"Proche de tout"
pas de problème majeur si ce n' est que la WIFI n'est pas comprise dans le Prix (étonnant vu le coût)? il faut payer en ligne. Pour le véhicule: un peu cher; 30 $.
"Intercontinental Montréal : bien situé"
Bien situé entre le St Laurent et le bas de la rue Ste Catherine. L'hôtel est récent, la chambre standard que nous avions était déjà assez grande, une superbe vue sur le St Laurent. Accueil très agréable.

"The worst hotel experience"
A maid came into our room without saying anything. We were being intimate in bed and it was extremely embarrassing. The maid didn't speak english and by the time she walked in on us, We barely had time to cover ourselves with bedsheets. The steamroom/sauna were OK. the pool was very cold and was not heated. The in room entertainment/pay per view movie […] system wasn't working and the hotel offered a new room but we were staying there for one night so we didn't bother the hotel by changing the room. When we came back to our hotel after a night out, the hotel was going to an electricity maintenance. The elevator wasn't working and we had to wait about 10 minutes in the lobby. by the time we got back to our room, there was no electricity for anything but for one light. I am sure the hotel schedules their maintenances in advance and It was not noted at the time of booking by the hotel or on hotels.com. I don't think this is an honest way of doing business. Late night room service, the service was fast but the food was horrible. At check out, I've told the staff what happened and the staff was getting annoyed and did not even apologize. She merely said she could've offered free breakfast if i had complained when it happened with "too bad but oh well" kinda tone of voice. Lisez la suite

"I ♥ The InterContinental Montreal"
Just came back from the InterContinental Montreal this past weekend and it certainly exceeded my expectations. The location is extremely central, Osco's and Sara B's are wonderful (restau and bar in hotel) ALL of the staff are so friendly. I'm also a light sleeper and this hotel was perfect for sleeping - so quite at night. This hotel really made me […] feel special and I know I'll be staying here again before the end of the year. Thanks InterContinental for a perfect visit! Lisez la suite
Nice, friendly,bi-lingual staff. Great location.

"Good Deal but expensive options"
The Hotel was great and clean and more than worth the money. However the only downlfall no Free WI-FI internet ($15.00 pr/day) and Very expensive Parking at $25.00 pr/day
"Intercontinental Montreal"
Overall the hotel was great! Very convenient location. Sits atop a Metro station which was wonderful, particularly since it was below zero for the 2 days we were there. But that's part of the Montreal experience. Simply turn the corner to awesome restaurants in Old Montreal. Central train station is 5 minutes walk or 1 subway/metro stop away. Only […] issue with hotel was getting directions & recommendations. Staff was friendly but I felt a better job could be done outlining cafes, bars, restaurants in immediate area. I was directed to a Starbucks for coffee one morning, instead we ended up walking and found a number of cool local cafes. Would be simple to print a hotel-centric map with everything laid out for guests. Lisez la suite

"Solid hotel for reasonable price"
Bed was comfortable as per usual at Intercontinentals. My only complaint was that there was not a "pillow selection" since they only had super-soft compressible soft down pillows that provide no support for side sleepers. Like pancakes. Otherwise, great hotel. Great location between downtown conference district and close to old montreal if you need […] to be in both, I walked to both. Service at the hotel was great. Concierge multiple times went "above and beyond". Great little lunch and coffee shop at ground level called Java U with fresh salads and sandwiches for cheap. The hotel is also connected to a small shopping center with some other options in a pinch. Lisez la suite

"give it a miss"
Beware that this hotel can be difficult to find your way to by car, with all the one-way streets in the neighborhood. It has a pokey little lobby, and the interior is dimly lit. We couldn't read very well in our room, as the light was quite dim. Coffee machine did not work. Biggest complaint though was the Concierge. Since there was no sundries store […] n the hotel and the pharmacy in the connected World trade Centre was closed (it was 4 p.m. on a Saturday), I asked the concierge if she could obtain some aspirin for me for my splitting headache. She said they cannot do that -- offer clients medication. I said I would pay for it and administer it to myself, but she said I had to go across a public square where there was at the time an Occupy Montreal demnstration going on to purchase it myself. Well, so much for concierge service! Give this hotel a miss -- not worth the money. Lisez la suite

"The Intercontinental in MONTREAL"
THE FRONT DESK STAFF A T TIMES WERE GROUCHY AND SOMEWHAT IMPATIENT. i do UNDERSTAND THAT THEY SERVICE MANY GUESTS BUT WE ALSO PAID ALOT TO STAY IN YOUR HOTEL.THE CONCIERGE ERIKA OR SANDY WHO CAME ON DUTY ON SUN. WAS VERY HELPFUL. THE SHOWER IN ROOM 1806 WAS CONSTANTLY BACKED UP. UGH.

"Montreal Intercontinental."
Great location and very good rooms. The only negatives were: expensive wi-fi that was not reliable and when we went to the bar and restaurant there was no one to be found. They did say there was trouble with the WI-fi but didn't offer to refund any money at checkout and when the bartender and waite staff did come out the were friendly.
"good location, unsatisfying service"
I had to stay to this hotel cause it was the only one available for that night as there was major event in Montrial. the interior is very clean and in good condition but the colors are just SO DULL inside the rooms. for the same price there are many better hotels. the service wasn't very satisfying especially when I asked the bell man to get my luggage […] I waited in my room for 40 mins and no one showed, and when I went downstairs and asked them again to bring the luggage it took another 40mins! that was just unacceptable. Also they all seemed always busy all the time and at some points there was only one person at the reception and a long line of customers waiting to check in or out. Lisez la suite

"Great overall experience"
Not only was the hotel staff friendly and inviting, they went out of their way to offer us help or suggest places to go/things to see. The bartender ended up being a friend by the time we left. The room was very clean, spacious, and comfortable with great views of Montreal. The location of this hotel is perfect bordering both Old Montreal and the city […] center. We walked everywhere we wanted to go within a few minutes. The only inconvenience was that the elevators were under construction and not running as often as usual so in every ride up and down we were packed like sardines. This is temporary. Lisez la suite
"The Interontinental Motreal"
In searching for a hotel in Montreal we ended up selecting the Intercontinental because of its alleged great service (which was reflected in the hotel's price). Although the amenities and upkeep of the hotel were good, the customer service was deplorable. The front desk was of no help to us all weekend. First, we were placed in a much smaller room […] than the rest of our friends (with an older bathroom and layout). We requested a different room on consecutive days but were rebuffed as though they were doing us a favor just to talk to us. During the trip my wife's glasses broke. We asked for a recommendation for a repair place. The attendant behind the front desk could not offer a single suggestion (even though the nearby mall has no less than 4 eyeglass places) and offered to have their "technician" look at the glasses. After not hearing back from the front desk for several hours (while they kept the glasses) we went back down stairs only to have them say there was nothing they could do. We found a convenience store nearby ourselves, bought some glue and fixed them in 5 minutes. On our departure day we again (mistakenly) requested if we could have a late checkout. We were told the latest they could do was 12:00 PM - which is the same time as the standard check out time. Once down stairs, however, the couple in front of us a the front desk were allowed a 2 PM check out (and other members of our traveling party were given until 1 PM). The service along with the front desk personnels' attittude was terrible. Stay at any number of other area hotels. Lisez la suite

"Almost perfect"
Everything was terrific and the restaurant is really excellent. I had a hard time to get proper service for the refill of coffee. One day I was missing coffee, one day the creamer, one day the cup, one day everything so make sure before going to bed that this service - most basic in the cheapeast hotels - is properly done.
"it's an Intercontinental, but"
The staff was nice, the buffet breakfast and club lounge very good. The room was nice. BUT housekeeping had some issues. They didn't replace discarded linen completely and they didn't clean the shower and bath every day. Also the bookkeeping was iffy. We paid extra for a club room for which internet should not have been charged. At checkout we noticed […] our bill had internet charges on it. They took them off at our request, but they Also we were supposed to have 3PM checkout. I double checked with them, but going back to our room at 1:00PM the key did not work. They should have fixed it right the first time. Also I chose the hotel partly because it has a pool, but the pool was too hot to swim in. Lisez la suite
"Great hotel!"
Very nice hotel. Not new, but in great condition. Well appointed rooms. Great location. Within walking distance to Old Town attractions. The restaurant is good, but it's overrated on OpenTable, in my opinion. The wine selection is abysmal! (as are most Montreal restaurants...) For the money, this is a great hotel.
