Was attending Open House at ECU with my daughter. Arrived at about midnight and checked out before 9 am. This hostel was just fine for our needs. It was clean, we slept, showered and grabbed a coffee and cereal to go.

My daughter had orientation at ECU. This hotel was in the perfect spot. Everything you need is in the vicinity. Close to the college and the hotel was very clean. Great price for what I needed.
"Old, old, old!"
My parents came to town for my college graduation and this hotel was the only one with an available room so, we had to book it. Mistake! The hotel itself is very old and has not been renovated, updated, or taken care of at all. The shower head in the bathroom fell off because the water pressure was "too much" for it to handle. The rooms all smell like […] smoke, even though the hotel is non-smoking. Also, when we checked in, the hotel clerk (the owner) never asked for any I.D. He simply asked for our names and gave us the room key. That seems safe and legitimate... I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. "As Good as to be expected"
The room was clean and ready at time of check in. There were noisey people outside well after dark and I was afraid to go to the door and see what was going on. I figured that as loud and noisey they were that the office would hear and come out and have them to tone it down but this went on for hours. "Day's Inn, Greenville - clean, safe, great value."
I brought my daughter to start school at ECU and stayed 1 week. The hotel is an older facility, however the grounds are immaculately kept including the swimming pool. Rooms were well cleaned every day and had every amenity that the much higher priced hotels offer, and then some. Again this is an older facility, so walls had many coats of paint, sink […] and shower had older fixtures, but again immaculately maintained. Mattress was comfortable, sheets and covers very nice. Wireless internet is strong with no problem to connect. The hotel's owners live on-site and couldn't have done more to make us feel comfortable. They even gave me a ride to the airport for free when I left. I highly recommend this hotel to any travelers, especially those visiting their students at ECU. Lisez la suite

The hotel was near ECU. It is an older property. Not wheelchair accessible at all. Property needs to be updated. Could hear the people walking around upstairs. Needs to have padding in the carpet to cut down on the noise. Price was cheap enough. The room was clean, the carpet looked new, but it was sort of shabby looking. Would not stay there again […] . nice hotel for the price there is a dennys right next door if you get hungry. on a main street to get to other places. i would stay again.

Decent hotel for the budget conscious. Comfortable enough for the money. Refrig, microwave. Clean. Can't expect much more
"Great for the money"
While no 4-star hotel, this Days Inn was well kept by nice folks. I found it quite comfortable, especially for the price. The only possible negative was the parking arrangements, which were across the parking lot from the rooms, not adjacent to the rooms like many motels. Otherwise, a good value in my opinion.

"Above what I expected for Price"
I work for a hotel and I didn't think this hotel was going to be as clean as it was. The lady that checked me in was very nice. They guy that worked earlier that day was kind of rude. I called and asked for early check-in and he said okay 1pm then he changed it once he seen it was booked through hotels.com. "Not bad at all for the price"
Don't be fooled by the pool picture - its in the parking but it looked clean. Overall the place was just fine for the small price per night we paid - i would definitely recommend it to save a few bucks. Nice and clean and safe.

The hotel was a little hard to find, probably because I was really tired, but the people on the front desk accepted my repeated calls with good grace and were very helpful. The area was mostly commercial but there were all night restaurants on both sides and that ois always a plus for me. This hotel was very clean and comfortable. The free breakfast was also great! You get what you pay for of course, but I have no complaints. This was very convenient and located in the heart of ECU country and everything we needed. For a short weekend trip...it was great! Great, friendly staff with free newspaper, coffee and peanuts!
