Ramada Inn Wilshire - Los Angeles

Hôtel plutôt bien situé ; mais nous avions demandé un lit bébé nous n'en avons pas eu. Bruit épouvantable dans notre chambre située au 4ème étage car juste à côté de la fenêtre il y avait un énorme ventilateur à l'extérieur (toute la nuit impression d'être dans un avion à l'atterrissage). L'hotel ne semble pas entretenu régulièrement (c est un cas général sur NYC). Cependant le prix est interessant, la chambre très correcte avec une machine à café à dispo. Attention aux ascenseurs trèèèèèès lents (prévoir 10 mn d'attente). Métro au coin de la rue. Plusieurs endroits possibles aux abords de l hotel pour le PDJ.

After reading the reviews, I was a little concerned about staying at the Ramada. My concerns were unfounded. The room was neat and clean. We appreciated the refrigerator and the iron and ironing board. The hotel was not far from our conference venue so it was very conveniently located. The service was adequate. I would stay there again.

I often spend the weekend at a local hotel to relax and sometimes work in peace, but had never been to Ramada Inn Wilshire even though it is only about a mile from my house. The front desk agent was nice and polite and my room was comfortable and clean. The only issue I had was that even though the hotel had room service, there was no menu in my room. […] And when I called down to the front desk about 9pm on a Saturday night to inquire about one, there was no answer. I even waited a few minutes and tried again but still no luck, so I just walked across the street to a terrific pizza place called Mr. Pizza. This hotel is ready for an upgrade, rooms are large, full 2 room suite and beds were comfortable. Location was convenient to downtown LA. Everything else was really run down.

Enjoyed our stay,rooms were clean and the beds were comfy.The restarants were all around us,yum-yum.I would stay there again.

If you are looking for a convenient location, this is the place to stay in, but careless and lausy customer service.

1 hour to check in...credit card terminal not working but insisted that the client's card was being declined by his bank, I had prepaid through hotels.com but front desk requested a $50 cash deposit because of the credit card terminal. whole hotel deeply reeks of cigarette smoke. The tv was so old.and barely worked. All the channels were in korean. The walls were so thin that I heard both neighbors party all night. I expected more for what I paid. Really disappointed.

Saw a show at the wiltern and this place was great.

Had an appointment at the Philipine consulate for my wife last week. The hotel was in Korea town which was kind of neat. The neighborhood is not as bad as everyone says. We went walking around late at night and I felt pretty safe. If you are going to the consulate its a good hotel to stay at since you can walk there if you don't mids a little exercize. […] parking is terrible in LA so its worth it..Parking at the hotel is free by the way..The hotel itself is not all that great its kind of old and out dated. If you want a fancy room this is not the hotel for you. If you want a decent room located in the area then this fits the bill. I will most likely stay there again when whe go back to the consulate the next time..If you like Korean women might be the place for you has a resturant/bar inside the hotel that seemed to be rockin..LOL... THE PERSON IN FROM DESK SHE WAS VERY RUDE

Hotel is a place to sleep but not much more. It was a block away from the Wiltern Theater which was a MAJOR plus. If you're looking for the creme de la creme this is the place for you. If it's just to sleep then it's good. I've been in better but it served it's purpose. By the way the room was clean but bed a bit soft. The room smelled so bad we had to go a block away to CVS to buy candles to eliminate the smell! Not hardly any hot water in shower, The air-conditioner did not cool at all, had to open window. night employee is very kind,... but morning employee is very rude... so i'm so unpleasnt... but location, kind security, clean room, is very good....

convenient location for events downtown, $15 cab ride to staples center, no additional charge for parking in a convenient parking garage, room was clean, beds were comfortable, wifi access, no complaints from me about this stay. If you're needing a place to stay near downtown L.A. this one does the trick, it's also close to Hollywood.

Had a chill stay there, clean and comfortable. Good neighborhood as well.

I make regular trips from LV to LA for shows and try to find lodging closest/cheapest to the venue, and this was a mere 3 minutes walking distance from the Wiltern theater. I have really zero complaints, although I think I paid about $40 more than a similar Travel Lodge I stayed at prior in LA, but it's all about location. The room was clean and inviting […] enough, if just a wee bit rough around the corners as expected (there were several holes in the shower curtain, which was just cosmetic & I accidentally booked a smoking room, which was obviously from the smell of cigarettes). My only concern question would be the parking-I snagged the last space in the garage on check-in & the 2nd day there were several vacant spaces, but there didn't appear to be additional parking that I saw-another thing I always check in the reviews. The front desk people are very rude, be prepared for that. The girl told me that I could check in at noon, but when I arrived at 11:45 she told me my room wouldn't be ready until 1. She didn't apologize or anything, and when I came back at 1 she said it would be 1:30 or 2 in actuality. She was not friendly, she did not welcome me or ask me if I needed […] recommendations on places to eat, etc. The hotel is in the heart of Koreatown so be prepared for lots of traffic both from drivers and pedestrians and a lot of small ethnic places to eat. My room was very clean and the maids were very efficient, but the room is nothing special and the walls are not soundproofed at all, you can hear the people around you coughing or snoring all night long as well as the sounds of traffic. There is no continental breakfast offered. The covered off-street parking is a very nice touch but the garage smells like rank garbage. You have to drive about 2 miles of red lights up Western to hit the 101, which is the closest freeway outlet, so you're about 10 minutes from the highway if traffic is light. I'd stay there again because the price was great but it was not a wonderful or memorable hotel. You get what you pay for. Lisez la suite

It was a little hard to figure out where to park - upper or lower. The staff was very helpful.

Good location, hotel room clean, and plenty of places to eat in the area. There is a good taco truck down the street on Wilshire during the evening, which was pretty tasty. And of course, if you like Korean food, really good stuff, all in walking distance. But hotel is worth the price and is located close to everything. attitule of reception are terrible, very cold. The staff of the hotel would not like to give you real local infomaion , in order to convenience you to rent their car. infact the metro are 500 m far from the hotel, however the staff told you there are no any public transpotation near by.

King size non-smoking Pros: -Very quiet (top floor, in the corner) -spacious, clean bathroom -nice staff in person -great room service Cons: -Disgusting pee-stained foldout mattress. Were given 2 sets of sheets to put over it. -Floor kind of grimy -Rude staff over the phone -TV was a piece of garbage

Location is terrible,room is not great at all....Motel 6 have better room then this place and cheaper.....And breakfast what breakfast!!!!!!!!!!

We booked 2 rooms for 2 nights. Never going back again. The rooms were very dirty and the hallways were stinking. The basement garage where we were made to park was very difficult to even walk through. I do not recommend staying in this hotel

It suited our needs of being close to the different sites in Hollywood. Room was spacious and fit our family of 4 comfortably. The bath had a long counter with 2 sinks which was convient. We stayed for just 1 night and got there really late so really it was just a place to rest before getting up the next morning. I was ok with the hotel stay except that I was a little upset when I went for the so called "Complimentary Breakfast." It was not a breakfast. It was only a box (12 inch x 12 inch) full of donuts for ALL hotel guests.

One the bathroom stool was not working right. I called when I checked in but we had to call again the next morning and they did come and fix it. Also I asked for a 5 am wake up call which i needed for an appointment . the call did not come I woke up at 5:45. so I was late for my appointment.

First things first, I will certainly stay here again, and will suggest it to friends. I am from Las Vegas, and I know what a hotel should look like. The room itself was a basic, clean hotel room. The bed was comfy, had plenty of space for two of us and our things. The hotel lobby was very nicely done. Being in Korea Town, it was like being in a different […] culture, which actually made the trip that much more interesting and enjoyable. Everywhere we went around the area catered to the Korean culture, and we were treated quite nice by all. Mr. Pizza across the street had great pizza and nice atmosphere. The movie theater around the corner was very nice, one of the nicest that I have ever seen, you really have to see the bathroom (trust me)! The previews were Korean ads for Korean products, then a couple movie previews that had Korean subtitles. Before the movie started, one of the employees came out and made sure we were all satisfied with everything, bowed, and the movie started. Korean subtitles through the movie. If any part of my review sounds like a complaint, it was not, everything truly added to the stay. The room was basic and clean and I slept comfortably, and the area was quite diverse, like being in another country. If I wanted someplace familiar, I could have just stayed home! Lisez la suite

The room was large and convenient to a nearby place we wanted to go for an appointment. The hotel needs some upgrades but the room was clean. The service wasn't that great. On check-in we asked the front desk if she knew of a restaurant for a certain type of food and she said she didn't know but made no effort to help us with any info where to go. Good location, quiet, clean room and comfortable beds. Everything worked. It was raining and the glass window in our room leaked, but that wasn't a big inconvenience. Biggest issue is there weren't enough linens and it was necessary to go to the front desk to get more. The person at the front desk didn't know what "linens" meant. (-:

The room is clean and good size. We had a suite with a king size bed.
