personnel tres sympatique. Hotel laisse a desirer. Pas de cafetiere dans la chambre, ni de sechoir. Decoration desuete mais ce n'etait pas grave pour nous. Le plus decevant, c'est le dejeuner gratiut, il n'y a presque rien. Pas de confitures, 1 seule sorte de cereales (Cheerios), pas de bagels, ni meme de pain brun. On n'y retournera pas: On aurait aimé avoir des protéines au petit déjeuner: fromage, viandes froides et autres. On a pris la peine de demander s'il y aurait quelqu'un à la réception à 6h00 AM pour faire le check-out. On nous a répondu par l'affirmative, mais il n'y avait personne. This worked out very well for good & quiet night's rest during this strenuous cycling weekend in Vermont. The bed was very comfortable and the neighboring rooms were very quiet. Overall, the motel's facilities are a bit dated but the staff are great, rooms are clean & comfortable.

We only needed an overnight, this met our budget needs without sacrificing safety or comfort. While it is a little older and showing signs of wear, it was very clean. We stayed just one night as we passed through town. Staff was friendly and accommodating. On check-in our non-smoking room smelled of smoke and we requested a change, which the staff quickly and politely obliged. There was no coffe maker in the room, as listed. Had to ask for one & the front desk wasn't sure where it was. When we arrived the room was around 50 degrees F and with only one small baseboard heater, was just getting warm by the next morning

This hotel may have been economical, but it was ridiculously umdermaintained and filthy. There were brown spots on the sheets, drips on the walls and mold in the bathroom. The heater barely worked, electric outlets were broken and so was the bathroom fan. The bathtub leaked. There were no spare blankets. The hotel offered no response to complaints. […] Never again. My boyfriend and I were looking for something low in price and comfortable where we could get some shut eye before trekking home to Newport, RI. There were two couples and we had reserved two rooms. The rooms had outside entrances. The outside temperature was two below zero. Both doors were frozen shut. After an unsuccessful attempt at opening them, the manaer gave us other rooms. They were cold inside. We turned the thermostats to 75 and left for supper. When we returned, it was still cold […] inside. We turned the thermostats up to maximum (85 degrees) and went to bed to warm up. It was still cold inside the next morning. I was happy with my stay. I don't stay away from home very much at all, but I was comfortable and felt safe at this hotel. The bed was a little harder than I'm use to but it was a very nice place to stay.

The staff of the Econo Lodge were nice and helpful. The Breakfast was the same fare you get at any Choice Hotel. The room was clean enough but not spotless. The interior was tired and the room had a large moldy spot on the cieling. In the morning I found out why. The roof is failing and either has or does leak. I was told the plan is to tear three of […] the 4 buildings down and start with something new. This plan is not firm so it appears the facility is in a holding patern that mean minimum expenditures on upgrades, which explains the condition of the building. Cleanliness is most important to me, and this placed was OK, although not perfect. It was good in the places that mattered most. Very nice resort, better than expected. Great location, clean and updated. Room has everything you need including a fireplace & tub with jets. The room is a little tight but includes a desk, lovely cushy chair with ottoman. The Hotels.com website has not been updated to indicate that there is free wireless internet in the rooms.

I chose this hotel because it was the only available room in the area, at a price that I could afford, on a popular weekend. My first impression was that this hotel room had a good layout, not too small. But the mold smell was very distinct. I turned on the AC, which was old, falling apart and very NOISY, to try and dry out the room. It only helped […] a little. The blanket on my bed had strange stains on it. Why would anyone who made up this bed not notice that and think it was ok?! The free internet service that was promised did not work. Had to go back and ask for a different room right away because our non-smoking room was nearly blue with cigarette smoke. Clerk admitted that a drunken wedding party had stayed there the night before. The next room was dingy and worn but smelled like cleaning product instead of cigarette smoke. There was a half inch gap where caulk should have been […] between the top of the bath tub and the wall surround. I think water is running right down in the wall. The plastic tub floor felt spongy under my feet which I assume means a rotton floor under it. The whole room was just basically old, worn, and in need of remodeling. Was dissatisfied with cleanliness of bathroom. The floor had not been swept and wide patches of mold on floor and around tub seams. Many small repairs both inside and outside room were needed. Continental breakfast was the barest minimum. Would not stay in that Econo Lodge again
