"Days Inn Vancouver Downtown"
Hotel sans charme spécial, mais très plein placé en plein coeur de Vancouver et entre les quartiers les plus touristiques.

"Disappointed in Vancouver"
I was not happy with my experience and will likely not return.
was ok first and last
"Great room and location"
The room was awesome- two double beds, with a door in between. Spacious and clean. It's a bit old, though, especially the bathroom fixtures. The front desk staff were very friendly and informative. The only problem I could see was the elevator. In order to call it to the lobby you have to swipe your card and the reader is apparently very old. Be prepared […] for some frustration. Also the carpet in the halls are kind of stinky. But overall, it's a great location and we were VERY pleased with the hotel. Lisez la suite
"Cozy and Convenient for Winter Business Travel"
I stayed at the Days Inn Downtown in Vancouver for my first business trip to Vancouver. I traveled alone, and found the hotel conveniently located near the Sky Train exit and entrance, the Convention Center, Gastown, Stanley Park and Robson Street. I showed up three hours ahead of schedule and was able to check in immediately. This is a budget hotel […] and the room was small, but the bed was comfortable, the hot water worked well, and there was an in-room heating/air conditioning unit. The mini refrigerator was great for storing leftovers from meals out as needed. The hotel also provided complimentary bottled water and wireless internet service (wired internet service is available as well, but be sure to bring your own ethernet cord). All in all, great value and a comfortable stay. Lisez la suite
"Good downtown location"
Hey, we needed an affordable location in Vancouver. This place was no frills, Clean and in a great location. Two blocks from the water. Also close to the Sky train depot to the airport.
"Days Inn =("
I was extremely unsatisfied with this hotel. I have stayed in other hotels for cheaper and have had a way better experience. The room was very small (definitely looked nothing like the pictures in the ad), the outlets didn't work, there were stains on the bedding, the window faced the side of a building, the water pipes made a horrible noise when they […] were turned on, and the walls were paper thin. I probably would have gotten more sleep on the street! I'm usually not a super picky person, a bed is a bed, but I feel ripped off. I will not be staying at a Days Inn again. Lisez la suite
"Mostly good - a few annoyances"
This downtown hotel is comfortable and well-situated. I had three issues that I did not address with the hotel as I was staying briefly: - the TV didn't work - the heating unit made a horrible loud noise - the shower head made a loud squealing noise (and I could hear the same from one other room) I'm sure these could be remedied with a bit of attention. Service […] in the restaurant was friendly and quick. The menu is basic. Lisez la suite
"Days Inn Vancouver near Convention Center"
Personnel are super nice and helpful, but hotel is old, rooms are small, no windows (they open onto another wall), no good heating or air conditiong, threadbare carpets, peeling wallpaper and non-working soap dispenser. Had to get the safe turned on. Nice to have a refridge though.
"good value for famlies"
My two young daughters and I stayed at the Days Inn in Vancouver while i attended a professional conference The staff was wonderfully friendly, the room was clean, and with young children I appreciated having a mini fridge and microwave. It is near reasonably, kid-friendly restaurants.
"tiny room, comfy bed, good location"
I stayed here for a conference that was located at Canada Place. The location was great- it was a close walk to Canada Place, Gastown, Chinatown, Robson, Granville, etc., but was not in the heart of the nightlife, so it was quieter when it was time for bed. The room was very small- there wasn't even room to put a suitcase out of the luggage rack. Also, […] for some strange reason there was a window in the bathroom through to the bedroom area. Still the beds were very comfortable, the bathroom was nicely done, it was clean, and all but one new employee were knowledgable and helpful. Even with the bathroom-to-bedroom window and lack of overall space, I would readily stay here again. Lisez la suite

"W Pender Days Inn Bad for Parking"
Everything was great for the hotel, PERFECT if you dont have a car, BUT if you do, then be prepared to park 2 blocks away, in secured underground parking, go up the elevator to another building lobby, go outside, walk two blocks, THEN enter your Hotel! No car = Great Car = TERRIBLE!
Other then the broken nob in the shower and the room being very cold it was awesome
"central to many venues and transit"
convenient and very supportive staff, clean and well maintained despite it is simple.
"Great value, central location"
Great location, clean, comfortable.
"What's the deal with the key cards?"
This hotel was excellent: Convenient, clean, and comfortable. The only complaint I have--and it is a fairly big one--is that during our stay we had continual problems with the key cards. We sometimes had to insert our cards into the reader up to 10 times before we would finally get the green light so we could enter our room or call the elevator. The […] front desk even changed my card twice to try and get me one that would work. It was a big irritation to an otherwise lovely stay. I would definitely stay here again, but I'm begging you, Days Inn Vancouver Downtown, please fix the card readers! Lisez la suite
"Great for a short (inexpensive) stay"
The location of this hotel is great. Most attractions in downtown Vancouver are either within walking distance or a very short cab ride away. Location also feels very safe and secure at night. The hotel itself is by no means plush. The room was very small and the traffic noise from the street-facing room was fairly loud. The shower was TINY! I could […] barely bend over to wash my feet and the shower head was about shoulder height for me (although I am pretty tall at 6'5"). Luckily I was only there for 1 night and I think for a stay that short the value is unbeatable. I basically just needed a place to crash and it served the purpose well. Would not recommend for a longer stay or if you are looking for something romantic or charming. Lisez la suite

"A short one nite stay"
Just parking was a little bit far to walk with any luggage and it was a little of a maze finding way back to hotel from parkade.

"fabulous location for folks using public transit"
Great hotel for all downtown sights. Tip - request a room with the up-dated bathroom, however only shower stalls no tubs. Great staff

Will try to stay elsewhere next time, did not feel worth the money. The rooms are outdated and it generaly feels worn, not fresh. The water in the shower was fluctuating hot and cold while showering. I tried using a phone card from the room and the phone was old and the numbers were sticky so I had to repeatedly press numbers. Cheap old phone! (carefull […] what phone cards you buy because you need to buy one where you can use a toll free number, I had to use the Vancouver based phone number to access the phone card, which meant I would be charged in my room). I ended up going to use a pay phone to use my phone card. I have stayed in other hotels in Vancouver where they include free calls throughout North America, which was very convenient and more service oriented than these other hotels that make you pay for local calls! "Simple Sweet and Accomodating"
Rooms are small, architecture is dated. Old but quaint. Location is right smack on downtown which is great! Price is affordable for being in downtown Vancouver!

"Days Inn Vancouver downtown"
AOK for the bucks
"Day's Inn Vancouver Downtown"
a really run down hotel. It can be a long wait for the 1 elevator. Very basic facility.
"Great location, decent price"
Hotel rooms small, but very close to Waterfront sky train station (5 min walk) so that was great. Rooms clean, a little noisy (other guests arriving late at night). A great hotel if you're looking for somewhere cheap, clean and convenient. Would stay here again.

"central location"
good spot walking distance to gastown in one direction and stanley park in the other
"Excellent Budget Hotel"
Room clean, and service at the reception desk very good.
"Downtown access to EVERYTHING"
Gastown, Stanley Park, Granville Island and GRANDVILLE STREET WEEKEND NIGHTS. All within walking distance. (you might want to drive to Granville Island). I'm 52 years old and Grandville Street on a Friday night was FANTASTICK. If you are too old for the nightclubs, as I am, the people, sights and street entertainment was worth being a part of. Something […] for everyone. Lisez la suite

"good location"
Seems like there are no inexpensive hotels in Vancouver, but this one is less expensive than most. Room was small but fine, good location.
"Days Inn Vancouver downtown"
This is nice small hotel in a superb location downtown Vancouver. Compared to the general high price levels in Vancouver, this hotel is also very reasonably priced. My room was quite small with a view to adjacent brick wall but quiet and clean. Thus I would recommend this hotel to singles and couples whose primary idea is to see the extremely nice city […] of Vancouver and don't care to spend extra time in the hotel. Lisez la suite
"Days Inn Downtown Vancouver"
The hotel is ok. I was surprised and disappointed to learn that my reservation through Hotels.com did not include breakfast. The stay was very expensive and I expected to receive breakfast for what I paid.
"Vancouver Days Inn: Good Room, Great Location"
Vancouver Downtown Days Inn was a good basic clean room, nice Coffee shop below and Pub adjacent. The key for me was it was only 2 blocks to the Convention Center.
