I know that you get what you pay for, but it still should be clean and things in good working condition. When we opened the door first thing I noticed was two beds a queen and king in what was suposed be a one king bed jacuzzi suite. The beadspreads didn't even match. I went to put something in the mini frige, the freezer was compleatly frosted over. […] There was no coffee pot as advertised. The bathroom floor was dirty and the tub had a used bar of soap and hair in the tub, needless to say I cleaned it before we used it. There were two lights out in the bathroom and no light bulb in the lamp between the beds, I called to get a buld, two hrs. later I called again and the person at the desk there mantainence person had to go home early. While the cost was low, the furniture was stained and the springs on the bed stuck out, making for a poor nights sleep. I can say the staff was very friendly, but some upgrades are needed. I won't stay here again.

As we walked in -there's a smell like it needed airing out but it was neat but you also wonder if the carpet was vacumn (dark color). Then you see that the drawers are broken, the curtain is torn and does not cover the whole sliding window/door. It's next to the swimming pool so I say not very private and the people outside can see in the room. The […] room was next to the freeway sort of noisy at night. The hotel door, the locking arm was loose and there's a gap between the door and walls. It didn't feel safe. The TV had weird and only 10 channels. The pillows needed to be changed. It was really FLAT (why have a pillow?) The blankets had little holes. It's too bad that the upkeep of the maintenance was not good because the location was great and close to where we needed to be. I did not feel safe in this hotel. There were parties going on in other rooms and we could hear a woman crying out, no, no, no. Strang people walking outside. We wanted a hotel close to airport... I would suggest woodman as a better area.

From what I could tell, the bed & bathroom were clean. Other than that, I was disappointed. The carpet was stained. The curtains were falling down and covered only half the window. The walls looked like they had been patched after some significant damage. It was definitely a low budget place. Nothing good to say about my stay at Heritage Inn Express except for location. I have stayed here numerous times and have never experienced what I did this past weekend. First, my nonsmoking room smelled like smoke; second, the shower handle was broken so if you did not like the temperature of the water..tough. This was after spotting the little curly […] hairs all over the tub. The microwave was broken and after discovering that there was no coffee with our coffee maker, I was informed by the front desk that they were out. Very disappointing to say the least. I booked this room through hotels.com - this was the first time that I had used this service. When I arrived to check in, the girls at the front desk appeared to be more interested in socializing than doing a check in. I was asked for my credit card and told that the amount would be $10 more than I was quoted by Hotels.com. At the time, i did not question […] - maybe I misunderstood something or other charges. It was a very quiet and comfortable night and i was very satisfied with the hotel. I was going to book another night, but when I checked my credit card balance, I noticed that Hotels.com and the Heritage Inn had both charged my card for that evening. 9in addition, i learned that i was a victim of credit card fraud and my account had been drained). I called the front desk and the gentleman who answered the phone explained to me that my card should have never been run, and he would be happy to refund the amount back to my card. i explained my situation with the fraud, and asked if there was any way to just use one of those charges for another night. he very graciously agreed and still refunded the difference between what hotels.com and the Heritage Inn charged. His helpful attitude and customer service skills really helped a potentially bad experience become a positive one. Lisez la suite

They were having a "Hula" convention. They did NOT have our 2-bed, Non-Smoking room as we paid for in our Reservations. We were allowed to "check-in" at 2:15 pm, but couldn't go to our room until 4 pm. When we got to our room, there were NO clean towels. It took several calls & trips to the Front Desk; and finally got 2 clean towels at 9:15 pm. It seemed […] that the minimal staff there were seriously Over-Worked, and they told us they had a "House-Keeping Emergency"... unknown exactly what that was. Lisez la suite

I was very pleasantly surprized by this hotel experience. This hotel was on the level of others in the area that were charging twice the amount for a room. I highly recommend the Heritage Inn as the place to stay in Roseville!

The room was clean and hotel in a convenient location. The beds were uncomfortable. No phone in the room and no shower curtain in the bathtub/shower. Otherwise a decent place to stay for a night.

The hotel was clean, reasonably priced, internet worked in room. Don't know why people are dissing this hotel, it was good for the price.

Was not expecting much but did not expect this. First room given the TV was not functional. second room was already occupied by people the hotel was unaware of. the third room had non functioning TV too and the jacuzzi tub didn't work properly. Cheap and worth it. Minor maintenance issues, but overall, it is a decent place if you are not too picky.

This aging hotel is being kept painted and clean. The furnishings must have come over on the Mayflower...Bed so old that the springs kept me awake most of the night. Sunken bathtub with no safely provision...hard for anyone over 50 to get down in..no handrails. Noisy tenants gathered in groups of 6 to 10 made the hotel look like gang territory. The management had booked a wedding and a party (I think---both hall were overflowing); very congested and noisy no parking,if you left the hotel

What a dump, hotel room smelled, furniture was filthy and appeared to have been picked up from the curb. Other guest at the location appeared iffy. Bed sheets had cigarette burns. Would rather sleep in my car than go back to this place.

They were having a lugray party in the gov suite witch we were two doors down. Alot of noise and partying going on . Now I like to party ,however my grandouther is not old enough. We ask for non smoking room witch we got, however there were alot of cig butts all over the ground out side are room. the over all was not good.

we left as soon as we say the condition of that place it was a nasty place we did not want to stay their book other place with you!

Liked the pool and the size of the rooms. WIFI signal is weak to non-existent so that basically ruined my night.

Location for the Miner's Ravine run made the place a good place. However, I found that the phone in the room wasn't always working, and the neighbors were loud until at least midnight.

The stay was alright but not the greatest. Too much noise, water stains on the ceiling, hole in the ceiling in bathroom, crown molding missing, curtains didn't hang correctly, and beds were not the best. For the price per night my opinion was not worth it. I have stayed in better hotels for the price we paid. We will probably never stay at this location […] again. Out front of the hotel were a bunch of teenagers participating in questionable activity. The "breakfast" is frozen waffles, dry cereal and apples & oranges. The staff was very nice, though.

This hotel conditions was the worst. The room was not clean. Someones clothes was still in the room. The tub/ shower was dirty. This was a non-smoking room, this room had cigarette buds and empty cartons all over the room. It was blood on the bottom sheets, ripped sheets and mattress. There was no maintenance or housekeeping at this location. They brought […] me clean sheets, expecting me to change them. I was mortified at everything I've been through in 1hr and 30 mins that i checked in. I will not recommend this hotel to anyone. The one thing that they did do right, is to send me to the same hotel in a different city. This hotel was a 4 star in rocklin, ca. My stay was awesome. Lisez la suite

The room was nice the area was good but it was in the high 90's outside and it felt cooler outside then in the room. all i got from the front desk was a fan that moved the hot air around..

Really enjoyed staying in this motel. Has outside doors which I like. Pool area was a decent area to relax. Motel was not five star but was clean and had good rates. Best of all they had a few smoking rooms which is not easy to find anymore. I would definitely stay there again.

only meet reservation for 3 rooms out of 4. - no in room wifi as stated - contential breakfest was ok, needs better verity and longer time frame - tv volume was broken in room, offered us another room but it was a smoking room, we dealt with it - very bad smeel near pool ice machine - front desk did there best to help us but were limited All in all […] I would say for the price it meet our needs for our team. This was a loud and not well maintaned room. The AC in the room was broken and I had to be moved to another room. I would not recommend it.

spent weekend house hunting--with success

Entered room to find large puddle of water on the bathroom floor (leaking drain) and broken bathroom door (had been kicked in). Iron was stolen, door safety latch was broken and room smelled of smoke and then when lights were out, you could see light from the next room through an uncovered outlet. We were very impressed by the staff and the decor in the lobby. The room and hotel grounds were a different story. The bathroom door in our room didn't close, and the bathroom lights would randomly turn off and on, as if there was a momentary blackout for only one light. Very poor faucets in the tub/shower that left large gaps between them and the wall. […] One plus in the bathroom was how large it is, with a beautiful new counter top. Every tv channel was static. The pool was freezing and the hot tub was broken. Garbage and vomit littered the grounds and parking lot. Not impressed, and definitely not recommending anyone I want to keep as a friend. Well there was a metal pipe sticking out of the mattress on one bed. My child hurt her ankle when she sat on bed and hit her foot. I had pictures to show front desk but they were not interested. Room was old looking. Complementary breakfast was a joke. One hour before breakfast closed no plates and front desk said, "Oh well." Lousy customer service. […] Horrible experience. Do not consider this hotel, it sucks and they don't care about fixing problems. When I finally spoke to someone at customer service and they said they would look into it yet never got back to me. A great place to stay, if '5 star quality' isn't a big deal! Good for an overnight place to crash, if on a road trip, good food around the hotel and great stores 2 blocks away. Okay-ish wi-fi in the lobby, good staff, good rooms!

I walk in and there is garbage in my room, banana peels on the night stand and strawberries and other food on it. Empty shopping bags laying around. No pillows on my bed. And the free wifi did not work unless you went to the lobby and then it worked poorly. The font desk in formed me several of their modems had been stolen recently, which made me wonder […] if this was a safe place. By far one of the very worst hotels I have ever been in. We just needed a place to sleep on route, so for our purposes it was fine. The continental breakfast was the most feeble offering I've ever experienced, so don't place any value on it: you'll want to hit a Starbucks on your way out!

clean, good size room, comfortable bed. for the money very good. do not hesitate to use this motel on your travels. will use it again

Two of the most important parts of a hotel stay to me are 1) cable (as I don't own a television, and the access is a real luxury and 2) internet (allowing me to keep in contact when I'm out and about. This said, my experience was rather lack luster. My room had a television, that was unplugged and malfunctioning, and after looking forward to having […] WIFI access in my room, I was extremely disappointed to find that the only way I could connect was by sitting outside of the lobby at a set of lawn furniture in the parking lot. The situation with the television was resolved very quickly by the hotel staff (I was moved to an adjacent room, no questions asked, where the TV reception was terrible, but at least the remote control worked). My feeling is that if a hotel claims services, they should actually have them. Great staff, poor accommodations. Lisez la suite

Stayed at this hotel 30 years ago while at 49er Summer Camp nearby. Same furniture in the room in bad repair. Chair tore a hold in my back via an exposed staple. Front desk would not give me a downstairs room - despite the place only being about 20% occupied. They put me next to some loud partiers who were staying there long-term. Room and linenes […] were pretty clean. Carpets in bad shape. But, a comfortable bed -which is what I needed. Won't go there again. Lisez la suite
