Aspen Ridge Extended Stay - Omaha

Place is run down. Roaches in room. Key did not work the first time. Could easily here footsteps from upper floor.

This isn't really a hotel. It's a short term apartment complex that was once an extended stay hotel. It was sold and the hotel portion was closed. I guess they decided to re-open it as an extended stay hotel. Problem is, there was no maid service. I stayed for 4 nights and my room was not cleaned once. There is no management on site from 7 pm to 10 […] am, nor on weekends. But, on the plus side, these are all efficiency apartments, so you have a living area, a bedroom area, and a kitchen. So if you have to spend more than a couple days in Omaha, this is a pretty darn good deal for the price. I probably won't be visiting omaha again because my business there has ended, but if I had to go spend another week in omaha, I'd probably stay here because of the full kitchen. Lisez la suite

First of all, this place changed owners during my stay. It is now a Aspen Ridge Hotel. The first thing they cut was the free continental breakfast. The biggest problem with the room is the kitchen. It is supposed to be a full kitchen, but most of the dishes and utensils are missing. It didn't matter to me; all I needed was the microwave and refridgerator. […] The fireplace was nice. There's plenty of room to move around. The walls are thin; you can hear your neighbors and the water pipes. Wireless internet worked great- and it was free. 20 years ago I stayed in this hotel- it was called the Residence Inn. It was nice then, but the room decor has not changed. Lisez la suite

Very nice for the price. The room was basically an efficiency apartment. Kitchen, eating area, living room area, bedroom, all in one room but separate. Property is kinda out of the way, so it's quiet, but its still convenient to get around to places to eat, etc... Since it had a small kitchen I there was a grocery store about 3 minutes away which was […] convenient. This is definitely the place I'll be staying from now on when I visit Omaha. Lisez la suite

We stayed overnight on a trip to Denver. It was very roomy and clean. Would be great for an extended stay.

we stayed in the second floor, the decking on the stairs had chipped paint and the boards were loose, bringing to the overall safety of the units. The cleaning crew needed to spend more times on the floors, cleaning the corners and sweeping the edge where the wall meets the carpet. This is an older property and it needs some work - in general, the room was clean, but had been well used. The stairway areas and common areas need to have trash picked up and needs to be cleaned/hosed down.

The room was clean, comfortable, quiet and very reasonably priced and my wife loved the pool. The hotel was located close to I-80 which made travel to scattered friends and relatives homes quick and convenient. There are numerous resturants, fast food and upscale, located close to the hotel. Overall our stay exceeded expectations.

This was a great location as it was close to my parent's home and it was very quiet. The breakfasts were awesome. We will definitely stay here again.

Although the outside of the buildings look a little run down the rooms were very nice. The staff was very helpful--We had asked for extra towels and they were happy to supply them. This isn't a hotel. It seemed to me like converted quads. It was a great room, lots of space. However, I was expecting an indoor pool and hot tub, they were outdoors and closed for the season. The room was smoking, which I didn't think existed in this day and age. The only saving grace for this place was that the staff was good, there was a complimentary […] dinner when I got there, and one of the best continental breakfasts I have had in awhile. Our room was a suite. It even had a fireplace so get a Duro log if you want to use it as you are not supposed to use real wood. Everything was as advertised. It is not a four star place, but it is comfortable and clean. The breakfast was fine, but nothing outstanding. It was better than a continental breakfast. This is a great place, but a little hard to find, but when found is great. The room was huge and well appointed. The wifi was a little tempermental, but overll the place was great.

The suite surpassed our expectations and we had a wonderful stay and will definetly recommend it to our family and friends and will go back again ourselves. Great staff and friendly atmosphere.

Very pleased with hotel. A quite jem... from the complimentary drinks and breakfast to the room. The room was a little dated and the air conditioning was noisy, but the value was excellent. I would stay there again and recommend it to everyone.

Wow I was surprised - for the quality and value this place can't be beat. Breakfast & supper/drinks were provided. Internet service was good. Room was a little dated and air conditioning was noisy but I would stay there again.

So many people talked about the place being outdated that we didn't expect much. However, we were very pleased with this choice. The staff was very friendly and the rooms were very large. The website only offered a smoking room, but we were upgraded to a non-smoking room upon arrival. I think we would stay here again.

On a scale of 1 - 10 (10 being the best hotel we have ever stayed in) we would rate this one as a 7.
