Tower from your window.

"Great location, clean room, friendly staff."
The rooms are quite dated, but they're very nice and a good size. Bigger than other double rooms I've stayed in in Japan. The laundry service is top notch, and my room had an awesome view of Tokyo tower. Checkout time wasn't until noon either—an all round great hotel.
Close to Tokyo Tower and subway stations, If you don't mind some walking Roppongi and some other interesting sites not too far away. A bit too far from places to eat.. Hotel staff pleasent and very helpful.

"Prince among men."
All hotels should be this good. Best choice for Tokyo. 5 minute walk to train station. Incredible view of Tokyo Tower. Great neighborhood & restraunts. Hotel next to Zojo-ji Temple. 1000yen credit per night for reusing towels and bedding, nice bonus! Perfect home base for use with JR rail pass.

"Only OK"
It was alright but I wouldn't stay there again. Hotel guests have to pay for the pool. The hotel wasn't as modern as it seemed on the website. It was very eighties.

"Great room, good walking area"
The room type was very large and comfortable if somewhat dated. The people were always service oriented and cheerful. The local area is an excellent location for walking during free time. However, the nearest subway line (Mita line)was not well connected for my purposes. It was better to walk a few blocks to town and take the Yamanote line or one of […] the subway lines out of Daimon station. Taking Mita line to Otemachi station required an 800 meter walk to get to Marunouchi line and go back one stop to Tokyo station. Lisez la suite
"Affordable & Reasonable"
For the price I paid it is not bad
"Famous Hotel but Needs Renovation"
The Tokyo Prince Hotel is well known in Tokyo and is situated within a 5 min walk from the Tokyo Tower. You get a nice view of the Tokyo Tower every time you walk to your hotel which is quite awesome. The good: - Friendly Staff - Next to Tokyo Tower - Well-known brand - Spacious rooms on the 10th floor. (Received free upgrade) - 30 min walk to Roppongi […] Hills in case you miss the last subway. The bad: - Not really next to any shopping or attractions rather than the Tokyo Tower. The only close subway was Onarimon on the TOEI line (which isn't Tokyo Metro). Daimon Station on the TOEI line is also nearby but requires a 20 min walk. - Room furniture and decor is rather old. Could have been the same furniture used since the opening of the Tokyo Prince Hotel. - Charges 1000 yen per day for internet connection. 250 yen per 15 mins if you use the business center computers. Conclusion: For the price I paid I'm pretty glad I stayed at the Tokyo Prince Hotel. At nights it was quiet and there's not much around the area. However you are within walking distance to Roppongi Hills. Lisez la suite
"Great Hotel in Tokyo"
The Tokyo Prince Hotel is the perfect hotel for those looking for a comfortable good size room, very accomodating hotel staff, great location, and a reasonable rate.
"Great room and location for the money"
The hotel's location was great. You could not ask for better location. I was luck to have a room that faced Tokyo Tower. Every night I could see the towers lights. The personel was very friendly and always help full. The hotel was very clear.
"Nicely Located and Reasonably Priced"
Our stay was nice, even though we were noisy, we felt good. We could see the Tokyo Tower. Room had refrigerator and coffee maker (You can store all you want to eat and heat a little cup of tea or coffer and beat the Tokyo's famous 10$ cup of coffee.)
"Great Hotel"
To get to the hotel from the airport you can take a bus for 3000 yen, which is extremely convenient. To get to Tokyo station there are three subway stops within walking distance of the hotel. The rooms themselves are very comfortable, and mine had a view of Tokyo tower, which was directly outside my window. For me, the hotel was extremely good value […] and its location near three subway stops made exploring Tokyo very easy. The staff were also very helpful. Lisez la suite
"Outstanding Hotel"
I chose the hotel for the reasonable price, but it was wonderful. The standard rooms were filled when I got there, so I got upgraded to a very large and luxurious room. The surrounding area included a park, famous temple, and Tokyo Tower. The location near Haneda Airport was perfect for me. The breakfast buffet (extra charge)was delicious, and the internet […] connection (also extra charge) was excellent. Lisez la suite
"Great Hotel"
The hotel was wonderful for the price. It was clean with a wonderful view of Tokyo Tower. The staff here is excellent. Many of them speak English and they are so polite and accomodating. You won't be disappointed staying here. If I ever get to go back to Japan, I would love to stay here again.
"Borderline excellent... with just a little room for updating"
I had a very good stay at the Tokyo Prince; I was particularly pleased to find it was located with a couple of blocks of some very reasonably priced restaurants. The hotel is showing its age, though; the lobby is particularly cold and uninvition, but the rooms are comfortable and clean - and large, for a Tokyo hotel. I can happily recommend it.

"very good -:)"
I am very happy about the Prince Hotel and I will go back again, my room is not small compare with other hotel in Tokyo and the location is very good.
"Not a bad choice"
Clean hotel, service OK, convenient location. Walking distance to Tokyo Tower, World Trade Center and Daimon train station. Easy to get around.
"Very nice hotel"
This is a very nice hotel for the money. Japan is infamous for their small spaces (apts/hotels etc), but the Tokyo Prince has rooms comparable to American sized hotels. They have very good service, our bellhop greeted us at the door, there is a taxi stand waiting outside, and everyone we encountered was very polite. They speak English and there were […] no problems with translation. If you have a JR pass, the closest JR station is Hamamasutcho which is about a 15 minute walk away. The hotel is also walking distance from Roppongi Crossing, about a 25 min walk. It sounds far but its a very easy walk. And it's located next to 2 tourist destinations, the Tokyo Tower and the Meiji Shrine. Overall I was very pleased with this hotel and would recommend it to others. Lisez la suite
"Numerous servicepeople on hand; enormous bedroom for Tokyo"
We were overwhelmed at the door with half-western, half-Japanese style service. The genki bellhops saw us and our bags through the entrance to the check in desk, and then an individial showed us to our room. No tip, though. I uphold the rule that there's no tipping in Japan. Funny story, he took us to the wrong room because he read the wrong numbers. […] It didn't phase me, but he was greatly embarrased. The funny part is, this happened to me at the next hotel in another city as well. Strange coincidence. We've now gone down a couple too many hallways that elicite a nice smile and additional memory in life. Anyways, the room was massive. For what I paid (in Tokyo), I didn't think I would ever have beds or SQ at this scale. The room decor was not impressive enough for any other notes though. Lisez la suite
