"Great location. Thought I was in New York"
It was absolutely fantastic!!! The service is great. Everyone was extremely helpful. The room was very roomy, clean and with lots of ammenities. Enjoyed inmensely. The train was right there so no trouble finding it. There is also a mall near by which has restaurants and lots of stores. The pet shop was awesome. Just across the street there was a Mac […] Donalds and a shop for things like deodorants, tooth paste, and other things that one may forget to bring. The hotel had various restaurants extremely nice. The breakfast in the Ocean Dining was fantastic and reasonably priced. Other restaurants were a bit pricey. The view was absolutely great. They had a bridge that look like the Brooklyn Bridge and a statue of Liberty. To me, coming from NY it was like being home. All in all was fantastic. I highly recommend this hotel. Lisez la suite
"Great hotel 15 minutes from Central Tokyo"
I stayed at the hotel 4 days with my 2 children in April 2012. The hotel is located in Odaiba, in reclaimed island. This is a new area with very high buildings and wide roads that is unusual for Tokyo. The connection to central tokyo happens through an elevated rail system that is a bit costly but the view from the train is fantastic. The station is […] right in front of the hotel. The ride to Tokyo is 310 Yen, which is expensive by Toyko subway standards. The area is very quite and the view, from the lobby and from the hotel room is spectacular over the bay, with the rainbow bridge. Next to the hotel, there is a mall where the larst 2 floors are restaurant areas, with a wide choice of food at reasonable prices. The roms are very large by Tokyo standards and the bathroon is western-like. The carpet was not new and had a few dirt spots, but otherwise, the room was very clean. My children and I were very happy with our stay and I would recommend the hotel for family visits. I would not recommend the hotel if you intend to party at night as this is a bit out of the way. "We loved Hotel Nikko"
Cannot fault this hotel. We spent 3 nights there and it is everything you would expect of a top hotel. Location is is excellent and monorail just outside. Had 2 great meals inthe Sushi and Tempura resturants.
"Tokyo Solo"
This was my first trip to Tokyo. I was on my way to Thailand and wanted a stop in Tokyo to see a bit of the city. This was a wonderful hotel and allowed me to be near a train station to see the city. I have only positives for this hotel.
"5 star hotel, 2 star service."
The hotel Nikko is a good hotel with great views of Rainbow Bridge and Tokyo skyline. Room quality and comfort is 5 star. However, the same cannot be said for the quality of service in the bars and restaurants. There appears to be a serious lack of training for the staff who are inattentive and very slow. Prior to checking out, I spoke with one of the […] assistant managers and made clear my dissatisfaction and disappointment. Despite his assurance that the hotel manager would contact me I am still waiting to hear from him. Enough said! Lisez la suite
"Hotel Nikko Tokyo, JimmyG"
Hotel staff outstanding, incredible view of Tokyo Bay, subway station 5 minute walk, shopping mall 5 minute walk also, Airport Limosine bus from Narita drops you off in front of hotel.
"Perfect view on the Rainbow Bridge"
Excellent service and room standard. Convenient parking facility and I enjoyed the bicycle rental giving me a memorable experience along the beach.
"classy with great service"
Customer service in Japanese hotels is typically quite good, but this one is one of the best I've experienced. Rooms are large, modern, and clean. The surrounding areas are fun; there's a shopping mall with lots of eateries right next door. But if you're planning on doing most of your travels in Tokyo, just keep in mind that it costs about $5 and 20 […] minutes to get from the hotel to Shimbashi, from where you can access the rest of Tokyo's subway system. We didn't mind this since we stayed here one night on the way from Kyoto to Narita. It was fantastic for that, but I wouldn't want to tour Tokyo from this location. Great hotel though! Perfect if you're going to base yourself in Odaiba. Lisez la suite
"Unbeatable quality at a reasonable price"
My boyfriend and I stayed here for four nights. We booked a king executive floor room and it was one of the nicest hotels I have ever stayed in, and ive literally been around the world. Our room had a view of Mt Fuji, included gym and pool access, and access to the library which provided complimentary food and drinks all day. Breakfast was also included. […] Service was impeccable and the hotel is in a great area surrounded by an area of restaurants and entertainment, and the other side by the Goverent buildings, Emperor's Palace and the CDB. Just awesome! Lisez la suite
"Good hotel"
It is a beautiful hotel. Great service if you can speak a bit of Japanese. You might have a little bit of a problem if you do not speak any. Otherwise the bathroom was awesome as was the roo […] m. Lisez la suite
"Nice & Comfortable Nikko"
Stayed 7 nights in the Hotel. Well appointed location with beautiful view of the rainbow bridge and the ease of traveling, with the train station at the door step of the hotel. Well served by the neighboring huge shopping malls such as Decks, Venus fort, museums and other attractive sights. Worth staying in especially for families, though it may be […] a bit pricey. "Hotel Nikko Tokyo- Fantastic Location on Tokyo Bay"
This hotel has a resort feel to it. The staff are very helpful and friendly. We loved Daiba Island and found the monorail easy to navigate. Having a laptop with us meant we could research train times etc. We felt this was essential to the smooth running of our holiday. Would highly recommend this location as the perfect way to relax yet be able to enjoy […] the city of Tokyo. Lisez la suite
"Hotel Nikko Tokyo"
The interior of the hotel looks great, I would even say luxurious. Service at C grade. Also, be careful, because at the time of check-in you can not provide the room you booked, and replace it with another, more bad. It was with me 2 times. Instead of the ocean view number given wall view. In general, nothing special about this hotel does not have. Beautiful […] interiors can be seen in other places. Lisez la suite
"Holtel Nikko in Tokyo - clean and comfortable"
Hotel Nikko is an extremely clean and comfortable hotel, the hotel staff are very attentive and nothing was to much trouble. Most staff spoke quite good english which was helpful. The view from the hotel is spectacular both night and day with a gorgeous view of rainbow bridge and Tokyo city. There is plenty of shopping and sights on Odaiba where the […] hotel is located. It was easy access to Tokyo city from our hotel with a monorail station directly outside, although the monorail is a little pricey once you use the metro is easy to get around and inexpensive. I would highly recommend Hotel Nikko Tokyo and would definitely stay again. Lisez la suite
"Very beautiful area."
Hotel Nikko is located in a very beautiful area. The hotel was beautiful. My only complaint was the cost if you wanted to swim (approx. $32/person/day) or dine ($110 to 150/meal) at the hotel. We were very happy that there was a mall with food court and a 105 yen grocery star within easy walking distance. Otherwise I would highly recommend this hot […] el. Lisez la suite

"Great Home Base"
The service at Hotel Nikko Tokyo was wonderful. The staff was very attentive and seemed very pleased to make sure your stay is comfortable. Even though the hotel is a little out of the way, the subway access is very close with covered walkways to avoid bad weather. There is no shop in the hotel to address personal supplies, but is available nearby. The […] room was very luxurious and clean. A definite 5 star place for comfort. The Japanese grill although pricey has very good service and wonderful food. The best part of the hotel was the staff, when I asked where to buy cigarettes, a staff member followed me to make sure I could operate the vending machine, (chased me down the stairs while I took the elevator!)! to make sure I was able to make the purchase. I was very impressed. Lisez la suite

"Not a Japanese way of service"
Good location from Haneda Airport. Nothing worthwhile to see around Odaiba though. Odaiba is not a good 1-2 days sightseeing site at all. The hotel is fairly good in facilities, but the service is lousy much below Japanese average in my view. The Japanese staffs that I encoutered were rude, perhaps they are getting tired of treating Taiwanese and Koreans […] who are main customers of this hotel. They treat these tourists in much different ways than they do for their domestic customers in my experiences. The check-in staff espeically was very rude, he laughed at me when I told him to wait for my wife's arrival from the bathroom with the passports. I couldn't understand why he laughed and that was not pleasant at all. Stay at the Nikko if you needt a day stopover in Tokyo and if you don't bother with the service quality. Otherwise, look for a better alternative. Lisez la suite

"Nice stay in Nikko"
Though for only 2 days at the occasion of an exhibition at Big Site, my stay at Nikko was very pleasant. The price I got from hotels.com was also unbeatable for this class of hotel. The hotel is well located and very well agenced. Nice for a business stay as well as for a romantic escape in Tokyo Bay.
"Hotel Nikko Tokyo -- A Pleasant Surprise"
The Nikko was a pleasant surprise just as the surrounding neighbourhood of Odaiba. While Odaiba is a bit far away for those who want to really experience the nonstop pulse of Tokyo, I found it to be a great location, almost like going to a resort, a theme that The Nikko was keen (and succeeded in, in my opinion) to promote. The Japanese restaurant "Sakura" […] was excellent as way the Grill & Wine resaturant "Taronga." Although the hotel seemed to always be buzzing and full of people, it is well-staffed and any request was responded to promptly. Lisez la suite
"Hotel Nikko-Tokyo--Equal to best in world"
Overlooks Tokyo Bay on island in the bay.Great location. Not downtown, but only 10 minutes to downtown by monorail (staion next to hotel). Mall next door has 45 restaurants (I counted). Modern, beautiful lobby. Staff treated us like honored guests. Concierge was particularly helpful with transportation, restaurant, tourist site recommendations. Made […] restaurant and hotel reservations for us. Upon learning of my daughters' birthday, she gave them a gift and even wrote us a note on our departure expressing her appreciation and pride at being able to provide service to us. Room was very large. Easily accommodated 3 adults. Immaculate--Not a speck of dirt anywhere in hotel. Magnificent view of Tokyo Bay and Rainbow Bridge from room. I recommend getting the brekfast package. It included Western and Japanese selection that was more than adequate. Walking and jogging trails across the street from the hotel were in a park along the bayside--even a beach! I've stayed at hotels al lover the world and consider the Nikko Tokyo the equal of the best the world has to offer. More impressive than the facilities and location, which were impressive enough, was the service. The staff was exceptionally helpful and amiable. My daughters didn't want to leave the hotel for our next destination, Kyoto. We'd stay there again in a minute and recommend it highly. Rates on hotel.com for mid-week were reasonable given that Tokyo is a very expensive city. No higher than London, New York, Paris, or other major cities. Lisez la suite
"Excellent hotel in an inconvenient location."
The hotel is outstanding, and the rooms are spacious. The staff are courteous, attentive and helpful. The only downside is the location. It's convenient to the relatively expensive monorail that services this out-of-the-way neighborhood in Tokyo. Neither a JR rail pass, nor a Tokyo Metro+ day pass covers this line. As a result, it will cost you an additional […] 420 yen and 30 minutes for each round-trip you take to/from Hotel Nikko. That said, the view of Tokyo from across the harbor is fantastic. "Nikko Hotel Tokyo"
Excellent hotel. Very luxurious room and surprisingly big for Tokyo. Room and bathroom were very clean. Very disappointing was the high price for the pool. Internet was affordable and priced reasonably, though we preferred if they were complimentary. Great transportation to downtown Tokyo, Hotel is next to Daiba Station. Breakfast room was sometimes […] crowded, especially if there was tour contingent. We recommend this hotel and will definitely stay here again next time. There is a Shuttle bus to Narita Airport (75 minutes), but it stopped at other hotels too. Lisez la suite
"convenient location"
Well run hotel on one of the man made islands in Tokyo Bay. Not ideal for those who want to walk out their door to the Ginza, however the rooms are far more spacious than the shoebox sized rooms in the heart of Tokyo and much less expensive with the convenience of the Metro literally at your door.A good feeling of open space and greenery with stunning […] views of the bay and the city. Included breakfast buffet is recommended, although there are several restaurants and shopping opportunities within a 5-10 minute walk. Taxi is 15 minutes to Haneda airport Lisez la suite
"Hotel Nikko - 5 star service!"
Great hotel. Beds very comfortable and extra large which was great for us of the over 6'0. Great room size and fantastic ocean view. Shopping centres close by and monorail at doorstep. "Hotel Nikko Tokyo"
This is a modern hotel in that the fashionable Obaida district, with splendid views over Tokyo bay. It is quite far from the city centre but is connected by a short covered walk way to the Tokyo metro system. Staff were very helpful. The hotel has Japanese, Chinese, European and grill restaurants, also two bars and a spa. There was also an outside BBQ […] but the weather was too humid at the time of my visit. The hotel was widely used by Japanese people which I took to be a good sign. I would certainly use it again. Lisez la suite

"Hotel Nikko Tokyo - Beautiful Hotel, Great Spot"
This was the first hotel (of 5) we stayed in during a 14 day trip to Japan recently. Being that it was the first time either of us had been to Japan I decided that it would be fun to take the Narita Express into the Tokyo station and go from there. I had done some research before I left and found it very easy to get to the hotel ... Narita Express to […] Tokyo terminal, Tokyo to Shimbashi, Shimbashi to the Yurikamome line to the Daiba stop (which is right in front of the hotel). Room was a good size and we had a view of the Rainbow Bridge and the Tokyo waterfront. Well appointed, ac worked well and the shower was great. If you can get a good deal on the room with breakfast, do it, breakfast was fantastic and the best we had the entire trip. Spent 3 nights there and pondered changing the booking we had made for the following week for another hotel we had in Tokyo to the Nikko, never did but definitely considered it. Lobby is fantastic and the area Odaiba, is a lot of fun and somewhat removed from the hustle and bustle of areas like Shinjuku, Shibuya or Shinagawa. Lisez la suite
"Luxurious Feel, Yet Comfortable & Family Friendly"
This hotel felt unexpectedly lux, yet my 12-year-old son was very comfortable. The room was large, had a great view and balcony and the beds were very comfortable. Nice variety of restaurants and very accommodating staff who speak good English. The greatest thing about this hotel is the Daiba location, which may be a bit less convenient for those who […] want to be in central Tokyo (although the monorail leaves from across the street, it's about 25 minutes into town, with connections), Daiba is an island full of great attractions for a family--the Museum of Emerging Science is awesome and there are two malls, a traditional bathhouse, TV studios with an amazing scenic overlook--all accessible from a free shuttle that leaves from the hotel. "Not for families with children"
Don't bother with this place if you are traveling with children. We reserved and paid for a room for three people (two adults plus one six-year old child, listed on the printed reservation) with extra payment for included breakfast, but when we got there they claimed the breakfast was only for adults, and we had to pay extra (over 1600 yen) each day […] for the child's breakfast. Worse, one of the reasons we chose this hotel was its beautiful pool. When we tried to use it, they told us "No one under 18 allowed". This was a huge disappointment for which there was no warning on the website or any online information. The reason for this adults-only policy wasn't made clear - Hotel Nikko is perhaps an adult-oriented "Love Hotel" - so steer clear if you have young or impressionable folks in your party. Lisez la suite
"Kids not allowed in pool"
The hotel was quite nice, and the rooms large for Japan, but not a family friendly kind of place. The swimming pool is part of the spa and is 18 and older only. This may be a selling point for others, but it would be nice if it was clearly stated.
"Great Service and Access"
Beautiful hotel with excellent service staff who exceed all expectations! The staff spoke english and worked diligently to serve our needs. Great location to train (across the street) and nearby Mall. The hotel was superb for airport bus limo, tour bus pick-ups, and Disneyland shuttle. You can do it all with this hotel as your home base! The rooms are […] roomy and clean. They offer great views and comfortable bedding. We highly recommend this hotel. Lisez la suite
