I was on a four day business trip and chose the comfort inn. I came into the room and found some hairs in the sink. The next day i found a fortune from a fortune cookie in the bathroom when i had not had that to eat. On the third day i arrived back at my room to find a large floor dryer in the middle of my room, the clothes i had hanging up in the closet […] area were moved and i found them laying on the bed and the toilet tank cover was removed. There was no note left telling me what happened. I went down to the front desk to ask what happened in my room. The employee informed me that there was a leak; but said it in a tone that suggested that i should have already known about the leak. I asked him if any of my clothes were damaged since they had been moved. He informed me that the clothes were moved to prevent them from being damaged. He also told me that i had to move rooms for my final night. I moved all of my stuff (which took about 4-5 trips back and forth) into my new room all by myself. Lisez la suite

I sent my parents to this hotel after Hurricane Sandy to get away and have a warm place to sleep. The staff was very rude to them and was trying to give them a room that was at the end of the hallway past a glass door - which was freezing. My parents asked for a new room and after getting an attitude and going back and forth for awhile they gave them […] a new room. When my father came back a little while later to ask the front desk for a bottle opener, the person at the counter said "oh, it's you again." The room we were in was double booked and due to a clerical error my room was invaded in the middle of the night by another family while my family and I were sleeping. we had a great time. very nice breakfast, which wasn't well advertised. the pool was nice, great location - close to many "big box" places. Only problem was the door toour room didn't shut easily (we could have told the office, but didn't want to switch rooms so we dealt with it, but they were more than accommodating when we told them at check out)

The front desk staff was very nice & accommodating. The location was convenient for 2 days at Sesame Place, but a little sketchy. Also the woman who cleans the breakfast area is super annoying & rude. She steps right in front of people who are getting food to wipe things down, empty things, move things around unnecessarily, etc. She did it to me 3 times in the 2 mins that it took me to get a plate of food for myself & my son, & I watched her do it continuously to everyone while we ate. I walked up to the garbage can with our pile of trash & she pulled the trash can away from me & left me standing there holding my garbage while she emptied it right in front of me. I waited tables once upon a time, so I know what it takes to serve people well & this woman definitely doesn’t have it. Her general demeanor was rude & sour. It’s one thing to keep an area clean or stocked & another thing entirely to knock people down with a nasty scowl on your face just to wipe away a couple of crumbs from underneath a bread bin in the middle of a very busy breakfast. I will describe my ratings: Cleanliness: our first nonsmoking room smelled like smoke. We informed them and they switched us immediately. Staff: superb. They answered questions, gave directions, gave suggestions and were pleasant and hospitable.
