Shortly after check-in, my wife fell in their parking lot (not the hotel's fault) and broke her leg. Did not spend much time in the room, but it was OK. Bad neighborhood.

Overall, we enjoyed our stay at the hotel. The staff was courteous. The manager's reception was a nice touch. Breakfast was bountiful and delicious. But upon entering our suite in the daytime, it was dark and after turning on the lights, we noticed how dirty the carpet was...there were several large stains. We reserved the executive room which was supposed […] to have 2 bathrobes but there weren't any. We called the front desk and they were delivered within minutes. The atrium is beautiful with several trees and plants and ponds with coi fish and turtles. Free parking is a plus! Lisez la suite

Stayed for 2 days on a business trip. The hotel quality was so bad we decided to move early. There are many great hotels nearby and no reason to stay here.

Awesome staff! Hot breakfast in the morning. Comfy beds and pillows. Great place to stay. Kids loved the indoor, heated pool.

I called the hotel the day before to check on shuttle service from the John Wayne Airport. They said if I arrived after 10pm, to call the hotel and they'll come pick me up. I arrived at 10pm, called the hotel at 10:04 and they didn't answer. Eh? No answer?? I had to call 6 more times, each time letting it ring 20 +times. When the woman finally answered […] she said "Oh no, the shuttle ends at 10pm." I explained my earlier conversation with the hotel and she just kept saying "no, sorry, the shuttle service ends at 10pm." Not very customer oriented. (In hindsight, I should have asked for the Mrg on Duty.) At this point it was probably 10:10pm. I was not happy about that. I took a cab, the cab driver took me to the other airport embassy suites (I wasn't aware there was two of them & he didn't ask me which one). At any rate, the other Embassy suites (Irvine) was much nicer, their shuttle runs till 11pm. Their shuttle driver took me to the other hotel which is much more dated - probably nice about 30 years ago. This hotel is geared more for family travelers vs. biz travel. At any rate, next time I'll stay at the Irvine location instead (biz travel). One positive note, the bed was very comfortable, toiletries were nice, but shower power, not so great. Lisez la suite

We were greeted poorly by staff to begin the stay. They said it was because I booked through hotels.com and I should have booked directly with Embassy Suites. We did not get the room we booked for two nights we were put in another room where my son had to sleep on two mattresses on the sofa. The room smelled and the cleaning ladies never vacumed the […] room or mopped the bathroom the entire 8 night stay. The morning breakfast was good and we appreciated the Manager's Happy hour in the eening but the snacks were not that good. I am a Hilton Honors Member and I was very disappointed with the hotel overall. It could be an awesome hotel because I am sure it has history. The Atrium area was nice but dirty and they had to put a tarp over walkways because when it rained, it leaked all over. We were really disappointed. Lisez la suite

This was a very nice stay. Only complaints was parking was diffcult at times and road construction across the street was a noisy at 6 a.m.

I always come to this ES. By far the best happy hour snacks and breakfast ever. Only disappointing thing, they changed their restaurant menu and no longer carry the calamari. Super upset over that since it was my fav. Good amount of food places within a few mile radius.

Decent price with lots of included extras. Free shuttle to airport, full breakfast, pool, exercise room, computer room with printers. Car rental on premises.

A beautiful hotel, both inside and out. Easy access to freeway and to all near by "must-see" sights. Near the Orange County Airport, but not so close that you could hear airport noise. A daily delicious made to order breakfast buffet and a nightly reception included in room rate. Beautiful in-door pool and spa. An exercise room adjacent to the pool […] with a variety of modern machines and some free weights. It was nice to have a hotel offer a managers reception nightly with a 2 drink hosted bar and a decent assortment of snacks which was also included in the room rate, as this hotel did. Staff was helpful. We had a booking glitch and the front desk did their best to help sort it out. We would definately stay here again and highly recommend this hotel to all traveling through this area. Lisez la suite

There is an Embassy Suites in Irvine. If you are visiting someone at UC Irvine, this hotel is just as close and less expensive. As always, breakfast was yummy and pool was warm.

During our stay the only charge to the room was once for room service. The room was paid for already, but we found almost $100.00 in charges pending at our bank we got home. We called the hotel and were told they would be dropped and not go through as cleared in a couple of days. Question is why were they there in the first place? The overall hotel is ok but my roommate and I could continuously find an odor when we walked in the room. After the 2 day we noticed and heard dogs barking and we figured out what the smell was - it was dog or cat urine. We were leaving the next morning and didn't bother to complain.

Hotel breakfast and service was very good. Room carpets needs to be changed as they were smelling bad dampness and so do the room. thanks for asking. Khizra Take care.

On New Year ’s Eve they had 3 parties scheduled. This is understandable. But to give up all the hotel guest's parking for the attendees of the party was crazy. 25 to 35 % of the hotel guess had to park in another hotel’s parking space. I went to complain at the front desk and one person behind the desk said its New Year eve you should expect this. You […] should not have moved your car. I said that was absurd and asked it there was an alternate place I could park. He said you just going to have to drive around and have a nice day. I will never stay at embassy suits again. Beautiful Christmas decor. Fantastic service from the waiters in their "fine dining" restaurant. Most of the front desk are very nice especially the males.

when we first got in the room, we realized we had been given one king instead of 2 queens. the staff quickly sent up new keys to another room. the new room was a non-smoking room, but when we walked in, it smelled like smoke. since we were only going to stay for one night and we arrived very late, we did not bother trying to get another room. in the […] morning, we were a bit disappointed with the breakfast. we have stayed at other embassy suites before, and the made to order omlettes are great. also, the lines are usually very efficient. but the omlettes at this one were only half the size and since there was usually only one person who made omlettes and put hot food on the plate, it was very slow. they kept running out of plates, so people who did not want omlettes had to stand in the long line just to get a plate. i would stay some where else the next time or at one of the embassy suites near disneyland. instead. This hotel I would never recommend not because of the bed bug's. Mainly the hotel management they were rude and very unpleasant not helpful the breakfast bar was great and midday drinks they serve you have to have to deal with the bug problem you find out about on day two or three and I would have stayed somewheres else if I could have afforded it and […] to top it off my car was broke into right in front of main doors and where not helpful at all but we didn't let it ruin are Disneyland vacation avoid this hotel if at all possible Lisez la suite

Loved the separate rooms, our kids were able to watch TV in the front room and pull-out the bed at night. The balcony was an added bonus we didn't expect. Don't miss the breakfast and free afternoon cocktail hour. The pool and hot tub were awesome, as was the weight room. The only negatives were The room had a slight bitter oder The room did not allow for wi fi even though it was supposed to be available The shower curtin did not seal the shower allowing for a wet and slick bathroom floor.

nice breakfast and indoorpool

Stayed at this hotel recently with my girlfriend for a week-long visit to Southern California. We were both extremely happy with the room and are already considering coming back around the same time next year. We were checked in promptly by very friendly front-desk staff, where they took time to talk to us and ask us where we were from and the reason […] for our visit. Bed was very comfortable, room-service when ordered was prompt and either exactly on time as to their estimate, or before. Front desk was helpful as well when we needed extra pillows/blankets/etc. The breakfast every morning was wonderful, so many choices! We got there fairly early and always had plenty of seating and things to eat. Unfortunately, never made it to the evening manager's reception though. The only downsides I would mention were that the room got a bit warm at times, due to the fact the hotel has either heating, or A/C depending on temperature, but not both. Also it is noted in the room about that, as well as the fact of if the temperature falls in a certain range, you have neither Heat or Cooling. This was the case, but not much we could do to change that. Only other downside was the traffic noise, being right off a freeway. Was a bit too loud to sleep with our balcony door open, but it might not bother some people as much. Construction equipment woke us up on our very last day quite early, but not an issue the rest of the week. Overall, loved this hotel and would love to return and visit again, for a week or longer! This is a great place to stay for a business trip - it's close to John Wayne Airport and the freeway and the rooms all have free wi-fi. However, it is not in a touristy location so don't expect to find restaurants, entertainment, or shops within walking distance. We had three of us on our trip, so, figured we'd book a 2 queen + sofa sleeper at the Embassy Suites. Check-in was quick and easy, followed up by the Manager Reception, which had some tasty treats and drinks. The room was large, two queen beds in the back bedroom with the sofa sleeper upfront. The only negative to the room was that it appeared that […] they made the back bedroom larger by taking away from the bathroom. The immediate surrounding area is all hotels and then industrial, right off of the freeway. Breakfast was made to order the next morning downstairs. Very delicious. Easy on/off freeway access. Stayed here for a family event in the area. Comfortable and clean room. Friendly staff. Rooms did not have thermostat you could control and hot tub was smal for such a large property. Tried to use hot tub a couple of times but was always full. Great breakfast and happy hour.

We had a wonderful family reunion and stay at this Embassy Suites. There were several families combined, and everyone from the kids to adults had a wonderful time here. Thanks to Esther and Regina for taking the stress out of a potentially fristrating situation!! We WILL be back, thanks to both Esther & Regina.

It's easy to see that when this property was new, it was a shiny gem. Now it's more of a dull marble. The arcane HVAC system allows only heat or air conditioning to function throughout the building depending on the season. There is no provision to operate just the fan to circulate air or generate white noise. Due to this, I found excessive moisture, […] and the associated smell, to be a problem during my stay. Opening the (unscreened) door to the (tiny) balcony allowed some warm, fresh air from outside to enter, but the traffic noise from nearby CA-55 was deafening. Closing the door muffled most of the traffic noise but it was definitely noticeable. The room was clean, although the three boxes of baking-soda-based air freshener stuffed into the air conditioner cabinet suggested the staff knew about the moisture/odor problem and was going for a quick workaround instead of a permanent fix. The bed was quite comfortable and the towels plush and clean. The pool area was just OK; towels were provided and the pool was nice, but the spa lacked any real jets or bubbles, more of just a hot, shared bathtub. The dry sauna is apparently out of commission permanently, but this singular island of dryness would have been welcomed. The evening reception and hot breakfast were among the better of any hotel's included amenities. This, combined with the free parking, still make this property one of the better values in the area. A few tips: the ice machines are located outside through the fire exit/stairwell doors on each floor. Also, the three elevators at the rear of the property will provide a shorter wait time than the two at the front. Overall, I would stay here again, but I am better prepared and won't expect to be impressed. Lisez la suite

My family stayed at this hotel for two nights, and we were very pleased with all the services provided. The hotel courtyard was lush and cool, with a stream (stocked with Koi and turtles), waterfalls and tropical plants. We ate at the hotel restaurant the first evening; each entry was well prepared and the service was quick and attentive. We liked all the amenities, the reception, the breakfast, the pool and the comfortable bed. Our grandkids visited briefly and loved the Koi fish, the receptions and the glass elevators. Definitely a revisit hotel.
