The hotel was clean and staff were nice. Located at a couple of hundreds of yards away from Garnett station. You can easily walk to downtown (should take about 15 mins). The neighborhood could be better but it was OK.

A l origine nous avions réservé dans cet hotel pour etre pres de Stone MountainPark. L accueil est sympathique et le concierge fait des efforts du fait que nous parlons seulement l américain basique. La chambre est correcte propre et calme, au rez de chaussée. Arrivés tardivement nous avons pu aller boire un bière et prendre un snack à un bar grill tout proche qui nous a été indiqué par la réception. Accueil sympathique là aussi. Le rapprot qualité prix est excellent.

I booked this hotel because it was cheap and the rooms looked good enough for 3 early 20's ladies to stay at for one night out on the town in Buckhead! Upon arrival I was a little put off by the location of the hotel and the outside. However, the staff was extremely nice and helpful. The lady at the front desk called a few minutes after I had gone to […] my room after checking in to see if I made it to my room okay because I was alone. So nice! Inside the room it was very clean and a lot nicer than the outside of the hotel looks like. If I ever needed another place to stay after a night out in Buckhead I would come back here! "close to where I needed to do business"
It was fine except for the social standing of many of the hotel guests. This is a prpblem especially if they are in the room next door, and your sleep is totally disturbed. "Great for the price with minor issues."
Overall, I recommend this hotel. We had some minor issues such as: 2 days in a row when our room was cleaned we had no towels or toiletries. There also was not a hair dryer in our room and though they have some at the front desk- they were all out for our 5 day stay! Toilet was clogged upon arrival. Room was soo loud I couldn't sleep. When I asked for a new room. Management told me its too late my old room had already been cleaned. "Nice hotel overall"
I know it is April, but it was about in the 40s outside and the working heat woould have made the room more comfy. The duvet had a huge stain on it that would likely come out with soap and water. But the bed was otherwise clean and comfy, and the bathroom and the rest of the room was immaculate. I really love the laminate flooring in Red Roofs. It helps […] the cleanliness, and I sometimes travel with my dog. I like that pets are welcomed. This hotel has no other toiletries but soap and a 2-in-1 shampoo. "Bad Experience"
I was assigned to a room, but upon entrance discovered that it had not yet been cleaned, so I was given a different room. The room itself was ok, about what you'd expect for the price. But what ruined my experience was about 5 am another guest had apparently been assigned to my room, given a key and tried to enter. So I awoke to the noise of someone […] trying to enter and see someone peering in at me. Fortunately I had engaged the mechanism that prevents the door from opening more than 3 inches or so. "Good Enough For a Star"
I rented a King size bedroom and I was pleasantly surprise at the rooms. They were VERY nice. I even had a desk that was in my room that I could sit at and do my work. I had a ground level room and other people staying there hung out in the parking lot and talked all night outside my room. I got ZERO SLEEP. I called the front desk and they did nothing about it. "Spring Break Stay"
My family's overall stay was great! Great location, very close to restaurants and Downtown Atlanta. The room was clean and neat. "Good Hotel"
We stayed at Red Roof Inn this past week for Spring Break. Hotel was surprisenly nice, Rooms were clean and they had lamminated floors instead of your standard carpet. I liked that, The only thing i did not like was that you could feel the springs of the bed, With some better beds this could be a really good hotel. Staff was very nice and helpfull. […] The housekeeping did mess up on of the nights that we were there by not cleannig the beds but the manager was very nice and took his time to correct the mistake. the beds are comfortable and the staff was great, however if you are a non-smoker, this hotel is not for you. Everything I owned smelled of smoke when I let this hotel, the smoke is in the carpets and sheets and clear that smokers do not take heed of the NO SMOKING hotel signs or fine. "Overnight stay"
Hotel is close to a place I visit often. After looking at all the hotels in the area, this one is the best value to revisit each time and keep costs down. The radiant heat is a refreshing change from noisy units and I like the hardwood floors. "Easy access to bus line / downtown"
The hotel is clean, but it is old. It's actually a motel (with the doors on the outside) I was downstairs in room 128. There were people sitting in their cars in the parking lot when we arrived sunday evening. There was no hair dryer, no ironing board and not enough wall outlets available to run my laptop and charge my phone conveniently in one place. […] The internet connection was very weak (I had trouble pulling up google maps) There were large gaps in the weatherstripping under the door, large enough for a small rodent to enter the room. The room has a large bathroom, and a refrigerator and a microwave which is very useful. Also, the TV was a new flat-screen tv. The bedding smelled fresh and I had adequate pillows and towels. The heater and AC worked well. The staff were very nice, there is a vending machine on the property and a CVS across the street to get refreshments. If you don't have a rental car, getting to downtown was an easy 40 min trip by bus/metro. No continental breakfast, but there is coffee and a free newspaper in the lobby each morning.
