"Excellent location for walking tours"
Enjoyed my stay at this fine Hotel. The rooms I've stayed in during my two visits have had an interior view to the atrium in the mall. Lots of sunlight with complete privacy of the mirrored glass.

1 réponse par Delta Edmonton-Centre Suite HotelI was dissappointed in number of things.On arrival a dog was running unleashed on my floor and his owner playing ball with him.Tv remote was dirty sticky and dying batteries.The wireless phone in the room was real old very dirty a homeless person would not want to have it his place.The bath room tub has spots old dirty and the drain cap was not in its […] place.I struggled to put it back on so i can bath ,it got stock ,there was no sign how to release it & while i was in the shower i had to leave it fast to avoid flood in my room and my body was still soaked in soap.In this hotel I had a bad experiance wont forget in a long time. I am sorry for the challenges you experienced. While we are aware the tubs are showing their age I can assure you that we do clean them. I have forwarded your comments regarding the other cleanliness challenges to housekeeping so that they can take another look at the phones. You did not mention in your review whether or not you contacted maintenance regarding the plug so that they could fix it for you. I will however forward your comments to our maintenance team so that they can take an extra look at the plugs in the guest rooms while they do their routine room sweeps. We called 7 times throughout a 2 hour span and the staff failed to act and even attend the floor. The noise continued and was not dealt with at all. The rest of the visit was […] fine. "Deta Edmonton Center Suite Hotel"
Staff was very friendly and helpful, especially when we had left something behind after checking out. They found it and we were able to pick it up the next day. The surrounding neighborhood leaves a little to be desired in the clientelle that hangs around but that is similar in most inner city locations. Having the shopping mall attached was unique […] and made avoiding the weather very handy. As with most downtown hotels in any major city, parking is expensive and not including in the accomodation rate, thus a great deal on the room rate was in the end only a good rate when the parking was added in. "As central Edmonton as it gets!"
Clean and modern building. Rooms are extremely quiet with a decent sized entrance room. Cool wall to ceiling glass window looking into the City Center Mall. Cute shops, downtown entertainment and endless amounts of resturants are all within walking distance and plenty of shortcuts through the mall on the cold days. Great, welcoming and helpful staff. A bit hard to find with the location being in a mall and on a one way street. Parking not included, so that was a disappointing addition to the rate. Room was fine, super comfortable bed and I was upgraded without asking, nice touch. Another nice touch was FREE wireless, which you don't see much of traveling to different […] hotels. First time staying there, we were very impressed at how quiet it was, even though we were right down town we never heard traffic, sirens just the odd people in the hallway when they went by. The location was great the staff was friendly, we will stay there again.

This was our first time using this delta centre hotel and it was just perfect for everything we required for the weekend the location and convenience was awesome and if my wife has anything to say ladies it was fantastic for the shopping convenience. In fact i have been told i can book that hotel again anytime hahahaha
Altough its in the city the hotel is not easily accessible. From parking to the rooms was very difficult. Staff was not too helpful. I was very disappointed with the facilities. The room was very small to what we paid fo

only down side is there was some marks on the walls which would be easy to fix so I am not sure why they weren't fixed. Other wiser room was perfect got a free upgrade to a suite little excessive for a room for one night but it was a wonderful gesture.

We were upgraded and enjoyed the room very much. It was on the top floor and there was some sort of compressor that made a very loud sound for most of the day. I did not like that there wasnt elevators on both sides of the hotel, it was a long walk around every time you left or needed ice.
Our property was originally designed as an office tower which explains our wider corridors as well as the layout of the guestroom floors. Please request a room closer to the elevators the next time you are with us and we will do our very best to accommodate. I have also shared the compressor noise issue with our maintenance teams as well as the mall so that they can look into it further. Thank you for bringing it to our attention. Everyone was very friendly, the front desk staff remembered my name after I had checked in, the room service was good, the arrived when they said they would and wonder of wonders for room service the food was […] pipping hot and the drinks, milk and juice were ICE cold, never happens. Room service was always able to accomadate my unusual requests.Only complaint, a very smalll one. On Sunday afternoon when I ordered room service, the voice mail said they were delivering orders. After a wait of 20 min. or so I called again and got the same message. I then contacted the front desk and they said they were closed for a couple of hours and transfered me to the resteraunt where they were more than happy to fill my breakfast order. It was delivered promptly,as always. I had no contact with housekeeping, but the room was always done up while I was out. One small complaint was that when I arrived in the room for the first time on check in it smelled very highly of perfume or room freshener, if I was alergic to perfumes I would have started a reaction very quickly. The temperature was also turned all the way up and the room was very very hot. The scent went away fairly quickly or I got used to it, and I was able to turn the temperature down to an acceptable level and it was fine in a couple of hours. We first visited Delta city centre in December 2011 for a birthday weekend, and were very happy with our room and the weekend overall. When it came to Valentines weekend 2012, we thought we would go there again, but were sadly dissappointed. The room was shabby, half cleaned, and there was a childs playpen in the middle of the living room, even though […] we didn't have children. We were on floor 4, which has the fitness room, and were treated by teenagers running laps of the floor for most of the time we spent in our room. We asked at the time of reservation and at the rime of check in whether we needed to make reservations for dinner, and were told absolutely not. We went to the restaurant, as they were advertising a 5 course Valentines special dinner. We waited 10 minutes to be seated, and were then seated in the middle of 2 families with children. There were several empty candlelit tables for 2, so I asked if we could be moved and we were told they were "far too busy for that". We decided to leave and go to the bar area instead in the hope of some peace and quiet. We sat for over 30 minutes, and not one person came and took our order. We then decided, as the evening was already spoiled, to get room service. We ordered room service, which came without any cutlery, by the time they came back with it the food was cold. On checking out, we completed the survey, and were contacted by the hotel offering a free dinner for our poor treatment. Upon consideration, we decided to give them another chance in the hope that we could get another experience like the one we had initially. Sadly, although our food at the restaurant was taken care of, it wasn't great. I specifically requested at the time of book in to not to be put on floor 4, but they tried to check me in to that. We were put on floor 7, but the room was shabby to say the least. The jet tub was not something anyone would want to bathe in, andf the decor was shabby and tired. Not somewhere we would go again. Overall very good value, excellent location and very easy to access. The tv in the room I had was a antique, round tube screen.

Pleasantly suprised by the hotel. Our room had a large sitting room in addition to the bedroom, and was clean with a view overlooking the mall. The staff were fantastic, and as we were going to the Oiler game suggested that we take the LRT instead of driving and directed us to the churchill station located under the mall. The only concern I had during my stay was the slow wireless internet that was provided to the rooms.

wonderfully clean and comfortable roome. Close to a movie theatre and shopping. I enjoyed the view into the mall.

The room was disgusting dirty and ruin the trip. My wife cried it was so bad. When we checked in the bed were made but there was no toilet paper or towels. On further inspection we found dirty socks under the bed and dirty kleenexs on the floor from the previous tenant. I phoned housekeeping asked for towels and toilet paper and complained about the […] cleanliness of the room. They brought the towels and toilet paper then never cleaned the room until the third day, I guess because I told them the room was dirty. I was polite, civil and calm when I told them about the room conditions, actions I now regret but trust me I will never stay with them again not that they care I'm sure. Lisez la suite

Stayed at the Delta downtown for a Oilers game. Front staff very helpful. They upgraded us to a suite when we arrived. Great service and will stay again.
