Bien pour une nuit...chambre avec le minimum, tv de très mauvaise qualité, petit dej simple, salle de fitness non operationnelle, hôtel ancien.

I expecting a normal but clean hotel for a stop along the road, but it turned out differently. The room we had was gloom with a persistent cigarette scent. We did not feel safe at night, perhaps an impression derived from the lack of general maintenance of the hotel.

Our hotel room was very clean and the room was decorated in fresh colors. Furniture and fixtures were all new. Hotel staff was very friendly. The landscape around hotel was very well taken care of. Hotel lobby was very welcoming and the continental breakfast area was well stocked. Located just minutes from the airport.

The hotel is located few miles from the airport, but does not offer a shuttle. It is a convenient stay if you have a car, either to go to the airport or to dinner. The staff is very nice and they offer a decent breakfast. Very quiet place. Overall, it was a very nice experience.

The bed could be replaced the gym is a joke but service was good and room was clean

The hotel was not horrible, but...I was staying alone and did not feel very safe, a bunch of drunks wandering around and my door did not lock properly. Noises coming from rooms on either side were unbearable. Bed squeaked every time I turned or moved at all. Shower had about 2 minutes of hot water. Location was good, easy to find and get to. clean and comfortable. Close to shopping & 15 min from downtown Albany. However, quality of coffee in rooms horrible. Also, if hotel is advertising the availability of fitness center, they should make sure the machines are working. I went down to workout that morning and not one of the 3 machines were in working order.

I was really good

This Econo Lodge was very adequate for a short stay in the Albany area. It was clean and comfortable. The area had many nearby stores and restaurants and it was near Interstate 87. It was a good deal for the price.

The room was clean and ok but nothing special. The lobby was clean. The center hallway and stairway was in poor condition and not very clean. The breakfast was ok but not great.

Adequate for overnight stay while traveling. Good for sleeping between portions of winter driving trip. Older facility. Wouldn't want to stay for several days. Heating system needed upgrading. Fan ran all night.

The outdoor hallways were a little messy and a window was broken. Overall just what i needed (locked door, bed, shower, wifi and breakfast) for a great price.

I wasn't expecting much. To my surprise, room was clean, decent size with reasonably updated bathroom. BUT the mattress sucked - in room 120. I hardly slept all night. When you travel away, one thing you expect is ability to sleep, but when the entire bed shakes when you turn at night, you can forget about any sleep.

Door lock wasn't secure, but I felt okay enough to sleep. Next time I'll ask for a different room

We stay one night so we can drop off our son at SUNY Albany. It is like 5 minutes drive from the campus. Nothing fancy just clean, nice size double bed room. Non smoking with no cigarette odor. The TV color was lousy and almost unwatchable. other than that, the continental breakfast was surprisingly good. We would defintely stay there again.

lumpy beds

This was our second time staying at this hotel/motel. They are in the process of renovating all of the rooms so some rooms are very outdated. The rooms are on average clean but we did have to change rooms due to animal urine smell and bugs in one room. We booked on hotels.com and even though the reservation said that we would have a fridge, microwave […] and coffee machine, we were advised that these did not come in every room and that the specific rate that we booked did not have these mentioned appliances. There is a huge difference between the renovated Jacuzzi rooms and the double bed standard rooms. There is wifi in the hotel but it was intermittent at best. We had better luck hooking into the wifi from the Comfort Inn and Suites which is right beside. Lisez la suite

We were in town for a dog show. I don't know why motels assume you don't need a clean room just because you're traveling w/ a dog or pet. The edges of the room were filthy. There was drippy stuff running down the wall. The toilet had to be flushed many times. The Kleenex cover was rusty. I picked up the phone to ask for a wake-up call, and lo' and behold, […] the phone had been ripped out of the wall. I informed mgmt my 1st day - they fixed it on our last day. Don't plan on ironing while someone blow drys their hair either - we blew a fuse 3 x's. We arrived around midnight after driving 11 hrs.only to encounter a clerk that was more concerned about charging me the $40 pet fee than getting me into a room. He kept me in the motel lobby for over a half hour while he tried to run the charge multiple times only to give up and say he wasn't sure how to do it. The motel is in a convenient location in a safe part of town close to the highway. The air conditioner worked well. Lisez la suite

We arrived around 9pm, front desk lady was doing my checkin with an attitude, then an man entered, she called him by name, apparently, they know each other, seems he stayed there a lot. Then she started doing his checkin, not even saying anything to me! So I walked out to take my luggages out, to put in the lobby to carry to our rooms later, which actually […] we shouldn't since the rooms are accessed from outside. She didn't tell us that until almost everything was out of the car. She watched us the whole time! Definitely not like her. But it's late, we just there for a stop, the room was clean, comfort, so we didn't say anything. If not that front desk lady, everything could be 4 stars. Lisez la suite

This hotel is an excellent value. Very helpful staff. Clean modern rooms. Great rates. Highly recommend.

The location is good because it is close to everything. However, the rooms are smelly. The female staff who was on duty had a dead pan face. No greetings, no smile, no anything. Would not recommend it to anyone.

I don't like plastic covered beds, room was ok, breakfast should add some fruit and if you offer water - please don't refill it with tap water - and have it labeled as deerfield water - one can taste the difference.

The hotel was very clean. The only issue I had was that the room had no alarm clock for some reason. I did schedule a wake up call, but I was so worried that it was not going to work that I woke up several times in the night. The free breakfast was decent.

Everything is good except that there is no refrigerator, microwave, or coffee maker. The bed is very comfortable. Perfect for people who just want to have a nice sleep.

The rooms were very large and the price could not be beat. Our family stayed one night. It was very adequate for our needs.

Everything was great! The only thing was that I asked for a non smoking room, but it still smelled ...its not the hotels fault ..the guests are the ones to blame otherwise everything was great!

This was well worth the money. I usually stay in 2 1/2 and 3 Star hotels, but couldn't get one for under my budget. Took a chance on this one to save alot of money, it was agreat decision. This hotel was very conveniently located and close to the airport and shopping. This was a very economical choice for a 1 night stay to catch an early flight the next day.
