Really cheap place. The guy asked to pay for breakfast and Wifi while it was included already.

Great spot, it was a little noisy at times.
"got what i paid for"
I picked this hotel because it looked pretty good from the pictures and the price is lower than others in the area. I pretty much got what I paid for. The staffs were not friendly at all, the neighborhood was bad, sirens all night. The hotel was pretty small, very limited parking spots. The rooms were fairly clean.
"RUDE DESK CLERK"
CLEAN HOTEL, CENTRAL AND GOOD FOR ONE NIGHT. THE DESK CLERK WAS NOT FRIENDLY AT ALL.
The people were rude and threatend to call the cops because we were talking in our room at midnight

"A Place to Stay in San Fran That Includes Parking"
The rates were reasonable and the rooms were clean w/upgrades such as crown molding and flat screen TV. The neighborhood is not the greatest, and we didn't have any problems or concerns. If you stay here, take time to walk down to Brendas for breakfast or dinner, you won't be disappointed. The Alexis provides a breakfast, but we didn't have the opporunity […] to experience it, even though the rates, parking and breakfast were reasons we selected this place. Lisez la suite
"Alexis Park, San Francisco"
I didn't mind the front desk staff. They were fine, so far as I was concerned. I know that others do not share this opinion, that is why I mention this. The good thing about this place is that it is situated near some good restaurants like Darbar and some Thai place just across the street...I forget the name. Also, the complimentary breakfast in the […] mornings includes fresh juice, yoghurt, cereal (Frosted Flakes, I believe), some sort of packaged pastry, as well as freshly made waffles!...very good! The bad is that there is no mini-fridge, ice costs money, and for whatever reason there were what seemed like a high number of occasions for the firetruck to be passing the place. Lisez la suite
"Alex Park"
It located near down town;however parking space is narrow and unpleasant around road due to a lot of stroll guys.
The hotel was good enough. The staff members in the Reception area were very rude. They must have missed the Customer Service 101 class.
I really have no complaints about this hotel. It was one of the cheaper deals in the San Francisco area where my boyfriend and I could walk to pretty much anywhere or cab for a relatively cheap price. The free parking was what really sold us on this deal as parking anywhere in the city is so expensive. There's a continental breakfast each morning which […] consists of yogurt, those danishes you get at Costco, belgian waffles, cereal, and bagels. It was really a great deal. The only downside to Alexis Park Hotel is the staff (a family who owns the hotel I believe) who were really unfriendly. We pretty much did our best to avoid them. Lisez la suite
"Hotel Alexis Park in San Francisco"
The hotel room was fairly clean but it's not located in the best neighborhood. The area is a little rowdy and noisy. Not a good place to stay if you have a family or looking for a quiet and safe environment.

"Clean,decent impressive"
Not a bad choice but the neighborhood is not conducive when you have to take your small children.
"Bad service"
Very rude desk employee!

"Waffles!"
There was a waffle maker for breakfast that made delicious waffles :D
"Extremely rude staff"
While we were happy with the location and upkeep of the hotel, the front desk staff were pretty awful. We checked in at night, so we had to speak to the first woman via a glass window from outside, and she actually waited for me to tap on the glass before acknowledging me, despite the fact that she made eye contact as we walked up. The continental breakfast […] was just weird. They had a waffle iron in the tiny check-in room, and waited us to ask for one rather than offering. Then the man behind the counter made one waffle, handed the plate to my boyfriend, and walked away without making a second one. They ran out of food before our two friends came down from their room, even though we were down half an hour before breakfast was scheduled to end. On check-out, another man at the front desk said that a maid had seen another person in our room, and they tried to charge us additional fees (there was no such person). Definitely would recommend a different location with better reviews. Lisez la suite

Nice, clean and friendly. Enjoyed stay. Helpful staff. Already recommended.
"Value for the money!"
A very nice hotel located down town. Everything was perfect.
"Alexis Park - Good value, clean accommodation"
We wanted an affordable hotel in downtown SF with free parking, free breakfast and free WiFi. This worked out very well, we stayed five nights. The room was clean and comfortable.
"Good affordable hotel"

"great rooms for the buck, poor service"
The rooms were clean, well equipped, nice bathrooms, lots of extras. Parking was free. The service was very poor. The staff was very unfriendly, and when I locked my key in the room at 1 am, I had to stand outside for 30 minutes until someone finally answered the nite bell.
What you pay is what you get ... clean and quiet with free parking ... Is it a top tier hotel in SF? no ... will you be satisfied from your stay especially if you have a car? yes
"Inexpensive, but not worth it"
We picked this hotel because we weren't terribly concerned with traveling a little farther from the downtown area to get a good deal. We liked how close it was to bus routes because we did not want to rent a car (the Muni Pass allows you unlimited rides on all buses, streetcars AND the cable car), definitely better than paying for parking everywhere! […] There was also a great diner around the corner called Mel's, which was a favorite during our stay. The room was passable, comparable to quality at a Motel 6/Super 8 type hotel. It was moderately sized and clean, nothing special. There was a really odd Asian hair dryer mounted to the wall that smelled terrible. The shower also had two water jets that could be turned on to spray at your back. I thought that this would be relaxing after a long day but the water pressure was so high that it really hurt. There was no way to adjust the water pressure or the angle of the jets that I could tell, so I just left it off. The flat-panel TV was nice and seemed to be hooked up to DirecTV, so there were a TON of channels available. It was great on the night we decided to stay in. I think the biggest reason that I wouldn't recommend this hotel is the neighborhood. We did not feel comfortable walking from the city center to this hotel. Homelessness and drug use seems to be a big problem in this area of town. My boyfriend witnessed two men trading bullets for a plastic bag on our way to the hotel. Our area also has a lot of homeless people and it does not normally make me uncomfortable. Perhaps some it it was not knowing the city too well, but I was definitely glad to be back in the hotel room. The other big complaint that I have was that you could hear EVERYTHING going on outside the hotel room. They had nice curtains to block out the sun, but I couldn't have slept in if I wanted to because of how loud it was. I am a deep sleeper, who can fall asleep on buses, planes, a park bench, sleep through fire alarms, etc. and I woke up several t Lisez la suite
"Now I know what 2 star in SF means"
An ok place, comfortwise. descent cleanliness of the room, no smells or anything. Looks normal. That's where the positives end. Staff was rude. On first night when shutting the door for the day I noticed that the latch on the door was cut off! Not broken, not damaged. Cut off. The feeling of not being safe increased on the next day when my room pass […] got cancelled. Wouldn't stay here ever. Lisez la suite

"ok room for the price"
Not great neighborhood to be walking at night, fine during the day. Hard to beat the location for the price. We felt that the staff was very nice.

"Great central location"
I was very happy overall with my stay at Alexis Park. The room was very clean and comfortable. Sure, the neighborhood might be a little sketchy but you just take your regular safety precautions and you won't have any problems. We were able to park in the small lot and we felt the car was totally safe while in the lot. We will stay here again since […] it is very convenient to most areas of the city. Bus lines are right outside the door and if you are looking for a place to stay close to the Great American Music Hall, you can't get much closer! Literally right around the corner so even if you're scared of the crackheads you can run and be at the room in about one minute (we saw none but they are around!). Lisez la suite
"Get what you paid for."
Very clean room. Nervous about my car in parking area vending machine took my money. You get what u pay for. wouldnt spend more on the room than what I did.
the front desk did as little as possible! they ignored the crack smoking in the parking lot in broad day light, they woke me up every day to ask me if i needed service before 9:00,on a holiday weekend, they called me and woke me up to tell me thay had to clean the room the next day because they couldn't let a room go for four days without being cleaned, […] when i informed them that i had not been in the hotel 24 hours yet they hung up!the maid staff worked their buts of and did a good job and were nice, thats the only good thing i have to say about the place. Clean rooms, get there early so you can get parking.
"Serviceable Lodging"
Neighborhood = terrible. If you are a woman or a frail man I do not recommend walking around after 10 pm. The rooms are clean, beds comfortable, nice TV with Dish network. Don't expect any amenities. For a room near touristy San Francisco, for the price, tough to beat. "Free parking" is very limited. You'll end up parking in the street (free after […] 6 pm) which is fine if you have a rental car or jalopy. If you bring your own car, I'd garage it nearby for $15-20 per night. Lisez la suite
"Bring your own blow dryer"
Rooms were fine but the blow dryer is something from the 70's. If you are a girl, I'd highly recommend bringing your own.

Staff was not nice ... not polite and not welcoming Free parking service is a joke there is maybe only 10 spots available, so it s always full. I just got a bad vibe there.. especially with the staff ..
"Can't beat the price"
My wife & I needed a place for one night. We were pleasantly surprised to find this motel. It was clean and easy to get to. The neighborhood sucks, but we're from the bay area and in our younger years used frequent the clubs in the Tenderloin, so a couple of crazy homeless folks don't scare us. We walked to the Bill Gram to see a concert that night, […] it was about half mile. We had no problems. For the price it's totally worth it. Lisez la suite
