Super prestation. Appartement spacieux et au calme . Situé près du centre (accessible à pied en 5/10 mn et arrêt de tramway au coin de la rue) et à proximité d'une supérette. Attention, il faut penser à contacter l'hotel avant l'arrivée pour obtenir les codes d'accès car il n'y a pas de contact sur place. Posssibilité de parking dans la rue, gratuit le week-end mais cher la semaine (2€/h soit 20€/jour)

Je séjourne régulièrement dans cet hôtel à titre professionnel. Les lits sont confortables, la chambre est propre, la SDB petite mais correcte et le restaurant est très bien. Le personnel est sympa.

Au cœur de Helsinki, l'établissement GLO Hotel Art se trouve tout près des sites suivants : Musée d'art de Sinebrychoff, Kiasma et Musée d'art Atheneum. Les sites Musée national et Place du Sénat se trouvent également à proximité.

L'hôtel est très bien situé, proche du centre à pied, superette à 20m. Proche de tous les bars et autres lieux rock/métal. Une superbe façade. La vue côté cour est certes moins intéressante, mais bon... Il y a d'autres endroits à voir à Helsinki, quand même ! ;) Une équipe très disponible, à l'anglais parfait. Chambre impeccable, bon confort. Seul […] bémol qui me freine à mettre la note maximale: le joint d'étanchéité de la vitre de la baignoire était un peu usé, et l'eau finissait sur le sol (rien de bien sérieux, donc). Accès internet gratuit dans une pièce servant aussi de salon de lecture (mais poste de travail en finlandais :( ). Sauna au sous sol (pas testé) Petit déjeuner très varié et copieux servi dans un espace agréable et détendu (petite musique douce pour s'éveiller à son rythme). Calme, parfaitement propre charmant avec son style médiéval. Le petit déjeuner à volonté est varié et très bon ! Cet hôtel est à la hauteur de l'hospitalité et le pragmatisme finlandais. Je suis 100% satisfaite et je le recommande.

We booked one of the smart rooms. It was small but more than met our needs. The staff were exceptionally good and the breakfast choice was also good. The hotel was in the design area, which suited us. Should we ever return to Helsinki, we would choose to stay here again.

Overall, I had a good stay. The staff were very accommodating and helpful. The first room they gave me was a very long walk from reception - two elevators, 4 card key entry doors. It was a very small (but cute) room. When I complained to reception that there was no where to hang my clothes (only shelves), they moved me to a bigger room, closer to reception. […] This was still not huge, but much better and with a closet. The rooms are freshly renovated. I had dinner in the restaurant which was quite good. The public rooms are fascinating, with almost a Harry Potter Hogwarts feel, with a warm welcome and friendly staff. The bedrooms are completely different, havig been recently refitted and are the best I have seen in a long time (though a little compact). When I next return to Helsinki it's Glo Hotel for sure.

Wonderful entrance/reception area. Only about 800 metre from the Helsinki centre so convienient for just about everything.........

This hotel is located within easy distance from the train station. You can take the tram or just walk.It looks like a castle from the outside, and reception is very comfortable. The rooms are very modern with scandinavian design. We walked most everywhere, but there are also numerous tram stops within walking distance. My initial booking was for the single room, which I found rather small. So I upgraded to a twin for the rest of the stay and that room had plenty of space. Newly redone - I was the first guest in the room. ALL is done perfect. Friendly service in reception. Good breakfast. And a very well done rework makes it a hit - especially at this price.

We stayed here for 3 nights in January and found it to be a great little place. The outside of the building is fabulous, as is the reception area. Our room was in a more modern part of the building, but it was very clean and comfortable, with nice touches such as a cuddly toy on the bed. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful- really they bent […] over backwards to help us. The buffet breakfast was surprisingly good, real cheeses and plenty of eggs, meats and other continental treats. On the final night there was a problem with our bathroom and they immediately upgraded us free of charge to a larger room to make up for the inconvenience. The location is a short walk from the main part of town- not far at all and far enough to be away from the partying and noise. There are also plenty of small shops and bars nearby should you need food. Overall I would give this hotel a 4/5- for the price I certainly wasn't expecting such great service and surroundings and I would definitely go back there again. Lisez la suite

This hotel is rally good and with the cute castle look. The reception staffs are very nice and the sauna is really good. It is a good place to stay with.
"Choose another hotel until renovations finished"
While not awful there are better hotels for the price in the downtown area. Unfortunately, the hotel is going through a renovation which made it somewhat noisy at times. The condition of our room was poor compared to comparable hotels-- all small things that added up to an uncomfortable stay (mold in the bathroom, non-functioning lights and wifi, poor […] ventilation). I can only think that it must be related to the renovations and that maybe all rooms will be remodeled by early 2012. In the meantime, you'd do best to stay elsewhere. Lisez la suite

This is an absolutely beautiful hotel. Set in a marvelous historic setting, the rooms are modern and comfortable. There is sauna available in the eveinings and bikes for use at no cost. The breakfast was delicious - your typical smorgasbord style event. Staff was very friendly and were there to meet to your needs.

Bit of a walk from the towncentre but worth it. Great, friendly staff, lovely rooms, handy for town. Didn't try breakfast but reckon it should be ok. Building work going on at the back...so expect early noise and strange smells.....but hej, it's the City!

Hotel Linna is great value for money. Although the rooms are dated which means that the hotel is more like a 3*. It's clean and convenient and the staff are excellent. My husband is from Helsinki so we travel there frequently for long stays. We like to try different hotels and had read about The Linna in a travel guide.The hotel was everything we hoped it would be. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful with making special arrangements for us. While the room was typical European small, ours was very comfortable […] and always clean. Location was perfect, just a short walk to the city center and easy transportation. Breakfast was also very good: while not a large selection as we see in the larger hotels, it was none the less satisifing. "Fabulous deal for the price"
A lovely, architecturally interesting hotel with spotless rooms--small, as often in Europe, but with high end appointments. A few minutes further to walk to main attractions than some hotels, with a couple blocks of less desirable character, but in no way dangerous. Great service, great breakfast. The value for price can't be beat.
