Hôtel très bien situé et très confortable. Déco très zen. Service et propreté des chambres impeccables. Nous avons visité tout les quartiers au nord de la péninsule de San Francisco (du Presidio, à l'ouest, aux "piers" de l'Est, en descendant jusqu'à Union Square et Market street) à pied depuis l'hôtel. Bon séjour en famille, bon hôtel même si un peu vieillot mais bien situé

déçus par cet hôtel. les parties communes sont très "classes" et soignées par contre la chambre qui pourtant nous a été vendue comme "rénovée" était très moyenne. même si la literie et la salle de bains étaient propres. l'ensemble ne fait pas neuf. les poignées de portes et les portes étaient sales, c'est curieux! service de valet (parking) excessivement […] cher et totalement inutile à 40 $ car un parking pour 16$ par jour est proposé avec accès direct par ascenseur à l'hôtel. la chambre ne vaut pas 3 étoiles et demi.... chambre petite et lits de 140. l'accueil à la réception par contre est excellent. L'hôtel est situé dans le quartier japonnais de san francisco, les chambres sont confortable, la notre avait vu sur un jardin japonais, la déco est très japonaise et assez froide. On avait du bruit du au fait qu'il y avait les systèmes de ventilation juste à coté de notre chambre, mais pas trop gênant pour dormir. Dans le quartier japonnais, à l'écart du tumulte mais bien desservit par les bus. Si on aime, beaucoup de resto japonais sympa. Nous y sommes rester 3 nuits, et c'est avec regret que nous l'avons quitté.

Très bon hôtel, bon rapport qualité prix, et les employés ont été parfait. La chambre était assez grande, décoration zen, grande salle de bain avec baignoire et douche, et j'ai eu le droit au balcon (je fume), la chambre nickel mais ils ne font pas le ménage souvent sur les balcons (quelques vieux mégots et des toiles de poussière. Sinon la chambre […] est très propre. Je n'ai passé que 3 jours mais je serais bien resté plus longtemps. Un plus pour les portiers, ils sont très efficaces et très charmants, toujours de bonne humeur donc forcément ça fais plaisir!! Quartier plutôt calme surtout la nuit mais on peut tout faire à pied. tres bon hotel, un peu loin du centre ville mais ambiance zen, service impeccable.

Hotel bien situé au coeur de san francisco, seul l'isolation phonique laisse un peu à désirer (on y entend pas mal la route). Parking publique accessible depuis l'ascenseur de l'hotel à 16 dollars la journée, ce qui est trés correct. Nous avions une chambre à l'étage privé, je ne suis pas sur que cela ce justifie, puisque la chambre n'avait rien d'exceptionnelle […] et que l'étage comporte de nombreuses autres chambres. Hôtel plutôt bien situé. Excellent rapport qualité prix. L'état général du bâtiment est bon et la décoration de style japonais est au goût du jour et agréable. Lits confortables et salle de bain pratique. Petit déjeuner sous forme de buffet copieux.

Nous avons passé 3 jours dans cet hotel beau, reposant, très propre. Décoration japonaise de très bon goût dans les chambres et dans le hall avec de la musique douce asiatique, jardin japonais, mobilier confortable. Un vrai dépaysement ! Cet hôtel est situe dans la quartier japonais, donc il n'est pas à proximité immédiate des sites touristiques ; il est par contre très central pour visiter San Francisco. Les chambres sont très confortables, spacieuses et dans le style japonais. l'hotel est vraiment très bien. Il est situé à mi-chemin entre china town, mission et castro : ni près, ni loin. Il faut acheter un pass pour se déplacer. Le parking est payant, mais à mon avis incontournable. Le resto de l'hotel est très bien, celui dans le japan center où l'on prépare le repas à votre table est aussi à essayer

This is my favorite place to stay in San Francisco.The Kabuki Springs Spa is one of the main reasons. Be sure to get a free pass to go there at the front desk,and make a reservation,as it gets busy on the weekends.It's a hidden treasure.

This was a good hotel. We maintained and clean. My biggest problem was with the water pressure in the bathrooms! The pressure was so hard that i actually had to shield myself during showers because it would sting when the water hit my body. There was nothing relaxing about showering there.Also if you looking to be close to the action and sightseeing […] this one is a bit off the beaten path. I enjoyed the hotel and its employees. However, I did not enjoy the late partiers one night and the guys throwing up off of their balcony the next morning. Overall it was a very good place to stay and I would stay there again.

Excellent hotel all around. I always feel at home here. Plus, I get to bring my pooch with me , even better!

Had a wonderful time. Love the simplicity and beauty of the hotel garden and rooms.

Have stayed several times in the main building yet the 2nd building housing the Japanese style rooms and suites was very special-well worth the extra cost-with jacuzzi and large room-very nice! Close to Yoshi's-it's so nice to see music and not have to commute home that night!

This Hotel has an excelent location. Very close to many atractions. Great atention of their staff.

Hotel Kabuki exceeded our expectations - very clean, beautiful, quiet. Will definitely consider staying there again when we visit our daughter in San Francisco.

We have stayed at the Kabuki several times. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. Our rooms have always been immaculate. The shower is the best I've ever had in a hotel. Our only criticism is the lack of drawer space. By that I mean absolutely no drawer space and the closet was very small because it had a cabinet in it which did not hold clothes. […] The parking garage is directly attached to the hotel which is very convenient. Other than lack of storage space, this is a great hotel in a good neighborhood, close to Fremont and lots of restaurants in the area. A great bargain! Lisez la suite

My husband and I enjoyed our stay at the hotel. It was quiet and clean. The only complaint we had was parking. Parking was not included in the price. But other than that it was a great hotel. We intend to return.

What a great place to stay in the city! The rooms are elegant and clean. The Japanese theme takes the typical hotel experience to a new level. We especially loved the deep, Japanese style tubs. The staff and room at the Kabuki were great. I enjoyed my deluxe corner king very much - great view, good amenities and it was quiet just like i asked. I would definitely recommend this hotel. Just be aware that parking isn't cheap, and while you are close to the Fillmore and Japantown areas, everything else is a bit of a journey. The hotel is great. Really. Everything you expect a Japanese hotel to be. The adjacent parking garage is a pain. The staff there are consistently rude. The payment machines often don't work and they close between 2.30am and 5 so if you have to get out early you have to pay a 50 buck charge to get out. And it's 7am Sat. I've stayed here many times. Great location, but where to park was not clearly indicated and valet parking was full. So to even check in was a hassle without prior notificaiton.

I love this little hotel. The staff, from the men who greet you at the etrance and help you with your bags, getting transportation, to the front desk staff and the kind, cable kpeople who keep your room clean and in order - are very attentive, responsive, capable and kind. This hotel allows dogs at no extra charge. all you have to do is fill out a form. parking was $19 a night. Good food all around.

decent hotel and location, but i will not stay here again. they gouged me for making toll free calls. my company just opened an office nearby and i had to conduct 2 conference calls from my room. Even though these were "1-800" numbers, i was forced to pay big, big dollars. shockingly big dollars. after reasoning with a senior manager, they kindly and […] professionally agreed to credit me 50%, but the damage was done. i won't be staying there and won't allow my staff to stay there either. plenty of good alternatives in the area. We have stayed at many hotels and have NEVER been more dissatisfied in any of them as we were with Hotel Kabuki. From the lack of correct booking of our rooms. The hassle at check in. The charging me $50.00 per room for leaving at 8:20am cause we had appointment at 9:00am. We have NEVER been charged for leaving a room 3-4 hrs early when room was already […] paid for till noon(check out time). I have already put word out for any of our family or friends to NEVER stay there and for them to pass it on to THEIR family and friends. This is my 13th time staying at this hotel when I first visit the hotel was amazing and clean everything was new and now things are broken and it starting to feel a little old I love the hotel because it's peaceful but if you looking for clean carpets or beatifull new furniture not here at least not the rooms I have been in the last 5 times

I requested an handicapped accessible room when I made my reservation with the Hotel Kabuki. To my dismay, I discovered that the handicapped room was over a block away from the reception desk.. I have a mobility handicap and found it very difficult to walk to this room. When I asked for assisstance with a wheelchair, the hotel provided one that was […] too narrow for me to sit in. Therefore, I had to make that long, painful walk each time that I went to my room.Consequently, I only left my room to go out and return once a day. Upon our arrival at 3:30pm, we were warmly greeted by the lady at the reception desk and give the keys to our kabuki king room w/balcony. When we got to our, we saw that the room door was open. We peeked our head in and there was a maid inside. After advising her that this is the room we were assigned, she VERY RUDELY said "I don't think so, no." We […] showed her our room key envelope with the room # clearly written and she VERY RUDELY said "Well, the room is not ready." We then asked her when it will be ready and she replied "I don't know, come back in maybe half an hour." The nerve! Check in time was 3pm. So, went back to the front desk and advised them of what happened. Did not get an apology but we were immediately upgraded to a corner room on a higher floor. That was the only snag. The room was nice enough and the view was spectacular. Only problem with the room is that the toilet is in a separate closet sized room with no vent and no individual light switch. Also would have been nice if the rest of the bathroom had a door that separated it from the rest of the main room area....would be nice to take a shower w/out waking up the other person. Hotel Kabuki is located about 1-2 miles from downtown SF and so not good for people wanting to walk the sights or take public transportation. But the garage underneath is fantastic if someone needs to park a car--just $10 per night and elevator goes directly up to the rooms. Wanted to spend time in SF and wanted to see Japan Town so I killed two birds with one stone and stayed here. Booked a basic room with 2 double beds, but the size of the room was unsatisfactory so I opted to upgrade my room to a single king suite (with folding couch bed and roll-in bed) at an additional cost. This made the stay much more pleasant for […] me and my 4 friends and I highly recommend doing so if you want a more satisfying experience, since the 2 double bed rooms are comparable (in size and amenities) to any cheap motel. One note, I did catch a mouse scurrying through the halls late at night near a maintenance room, but it was far away enough from any guest rooms that it did not bother me. We had a gig at Yoshi's and decided to stay overnight in SF. The Kabuki is right around the corner from Yoshi's and was more than convienient to get to. The staff was excellent and the room was clean and comfortable. The bathroom was also very nice and clean. the deep tub and dual head shower was a nice surprise.
