"Car Shop"

"Good hotel at a great price."
Hotel looks like a motor lodge so don't expect an immense lobby or pool. The room appeared dated but it appeared that the staff take great care to keep it clean and hospitable. The continental breakfast was only cereals, Danish, and apples but I double- checked my room cost and didn't mind. The staff was very congenial.Avis véridique Hotels.com

Very disappointed that the pool was in and out of service-seemed like a few kids were unsupervised by adults. Didn't try the breakfast. Excellent customer service at the desk though. The rooms were huge and functional.Avis véridique Hotels.com

I liked the size of the room and the fact that it had to separate rooms. Each room had a bed and a TV which makes it perfect for someone with kids. It also had nice size kitchenette with a stove, microwave and fridge. The outside and the inside of the rooms definitely could use some remodeling and updating. The breakfast was all that great but for the […] price it was OK. The pool was small and looked a little dirty. Convenient location. Would consider staying here again. Convinient located next to a Waffle House accros the street from McDonald's & Jack in the Box. It's an old hotel, but the beds were comfortable. The double occupancy is a 2 bedroom with 1 queen & 1 king and also has a mini kitchen.Avis véridique Hotels.com

I was amazed at the cleanliness of this hotel room. First of all, it wasn't a hotel room it was a suite. It had a kitchenette, a king bed in a separate bedroom with an entrance to the bathroom, a full/queen bed in the main room. This hotel is older and you could tell. The towels were a little frayed and the furnishings were older but the carpet was […] immaculate. The grout in the bathroom was white and the tile flooring was clean. "Place to stay while dropping son off for college"
Gotta admit... I was pleasantly surprised. I saw the previous reviews and expected a dive. Well... not the greatest part of town... but... very close to the college. I was able to visit my boy, grab breakfast with him before I left the last day, and slept very comfortably in a very nice room. Front desk help was nice and helpful. Breakfast was sparse, […] but ok. Coffee hit the spot. I'm gonna have to buck the trend for the debbie downers about this place and say that this will be my hotel of choice when I go back to visit my son at college.
