Enjoyable overall with very good service, but beds are quite firm - not so good for ageing joints. Towels were plentiful but thin and scratchy. Great Tapas bar downstairs and excellent beer and parma bar a few doors up.

The hotel was in a good neighborhood where you could walk or catch a train to just about anything you'd want to see. There are plenty of restaurants and shops around as well.

Bed was super comfy and king sized, starting to need a little modernizing but hotel in general still very acceptable. Wife and I usually only stay 5 star being the pretentious beasts that we are, was really just a place to stay as we had a wedding in Collins St and was nice and close. Selection from the in room menu is very poor. The so called king size bed was just two singles put together. No microwave or in room tap, only in bathroom. Not enough chairs.

very basic rooms, but did the trick for a city visit where you're not spending time in the room. Wifi and movie channels worked well. Reception staff very helpful when storing luggage, calling cab etc. Towels a bit "cheap" and bathroom floor could have been cleaner, but location and staff made up for it.

This hotel is in a great location - around the corner from Chinatown and near busses and trams including the free tourist ones. Towels were rather thin while the sheets were very high quality. The hotel itself is in a decent around around Chinatown. The only thing that wasn't great was the morning continental breakfast. It barely included food. Warm food was $6 extra. We travelled to Melbourne from Adelaide to see A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum and selected the Crossley because of its proximity to the theatre. We were very haappy in every way with the service and accomodation and would recommend it to our friends

Great location and the staff were absolutely excellent, very friendly and very attentive. Our room was large and the bed very comfortable. The only thing I would say is that some parts of the hotel were a little run down and that included our bathroom. Having said that I would definitely stay here again.

My wife and I had a comfortable stay at the hotel. The room large enough and clean with a large TV with digital programmes. Pity it did not have Foxtel. The bathroom was okay but needed upgrading. The breakfast both continental and cooked was very good. Try to book with an agency which includes a continental breakfast in the price you pay. The value […] is $18 per day for everyone that is staying in the room, and an upgrade to a cooked breakfast is only $6. However ensure you take confirmation of the included breakfast as often the reception staff are unaware of its inclusion. The hotel is close to many of the theatres which is very convenient. Excellent place to stay for access to the Princess Theatre, Her Majesty's Theatre and China Town. Fabulous Chinese restaraunt opposite the hotel called "The Shark Fin Inn".

For a reasonably priced city centre hotel I was very pleased with the Crossley. My room was huge, with a little kitchen (not sure if all rooms have that) and it was clean and modern which is not always the case in smaller hotels. This hotel was modern, clean, quiet and convienient to shopping and nightlife in the CBD. It is a stone's throw from the Victorian Parliament in Little Bourke Street and around the corner from that great Melbourne institution "Pellingrinis" for coffee, cakes & pastas. I advised the hotel of some routine maintenance in my room and this was addressed […] without delay. Although I was on a 3 day business trip to Melbourne, I would recommend this hotel for any occaision and I left extremely satisfied of a pleasant stay. I would not hesitate staying there again. This hotel was as I would have expected for a Mecure hotel, clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. The room was not huge but was plenty big enough and even had a mini kitchen with microwave. There was no view from the room but we were right in the city centre and was perfect for a city break.

Overall, it was a comfortable experience, and well positioned if you want to take advantage of Chinatown. The heating was a little hit and miss, but the staff on reception were very helpful in making it work.

Det bästa med hotellet är personalen, trevliga och omtänksamma. Hotellet lite slitet vilket syntes på tex hissar och luftkonditioneringen som fick kämpa rejält i den 40-gradiga hettan och tyvärr inte fungerade ypperligt. Restaurangen har stora portioner av ok mat dock inget för finsmakare.
