Hotel vieillot mais relativement propre. Personnel agréable à la disposition des clients. Emplacement idéal à promité des différentes lignes de métro , de la Vème avenue, de Times SQuare. Pensez à réclamer des serviettes de bain qui sont distribuées au nombre de brosse à dents présenté dans la salle de bain.

Hôtel agréable, petit déjeuner servit de 6h30 à 9h30 correcte (ne pas arriver trop tard), station de métro ( 39 Av ) à 3min à pieds qui vous mène en 9min à la 5ème Avenue. Chambre spacieuse et bien équipée.

Nous recommandons fortement cet hotel. Super vue sur manhattan, terrasse exceptionnelle sur les toits..fabuleux !!! les chambres sont très cosy, propres, vraiment rien à redire. C'était parfait. les alentours de l'hotel sont effectivement surprenants (zone industrielle) mais peu importe la qualité, le service, la vue nous font, tout de suite, oublier les environs. Même si nous ne sommes dans manhattan même, aucun souci de transport.....en 10 minutes grand max nous y sommes. c'est très bien desservi et en plus il y a une navette qui peut nous amener au centre de manhattan. Vriament nous recoomandons vivement cet hotel et si c'était à refaire nous y retournerons sans problème! c'est fabuleux !!!!

Nous avons passé 4 nuits dans cet hôtel en février 2012. La situation est idéale: à 10 minutes de Manhattan en bus ( qui passe toutes les 10 minutes). La chambre donnait sur les buildings de Wall Street, magnifique le soir. Service des chambres tout à fait correct, spacieux. Seul petit bémol peut être, pour la taille des lits: 140X200. Un peu juste... La […] situation de cet hôtel en fait un endroit très calme, reposant après les longues journée à arpenter New York bruyant. Pour info, n'oubliez pas que si vous achetez le pass "Metrocard" pour utiliser le métro et bus dans New York, il n'est pas valable pour les navettes qui vont de l'hotel à Manhattan, car on change d'état! La vue de l'hôtel est exceptionnelle de jour comme de nuit. Se rendre à New York est très aisé par le bus ou le ferry, un peu plus difficile le week-end à cause de la fréquence moins importante des moyens de transport. On pourrait reprocher à l'hôtel son isolement relatif (pas "dans New York"), mais j'ai apprécié un peu de calme après les journées et […] soirées bruyantes et agitées en ville. Compter une heure trente de trajet depuis Newark, plus pour les autres aéroports. Attention: prévoir plus de temps pour retourner à l'aéroport en fonction des trains et correspondances (je me suis fait avoir et n'ai pas laissé suffisamment de temps). I stayed in this hotel with my daughter and we were both very happy with the huge room - always clean and nice. The view from the window was magnific....Manhattan skyline just as on a postcard! Even at night with its sparkling neonlights it was amazing to see!!! The ferry just outside the door was convenient even a bit expensive to use every day! The […] bus also just outside was cheaper and took us very quick to Manhattan without any problems! As we used Newark airport we first thought it was cheaper to take taxi to the hotel - also in New Jersey BUT wrong ... very expensive! When returning we took the bus in to Port Authority and then the Airportbus from there - leaves every 15 min and half the price of the taxitrip! Instead of paying the quite expensive breakfast at the hotel we bought sandwiches and juices in the nearby fuel station + in the small bar just cross the streets! The only thing a European misses in this hotel is an electric converter/adapter.....because even though they have mostly international guests this is not what they can offer....and it was quite hard to find one - but a tip is to go to a BestBuy shop and get one! I recommend this hotel warmly - it was nice to have a calm place to come back to in the evenings without the noise of Manhattan BUT where you through the window could see the beauty and magic view of Manhattan! Tous les jours pour se rendre à manhattan un bus prenant 10 min et traversant le lincoln tunel a prendre d'une valeure de 6$40 par personne l'aller-retour. La localisation est excelente pour aller a NYC, le ferry a 50 mètrs de la porte et l'autobus legerement plus loin. Le personnel donne les renseignements sur ces moyens de transports.

I would highly recommend the Sheraton Lincoln Harbor to anyone. It's just a quick, convenient commute into the city either by Ferry or Light Rail, the rooms are half the price of a Manhattan stay and the views are unbeatable.

We chose this hotel as it gave us a significant saving over the equivalent hotel in Manhattan. Getting into Manhattan is easy - a ferry runs from just outside the hotel but is an expensive option. The bus is the best bet - cheap at $3.20 each way - and takes you straight to the Port Authority Bus Terminal in about 5-10 mins. We liked the fact we could […] get away from the hustle and bustle of Manhattan at the end of each day. Great views of the New York skyline just across the Hudson River. Reasonable selection of restaurants short walk away in a fairly quiet but safe area. We are a family of 4 and whilst the family room was very nice and spacious, our two almost fully grown children had to share a double bed - a double and two singles in family rooms would be a much better option. Best in-room coffee of any hotel I have stayed at!! Over all I would recommend this as a great option for accommodation in NY but try to fly into Newark NOT JFK as the taxi fares can be high and not all taxi drivers want to go to New Jersey for some reason. It's very nice and clean hotel with amazing view of Manhattan. Even though it's just across the river the hotel is very well located. You can use Ferry or bus from the hotel to the other side of the river. Ferry tickets can be bought in the lobby. Ferry is not cheap (9$ per person each way) but if you buy at Pier 79 10 tickets at a once you will pay […] $7.60 Bus cost is $ 2.50 but it's take 45 min to get to Manhattan ( Ferry 10 min.) Using Ferry you can also use free buses to different places Manhattan witch is very very helpful. "Great Hotel and Great Location"
My parents were coming to USA and wanted a trip to NY. I picked this hotel since it was inexpensive and the location was great. The ferry goes from Manhattan to the front of the hotel every 15 minutes. It takes no more than 6 minutes to go from Manhattan to the hotel. The cost per person each way with the ferry is $9. If you are staying a couple of […] days, get the 10 pack of tickets, and they will be $7.60 each. On top of t hat, when you get to Manhattan in the morning, there is a free bus that will take you to either central Manhattan or Down Town. Great service. They also run often. This is much better than walking several blocks. The hotel itself was clean and the staff was friendly. The room is big, with a sitting room with a couch, table and end tables, a desk and an TV. Next to it, is the sleeping area with two beds and yet another TV. I particular like that the hotel is very environmental friendly. They have the double flushing toilets (one setting for the small stuff and one for the large stuff). If you don't need your room cleaned or don't need clean towel, then you can hang a sign on the outside of your door, and they will give you a $5 voucher to the restaurant in the hotel. You can do that every night and you will accumulate some money. Each voucher can be turned into 5oo points in stead of the money. The only down side was no free internet in the rooms. You had to pay $9.95 per 24 hours for that. No happy about that. But you could go down to the lobby and there was plenty of computers you could use and you could also bring your own laptop and plug it in and get free internet that way. There are not many places to eat around the hotel. We ate at Houllihan's the two nights we were there. Which was a short walk from the hotel. If you show your key from the hotel, they will take 10% of your bill. There is also a coupon in the book you get with the ferry schedule. So plenty of ways to save a little money. My wife & I enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The 10 minute Ferry ride into Manhattan made this location nothing short of awesome. The Ferry stop is literally seconds away from the hotel's front door. We will definitely be staying here again.

We just stayed here with 3 little kids visiting the city and it was great. Very convenient to the ferry, and little kids ride free or discounted. Pool was fantastic to come back to after a tiring day walking around the city. "Sheraton Lincoln Harbor Hotel close to everything"
Great place to stay,good price and close to all the major attractions. Only two problems with the room,the bathroom sink stopper would not work and the fan on the heater/ air conditioner squeaked. Rooms were very clean, looking forward to staying there again next year.

"not convenient on weekend/night"
I don't know why people rate this hotel so highly. The ferry port is surely in front of the hotel, but we had to wait 20 minutes on the way to and from NY in a cold weather. I asked receptionist if there was a time table, but they just told us to wait at the port. We got frozen. Also, on the way back to the hotel, we had to wait for 20 minutes for the […] shuttle bus to the port. Also, we got frozen. The ferry costs 18 dollars round trip and hotel charges $25 for a parking plus $30 service charge and we ended up spending so much money. Everything about this Hotel was very nice....except, I did not know that they would charge $25 to park in their hotel parking lot. That may have made a difference when booking this. I don't think a hotel should charge their occupants to park while staying in their hotel.

the Sheraton-Weehawken is in a great location, with an awesome view of NYC. taking the ferry over to NYC is a great, although can be expensive, but it is very conveniently located. It was nice to park the car and not have to worry about using it again until our stay was over. Definitely would stay at the hotel again.

Comfortable hotel with great city skyline views and excellent location near ferry, bus, light train to Metro -- all means of transportation. Internet access was tricky but we managed. We were NOT charged for parking, which was a nice surprise. Did not eat in hotel restaurant so cannot comment on that. Housekeeping service was a bit slow -- had to wait […] half an hour past check in and even then the room assigned to us was not available so we had to change. Chose this hotel due to it's proximity to the Javits Convention Center just across the river. It was perfect for that reason. Also paid a little extra for a room on the river side with a view of Manhattan. Apart from the room safe not working (desk did offer to move us to another room) everything was nice. We had an option for a Manhatten view room. But the view was not too good in 2nd floor. May be this was of very late arrival? Otherwise the hotel was nice. Good service.

We were disappointed that there were limited TV channels - particularly did not have Fox News and no choices for rental movies or on demand channels. Otherwise, the staff was VERY accommodating. We thoroughly enjoyed the restaurant!

My fiance and I live in the area however we like to check into the Sheraton once in a while as a quick weekend getaway. The staff was very friendly, the room was extremely clean and Im very picky so it def met my standards. The pool was very clean and warm! I would def stay there again and again.
