Room wasn't cleaned, dishes filthy, remote had food and grease, bathroom sink had a bad faucet leak, no toiletries, hard bed, slow Internet service, torn window screen, weak towels..do not stay here

Scruffy . 10 years overdue for a remodel. curtains were ripped and when the sun came around in the evening they had enough holes to have been shot by a shotgun. room (non smoking) smelled faintly of smoke and the room employed 2 plug in airwick deoderizers plus one strapped to the a/c unit. the mirror over the dresser was gone but the outline and screws […] remained.the recliner was ripped on the back and seat. the furniture finish(dresser, end tables, drawers)was worn on the edges to the point of showing the underlying white primer.The white plastic pieces of trim on the microwave,fridge, and cabinets were faded or smoked to yellow. the toilet was plugged when I checked in . the maintainence man corrected the problem quickly with the aid of a plumbers snake and a "plumbers helper".the toilet was a consistant two or three flusher after that. the place was clean and quiet and I slept well. The staff at the hotel was very warm and friendly! How ever the condition of the room was a complete horror! There was old pizza box under the sink the room door looked like someone had tried to kick it in! So I didn't stay hopefully I get my money back!

We changed rooms 2 times and ended up in a dirty, old drab room. The property was run down, garbage cans in the hall ways were overflowing and the overall feel of the hotel was unsafe with shady characters hanging around in the parking lot. The first room we were assinged was supposed to be non smoking, it wreaked of smoke and the smoke detector was […] ripped off the wall. We were then moved to a freshly painted room, however the television was not working. The final room we moved to was drab and very old looking. There was loud television sounds coming from the room next door and remained loud throughout the evening. Overall, I may give Extended Stay another try, only it will be in an area that is safer and hopefully a little more comfortable. The agent behind the counter was very nice and super accomodating when we came down each time to move rooms. Lisez la suite

The staff were wonderful. My particular room was not. First hey put me in a "non-smoking" room that reeked of stale cigarettes but were very nice about moving me. Then there was a dead cockroach on the floor, and the next morning a live earwig was crawling on my foot. There was no phone in my room, although there was suppposed to be; I had to walk to […] the office to get things fixed. They said there was ice in the refrigerator, there was not. Internet access was $4.99 (not stated in their listing) and kept dropping off so I had to keep signing on. Located next to freeway and railroad tracks. Lisez la suite

The hotel was perfect for what we needed to sleep, the walls were a little dirty but not a big deal, not for the price I will stay there if I need in the future

Good location, but that's where it ends. The room wasn't clean, there was a woman's blouse on the floor in front of the door when i first got there, apparently no cleaning crew in the place. the check in counter was closed when i got there at 11pm, the lights turned off, a very small sign that said lobby and no sign to let you know where to check in. […] i had to call the hotel phone # to get instructions where to check in. Just 10 minutes from my office, I'm able to make my own meals and steer clear of the fast food joints. A bit noisy from the frwy and rail yard, but not enough to be a complaint

Bed was dirty. More sheets needed.

Have stayed at other ESA hotels, but this one hit the bottom for service - lacking a sheet on the bed, no soap in the room. Deplorable!! Reported to office, manager to call. Did not call about issues. Could not recommend!

First of all you can't find the address because the hotel is hidden way back from the street. Second the key to the room did not work, they gave gave an up grade wonderful. Third the water pressure in the shower faucet was very low, and the shower head was not working. I hate baths but i had no choice, it took like 1/2 an hour to fill up the tub 1/4 […] full. Fourth i wanted to iron my pants but no iron. I was told they had no extra irons. I asked them to check, wa la they found one. Lisez la suite

The staff were great. The room was for the most part clean. The mattress was thin and hard, the AC was on high all weekend and the room never got below 75 degrees, the chair was broken, and there were giant divets in the wall. The price was really decent, and it's a good thing too, otherwise I would have been really irritated about the hotel.

I have stayed at the Extended Stay America chain before, and found it to be a pleasant experience. This was not the case at the Bakersfield ESA. I had to wait an hour to get checked in to my room, and found that the furbishings of this particular hotel were quite shabby and worn. I would recommend the Hampton Inn across the street.

Price is cheap but so is the room and soiled furniture! Note that there is a major rail road transfer station about 50 yards from hotel so lound clanging and screetching steel will keep you up. Just be aware that hotel appears to house migrant workers and really is a low water mark for a chain that I usually have had better experiences with.

This hotel just ok to stay. This hotel has single twin beds, which is bit hard for family of 2 adults and 2 kids. This hotel does not have 2 queen beds, which would be better.

Upon arrival hotel looked good. From outside. Inside our room had yellow duck tape across the door jam and about 4feet into the room to hold/cover the ripped carpet, one box spring was broken so the matteress lend one way so you could roll off the bed... Oh yea they back up to the Bnsf railroad yard and u hear banging of cars plus whistle of horns. […] It was horrible Lisez la suite

you have to pay $5 for wi-fi, the light bulb in the room and fridge were out and they couldn't replace it during my 2day stay, towels were harsh and it was a bit grungy. positives are the large fridge, microwave and toaster which makes extended stay unique, but it was too ghetto.

I chose to stay here while I was getting work done on my house and to be honest was greatly disappointed. For one, the room was ridiculously small and the room was the only one on the entire floor without a room number. Second, the room they gave me was on the side facing the freeway and that’s all I could hear. Third, the exterior of the hotel had […] poor lighting and I never truly felt safe walking from my car at night. Fourth, they have the worst front desk I have ever experienced. During this stay, I called the front desk (housekeeping) and it took nearly 5 minutes for me to get a response. I had called requesting clean towels and rather then sending me up some clean towels, she told me to gather all the dirty towels and come down stairs( to the front desk) and then she would give me some new ones. Personally, I felt that this was a complete joke and I would not recommend anyone waste their hard earned money here. Lisez la suite

The hotel was not full, but they did put a late arriving party next door to me that was very loud. It was after hours so I just put my pillow over my head and went back to sleep.

The hotel gave my room to someone else so I was stuck with a 1 bed, smoking room when I initially booked the room for 2 beds and non smoking. The first night was an aweful experienced, hope no one ever experience what I have. Recommendation to the hotel, DO NOT EVER give someone else room away to a different person, even if they come late. I could not wait to leave this hotel, even though it was a non-smoking room the room smelled very strongly of smoke!

They first put me in a room that was not cleaned but moved me to another room.

The room was a little threadbare, but very clean. Great value for the price, and the BBQ place next door is fabulous!

The carpet was extremely dirty and their was smell of urine. When I took off the comforter the blanket was used and the sheets yellow. I requested the maid to bring me clean bedding and she replied that I could pick it up at the desk. I demanded that she bring it to me and she did. The bed was very hard and I was only given a clean comforter and pillow […] cases. In turn I was very uncomfortable sleeping in this hotel room. Lisez la suite

Kitchen was not stocked with correct amount of utensils, plates and cookware. Only 1 burner on stove worked. Mattresses were very uncomfortable and had burn marks or stains on them. Blankets were cheap and had burn holes in them. Even for the price we paid, the place was not up to par.

good sized room with full kitchen. friendly stafff. convenient location.
