C'est le grand éditeur William Randolph Hearst qui a fait construire le Warwick en 1926. Il s'agissait d'un cadeau à sa bien aimée Marion Davies et à tous leurs amis acteurs. Aujourd'hui, le style hollywoodien d'antan est encore visible. Des cocktails en tous genres sont préparés au Randolph, un salon dont le décor est indémodable et qui comprend des canapés et fauteuils très confortables. Des peintures murales qui datent de 1937 se mélangent à des éléments plus récents au Murals on 54. Le Chef Robert Hohmann vous propose un petit déjeuner américain traditionnel et un brunch avec sandwiches et plats chauds plutôt originaux. L'espace fitness du 3ème étage est équipé de vélos d'appartements, tapis roulants, poids et haltères. Un service de voiturier est assuré moyennant un supplément.
Les 359 chambres et les 67 suites du Warwick sont décorées avec soin et comprennent une salle de bain en marbre, une télévision par câble avec chaînes thématiques et une connexion Wi-Fi (en supplément). Il est possible de dîner dans la chambre 24 heures sur 24.

Hôtel agréable, petit déjeuner servit de 6h30 à 9h30 correcte (ne pas arriver trop tard), station de métro ( 39 Av ) à 3min à pieds qui vous mène en 9min à la 5ème Avenue. Chambre spacieuse et bien équipée.

Nous recommandons fortement cet hotel. Super vue sur manhattan, terrasse exceptionnelle sur les toits..fabuleux !!! les chambres sont très cosy, propres, vraiment rien à redire. C'était parfait. les alentours de l'hotel sont effectivement surprenants (zone industrielle) mais peu importe la qualité, le service, la vue nous font, tout de suite, oublier les environs. Même si nous ne sommes dans manhattan même, aucun souci de transport.....en 10 minutes grand max nous y sommes. c'est très bien desservi et en plus il y a une navette qui peut nous amener au centre de manhattan. Vriament nous recoomandons vivement cet hotel et si c'était à refaire nous y retournerons sans problème! c'est fabuleux !!!!

"Pas à la hauteur mais bien situé"
Hôtel au service très moyen mais très bien situé. A deux minutes de central park, broadway, 5th avenue et time square. Salle de restaurant trop petite pour nous accueillir au petit déjeuner. Pour éviter l'attente, nous sommes allés ailleurs. Pas de mini bar dans la chambre. Piqures d'insectes la nuit.

"Warwick Hotel: au coeur de Manhattan"
Nous avons profité d'une chambre vaste et confortable au 21 ème étage: deux fenètres avec vue (sur la 54th street et la 6th avenue) et balcon. A quelques rues de Central Park et du MOMA. Proximité de plusieurs lignes de métro et du Metropolitan Museum, de la Neue Gallerie ou du Musee des Sciences Naturelles. Accueil assez neutre (indifférent ?) mais […] rien de négatif. Un bon point de chute après de longues journées de marche (et de métro) de Manhattan à Brooklin. N'hésitez pas à profiter des navettes hotel - aéroport (moitié prix qu'un taxi) organisée par l'hotel. Excellente situation de cet hotel à taille humaine. Chambres calmes et confortables. Seules réserves : une salle de bain microscopique pour une chambre et une vue aveugle pour l'autre chambre.

"Not a full view mirror"
In general the room was fine but it needed it a full view mirror in the room. I was with my husband and my daughter and had to wait for the bathroom to be free. My daughter sat on the floor to use the little mirror in the tv cabinet. We got late for dinner. The service at the restaurant for breakfast was terrible.

My girlfriends and I stayed at the Warwick for the long weekend. We were all very satisfied with this hotel, we had no complaints and I would definitely stay here again. We had 2 twin rooms with interior view (looking into a wall) but that did not matter because the interior rooms were VERY QUIET and even with the jet lag (flying in from Europe) we […] slept like babies:-) The room was spacious, very clean and the beds were so comfortable, and the best; they had a duvet/down quilt which I like since I come from chilly Norway. The bed pillows were also very nice (a little big for me) but if you don´t like it you can ask for a smaller/softer pillow. Every day we got a 15 min free of charge internet access in the lobby and boarding passes can be printed free of charge. I did not eat at any of the restaurants so I can´t comment on them but they both looked nice. Last but not least - the staff was nice and friendly and the location is PERFECT!!! "Disappointing. Not very clean."
The bathroom was very dirty--an abandoned band-aid stuck in the tub, long strands of hair in the basin. I was treated well by the staff, but I saw them in action with other guests and they were downright combative. Room service was excellent. The hotel feels shabby--time to renovate it, I think.

There is the saying, 'location, location, location' and the Warwick is central to all that we wanted to see and do. The hotel is a perfect place to stay and our room was extremely comfortable, well appointed, clean and visually enjoyable to occupy. "The Warwick Hotel in NYC"
I was disappointed to say the least. Upon arrival everyone was polite, then off to our room. The window was open, a tale tell sign that something was amiss. After unpacking and preparing for our evening we noticed a sour odor next to the bed (need I explain). They had us pack and moved us to another much smaller room. The deed of unpacking began and […] the manager came and told us we were changing rooms once again, at his insistence, to give us the more spacious accommodations we had paid for. He offered us free buffet breakfast. Needless to say we were late for our evening of dinner and then a Broadway show. The next morning we discovered that their electrical service was still from the 50's and could not handle the use of our electrical blow dryer and blew the fuse twice, with 20 minute delays. Just when we thought things couldn't get worse we checked out and discovered that our car was valet parked in a construction zone and was covered in dust and construction debris. The managers answer was to comp the valet parking fee. This was a horrible experience and the only way I would go back and give them a second chance is if I was completely compensated. Lisez la suite

For the price, I've stayed in a lot nicer hotels with better amenities. The staff was friendly and helpful. The location was great. Just blocks away to everything. However, parking is extremely expensive. I had emailed the hotel to ask how much parking would cost us, and was told $45 a day. However, when I arrived it was $55 because I was driving a […] crossover instead of a small car. The room was nice, but not great. "wonderful hotel"
The warwick is by far my favorite hotel in New York. It is lovely and steeped in history and tradition. The staff is always helpful and accomodating. It is a great value for the money. I highly recommend this hotel.

A beautiful, vintage looking hotel. It not only was charming, but just a walk away to Central Park, Times Square, 5th Ave. shopping. Plus, the staff was extremely nice and helpful with all our questions. I would stay there again, no question. The bathroom looked recently renovated, but still with old world charm.

The location could not have been better. Quiet and yet near Times Square, East Side shopping, perfect for MOMA visitors. Randolph's bartender could use a lesson in cocktail mixing. All else fantastic.

This is a classic sedate hotel close to 5th Ave, across from the MOMA. Very nice to escape the bustle of the city -not too far from Times Square ,but a world away in classiness.

Incredible location very close to Central Park, Times Square, MoMA, 5th Avenue and other places of great interest. The hotel itself is very convenient. I was very lucky since I got a corner room with a wonderful view along 6th Avenue.

My boyfriend and I are very picky at where we stay. I worked near the Warwick and always wanted to stay there. So valentines day was they day I chose! What a great experience! My boyfriend was completely surprised and overall we had an amazing time. The door man was so nice and friendly an very attentive. The room service was so friendly as well and […] quick with whatever we ordered. Bathroom was a little small BuT who cares its not like we were sleeping there. We are definately staying here again. Really enjoyed staying here. We asked 4 a twin double room as our adult son was with us. The room was perfect, could not fault it at all. We would definitely stay here again.

We loved this Hotel and it's location, the only thing we did not like was that they charged us extra each night for a roll away that was not comfortable at all.
This hotel is first rate in accommodations, service, cleanliness, and location. The bar is very sophisticated and the bartender remembered us from previous stays. So the personnel are as fine as any we have encountered even thru our travels abroad. Definitely our go to place in NYC!!!

We had to make last minute reservations for New York in December and were very concerend about room rates. The Warwick had great rates and was in a great location. The staff was pleasant and the hotel was charming. The interiors were a little dated but it was clean and very comfortable. For the price we will definitely stay there again!
