Très bon accueil des propriétaires et chambres spacieuses avec espace cuisine. Parking gratuit. Proche des commodités et du walk of fame.

Hôtel très bien situé pour visiter Hollywood ,parking gratuit,connection internet moyenne dans les chambres meme si elle est gratuite,petit dejeuner compris et copieux,un frigo mais pas de coffre fort.Personnel très sympathique le seul bémol c'est que même les chambres non fumeur sentent le tabac froid sinon dans l ensemble séjours agréable pour 2 à 3 nuits maximum,ah oui petite piscine pour se détendre et ça aussi c'est toujours agréable .

Très bon compromis: qualité/prix, emplacement idéal à 1minutes à pied du Kodak Theatre et à la fois dans une rue calme. Jardin sur le toit très bien aménagé, piscine agréable, petit déjeuner délicieux (mention spéciale aux muffin), chambre grande avec cuisine, parking fermé - Bref ravis de notre séjour (4nuits). Les petits bémols: murs fins car vieux bâtiment et penser à demander une chambre sur cour et pas sur rue (c est quand même Hollywood Boulevard dont on parle : y a de la vie!!). C'était très bien!! Hotel classique au niveau des chambres. Parking assez grand. Bon avantage sur le placement à 2 minutes à pied du métro et à 5 minutes en voiture d'Hollywood Signs, des étoiles d'Hollywood Blvd, 15 minutes d'Universal Studios, de Sunset Strip, 30 minutes sans bouchon de Venice Beach et Santa Monica. Méfiance tout de même dans le secteur de l'hotel à la tombée de la nuit mais c'est pas non plus Bagdad...
Situation

Situation géographique certes pratique, mais ne pas s'aviser à chercher un charme quelconque au quartier...

Les personnes à l'accueil n'étaient pas très serviables mais l'hotel est confortable et très propre. De plus la localisation est pratique comme point de départ pour aller visiter Hollywood, le centre-ville ou les plages de Venice et Santa-Monica. Hotel au calme ce qui est appréciable.

Situé près de LAX, cet hôtel convient très bien au voyageur qui doit passer une ou deux nuits dans cet environnement. Chambres confortable, service de navette régulier, déjeuner correct. Par contre, il faut sortir pour trouver un restaurant à midi ou le soir.

"not a good choice"
Bed old and too soft. Pillows were the worst ever. Some one was smoking on our floor. When I complained they said it would be handled, but we still could smell it the next day in the hall area by our room.

Any hotel these days associated with the Holiday Inn name, should at least have a refrigerator in the room.The worlds slowest lift is installed in this hotel. There is a Seven Eleven at the back of the hotel. However the neighborhood looks ?? and my wife did not dare go there alone.

"Pool not clean"
I booked the hotel because I was interested in going to the outdoor pool for some R&R but it was not cleaned and neither was the jacuzzi to my disappointment.

Breakfast is very good, hotel staff is friendly but no Bell Boys available. If you're looking for a 1 night hotel near LAX this is a good option. Price is very accesible. Elevator takes soo mnay time to reach any floor... slowest elevator ever!!

I was not happy with the hotel at all. They stated that the hotel had been remodeled, all they remodeled was the room with furniture. The carpet in the room was terrible and everything else about the hotel was old and run down. The walls were so thin you could hear people talking, etc. It was ridiculous. It was so noisy with people coming and going […] at all hours of the night, I didn't get any sleep. I travel for work all the time and haven't come across hotel this bad in a long time. Nice hotel, clean room, however, the room was pretty small and no bath tub at all. Not the best neighborhood and the only convenient store is a 7 Eleven around the corner. Good breakfast in the morning. Overall, not a bad hotel at all.

"Utilitarian near the car rental lots"
Some interior elements are a bit worn, but this is a respectable place that will suit the utilitarian traveler. I selected it so that I would be able to readily drop my car and grab a shuttle to the terminals for a v. early flight. A couple rental companies are conveniently close by.

I was very satisfied with the Hotel. Cleanliness of the room and customer service. We arrived 3 hours early and they let us check in early. "OUTSTANDING VALUE!"
I was blown away at how the nice and polite the staff was at this property. I checked in at 1:30pm, got a top floor room with two gift bags of bottled water and granola. I mentioned a refrigerator and they offered to bring one to the room. I declined it. Very accomodating. The room was very nice and clean. I stayed at the Fairmont Newport Beach last […] July and this room was much better! The bed wasn't as nice. It was still comfortable and we slept very well. The breakfast was yummy. Lots of options to choose from. I would suggest that they offer trays to take food back to the room. The dining room was nice and always packed. We like to eat in our room when possible. I liked this place so much, I've referred a close friend already and signed up for their loyalty program. This property is located near Inglewood. Many police cars and a helicopter with spotlight were driving/flying by friday night. We didn't feel unsafe at anytime. This was around dinner time, so we went to Santa Monica for dinner on the Pier! My rental car was from Hertz and it's located about 3 blocks down the street. This was a great weekend hotel. No charge for parking, free breakfast and not on top of the freeway = Very happy people! "Wait one hour for shuttle/no wake up call"
I had to wait one hour for the shuttle after calling twice. Then they forgot to set my wake up call. I only had 7 hour layover in LA and the hotel took away a chunk of precious sleep. Morning shuttle driver made no attempt to help with luggage boarding or dropping

Hotel is good for early flight schedule. No frills rooms or facilities just convenience and location. Surprisingly the 2nd elevator is still not working despite multiple comments over the past 3 months. I am wondering if management really cares about customer feedback.

I truly enjoyed my stay. I ALWASYS stay at the Embassy Suites LAX, but this time I tried the suite at the Holiday Inn Express. I was very pleased that I stayed an extra night. The only problem was only one elevator worked and parking can be crowded, however the staff, the room, comfort and location was AWESOME!!

There were only 2 elevators in the hotel and one was not working until the last day of my 4 day stay, so waiting for one elevator got to be a problem, front desk did not seem concerned when asked when it might be in operation again. Funny enough I read a review before I booked this hotel that said the same thing but I thought surely it would be repaired […] by the time I arrived. Breakfast was nice, consistant each day.
