Hotel de la Fontaine - Nice

Juste un petit peu déçue du niveau trois étoiles ( quelques moisissures sur le mur de la douche) mais on paye la situation de l'hôtel (à trois pas de la Promenade des Anglais). Sinon la chambre était très mignonne et aménagée de façon très pratique.

Notre séjour a était agreable un hôtel propre le personnel très aimable et disponible, literie et chambre confortable seul point noir pas de parcking pour la voiture pas évidant de se garer près de l'hôtel autrement je recomanderai cet hôtel !

Proche de la promenade des anglais cet hotel est particulièrement agréable . Un accueil avec le sourire et une disponibilté constante . Bien qu assez petite , la chambre est propre , pas de bruit coté rue . Je recommande cet hotel idéal pour une découverte de la ville . FP

The hotel was in a n excellent location and staff were very helpful. The room was satisfactory. it was cleaned daily and suited us just fine. The hotel is a good place to stay and pleasent to be in. I would come here again.

This is a lovely small hotel close to all amenities. The Staff were very friendly spoke great English and although our room was to the front of the hotel and next to the lift we never heard a sound. Our only concern was lack of plug points and the one main one in the room seemed to have no power at night no good for charging batteries of phone or camera […] after a good long day we would recommend a stay here Lisez la suite

this hotel is in an easy to find location. accessable from the train station, close to old town, and two blocks from the beach. good breakfast at a reasonable price. near the 98 bus to and from the airport,

Close to everything in Nice, a block from the promenade. Busy area, plenty of restaurants, shopping nearby, Short walk to bus routes. Good hotel for the price.

Hotel staff unfriendly. Listing indicated all rooms remodeled March, 2011. The only rooms remodeled were in new building. At the price listed in Hotels.com we had to stay in old section. If we wanted the remodeled rooms, had to pay more. Bathroom horrible - couldn't even open the door all the way. Door hit the bed. Very noisy street if windows opened. […] Carpet filthy. All that is fair about this hotel is its location and freindly/helpful front desk/staff. This was the most expensive hotel we stayed in during our European holiday and was the worst by far. Our room was very small and cramped with ancient fittings, hardly any shelf space, no shower facilities, TV was so high up on a shelf to the extreme left of the […] bed that you had to stand up to view it. No space to sit and watch? Also extremely noisy with drainage from the bathroom above sounding like it was running through our room all night! We chose it for the one block away location in relation to the beaches. Spent three bad restless nights there and simply cannot recommend this hotel for the rate charged. Extras like the non refundable 8 Euro for the room safe key was also annoying and was never encountered elsewhere. Lisez la suite

This hotel is in a convenient location in St Remy and it was easy to find, as the hotel is signposted from the one-way circular road around the town. The (non balcony) room was small and basically furnished (by UK standards as it did not have a kettle or TV). However it was clean and it was serviced each day. It has a small swimming pool and it has […] a pleasant garden to sit in. The welcome was pleasant the owner was very helpful. Busses run roughly every hour from St Remy to Avignon and Arles (in the other direction). Both places are worth a visit. St Remy is a lovely quaint town with lots of cafe's & restaurants. We mainly eat at the nearby "Le Moulin Saint Bernard" as they did good food and was excellent value for money. Try their Pizzas. Visit the nearby Roman ruins at Ruines de Glanum and the hospital near to the ruins where Van Goch was a patient. Lisez la suite

Hotel de la Fontaine was really lovely - the highlight being the gorgeous patio garden to have breakfast in. The rooms aren't of a large size but for the time you stay in them they are absolutely fine. breakfast was good - all the usual continental selection. The service we received from the lady at reception was brilliant - she was generally very […] friendly and helpful but on the last day our flight was badly delayed and she was great at helping us get info from the airline, was very sympathetic and leaving the bags for hours and hours was no problem... so 5 stars for her.. sorry we didn't get her name! we weren't so impressed with one of the guys though, (4 receptionists during our time there) he could barely smile or say hello, was glued to his laptop.... and it really stood out after the great service of the lady. All in all a lovely hotel - good location, nicely furnished.... mostly excellent service. would recommend. Lisez la suite

It's not a 5 star hotel so don't expect one, but for the price we paid and what we got it was great. There's (an expensive) parking nearby but it was worth it, there are lots of restaurants, pubs and shops nearby and the beach is within 30 sec walking distance. Great location, I will be back again!

Couple of minutes from promenade and beach. 10 mins walk to railway station. Plenty of restaurants and bars in immediate vicinity. Downside - room very small and bathroom needs updating but clean and comfotable. Staff very helpful. Good value overall.

Hotel de la Fontane is a most convenient location for a tourist hotel, i.e., just a block away from the Promenade des Anglais, a short stroll to the pedestrian shopping zone, the Nice Gare, and Old Nice. The nightclub immediately across the street was a source of noise after-hours. The reception staff was most helpful, but a working knowledge of French […] is recommended. The rooms though modest and on the smaller side were immaculate. The buffet breakfast offered variety but were slightly higher than similar offerings in the neighborhood. Lisez la suite

Hotel de la Fontaine is a basic small European hotel with a great location. The room was a standard small room. The staff was friendly and helpful. But the best part of this hotel is location. The beach was a 2 minute walk, and yet the hotel was not outrageously expensive.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at La Fontaine - very central to Promenade Des Anglais, the Old Town and the Bus Station is only 15 minutes walk. Staff were very helpful and the room, albeit small, was very clean. No noise from outside and air conditioned. Would definately recommend and we will go back there again on our next visit to Nice

The staff was friendly and helpful and the room was very clean. The hotel was just a few minute walk to the Promenade d'Anglais and also to good restaurants. You have to pay for the breakfast, but it's definitely worth it. I will for sure stay at Hotel la Fontaine next time I'm in Nice!

Great location for Promenade (only 1 street back) and central Nice, although a little far to the Old Town (about 15 minutes walk). Also good for buses to airport and railway station (10 minutes walk). Local area excellent with many cafes and restaurants nearby which are probably a better bet for breakfast than taking it in the hotel (although we didn't […] sample hotel breakfast, it is nice to see the city 1st thing in the morning) The hotel itself has lovely staff that were catered to our requrests particularly well. Courtyard lovely for relaxing sunbathing or an afternoon coffee. Room on the 1st floor was very clean although was a little small and had a lack of storage space. AC was very efficient. Bathroom was in good condition but very small, and the shower especially was too small to wash in without knocking elbows against the walls. Although facing the busy street room was well insulated and not too noisy, TIP: ask for a room on a high floor as they also have shutters on the windows to keep the noise out, a feature that the 1st floor rooms lack. Standard 3 star hotel and didn't disappoint. Exactly what I was expecting. Also very central with good access to all the best places in Nice.

The overall staying was good. The room was clean and the location is perfect. Only downsize is the size of the room quite small and the Price paid didn't include breakfast

God service, bra läge, tyst gata, god frukost.

Dette var et 3-stjerners hotell, og i forhold til det, og i forhold til prisen, har jeg egentlig ingenting å utsette på hotellet. Bygningen ligger midt i smørøyet, bare få min. gange til Promenaden, og kort avstand til gågate med mange butikker og restauranter. Også gangavstand til Gamlebyen og Blomstertorget, perfekt beliggenhet. Spise"kroken" var […] liten, kanskje litt for intim når alle skulle spise på een gang. Betjeningen var svært hyggelige, de som jobbet i resepsjonen snakket greit engelsk, og var veldig behjelpelig med å forklare hvordan man skulle ta seg frem hit og dit. Kleines, originelles Hotel, zentral gelegen, Parkhaus in der Nähe. Unser Zimmer war sehr klein aber sauber, allerdings ist der 4. Stock wohl noch nicht rundum renoviert. Das Frühstück ist (zu) teuer aber gut. Das Personal war freundlich.

Holiday stay Small rooms, when you unpack your luggage, you take up all available floor space around your bed. Staff is friendly and very helpful. Would stay again, if the price is right.

Bra sentrumsnært hotell

일단 방이 너무 작아서 불편했고, 특히 전기콘센트가 딱 하나라서 2인실에서 여자 둘이 너무 불편했어요. 청결상태나 그런건 다른 호텔 수준으로 나쁘지않았으나, 전기콘센트가 하나뿐인데 전기가 그나마도 10시이후~아침7시이전까진 안들어오니 충전을 거의 할수없어 완전 짜증났습니다. 3성급호텔이라는데.... 정말 실망..ㅠㅠ 너무 기대를한건가요? 암튼 그렇네요.

Jag och min man bodde på Hotel de la Fontaine i 6 nätter i augusti då vi var på bilresa genom västeuropa. Det finns två p-hus i närheten av hotellet och vi bestämde oss för att det var värt priset. Receptionisten på hotellet var väldigt hjälpsam med karta och info om Nice och även Cannes och Monte Carlo. Vi åt aldrig frukost på hotellet då vi tyckte […] att priset var för högt och dessutom finns det minst tre ställen väldigt nära hotellet där man kan köpa kaffe och baguette med valfritt pålägg för mindre. Ett helt klart prisvärt centralt hotell i Nice som jag rekommenderar. Lisez la suite

Rommet og badet var lite men ok. Hotellet ligger veldig sentralt til gågata i Nice. Bra frokost

Værelset ikke så stort, manglede plads til kufferterne.Badeværelset ok, men ikke nogen steder at tørre håndklæderne.Vi opholdt os ikke på værelset, kun til at sove, så´det var fint.

Vores værelse på hotellet, var en smule småt - hvilket gav udfordringer med at komme rundt, når vores kufferter var pakket ud. På badeværelset sad en hylde så løs, at man ikke kunne bruge den til at stille ting på. Samtidig manglede der et bruseforhæng ved badekarret - hvilket betød at gulv og vægge altid blev vådt efter et bad. Al dette betegnes som […] så ting, der nemt ville kunne ordnes, og give gæsten en bedre oplevelse. Morgenmadsbuffet’en var udmærket til prisen – dog med det minus at deres the, altid blev serveret med lunken vand. Som noget positivt, var beliggenheden og personalet med til at trække bedømmelsen op, da der kun var positivt at sige til dette. Lisez la suite

wir hatten das Hotel als Angebot gebucht und waren 10 Tage vor Ort. Dass wir im Gegensatz zu den meisten anderen Gästen die nur für einen Kurzaufenthalt in diesem Hotel absteigen, hat nichts daran geändert, dass wir ein sehr sehr kleines Zimmer erhalten hatten. Auch auf Nachfrage ob wir denn ein etwas größeres Zimmer erhalten könnten kam man uns nicht […] entgegen. Auch war entgegen der Beschreibung auf der hoteleigenen Seite nicht alle Zimmer renoviert, alle Zimmer in der 1. Etage waren unrenoviert und entsprechen nicht den Bildern auf der Internetseite. Auch war unser winziges Kämmerchen zur Straßenseite gerichtet, da darunter ein Speiselokals ist und eine doch sehr viel befahrene Straße vorbeiführt ist es auch dementsprechend laut. Bei offenem Fenster schlafen ist also nicht möglich (auch hier hatte ich bei der Buchung angegeben ein Zimmer zur Innenseite zu bekommen, hat auch nicht geklappt auch ein Umzug in ein anders Zimmer wurde nicht ermöglicht). Die Sauberkeit des Hotels und der Zimmer ist ganz ok, das Bad wurde jeden Tag gründlich gereinigt. Allerdings ist der Teppich und auch der Bettbezug nicht mehr das neueste und riecht auch dementsprechend. Die fleißige Putzfrau konnte man auch jeden morgen lautstark plappern und staubsaugen hören. Da die Türen scheinbar aus Papier sind, hatte man das Gefühl die nette Dame steht jeden morgen direkt neben einem am Bett und quatscht die ganze Zeit. Auch schließen scheinbar alle Zimmertüren mit einem Seilzug, dass jedesmal die Tür extrem lautstark ins Schloss fällt. Wenn der Gast im Zimmer über einem die WC-Spülung oder Dusche benutzt hörte es sich in unserem Zimmer an, als ob ein Wasserfall die Wand runter kommen würde.... also alles in allem sehr laut in diesem Hotel. Sehr gut ist die Lage des Hotels, zum Stadtstrand sind es wirklich nur wenige Meter zur Altstadt kann man ebenfalls in einem gemütlichen Spaziergang über die Fußgängerzone der Rue de France über den Place Massena gelangen. Trevlig personal, nära till allt, rent och snyggt, tyst på natten. Vi hade ett väldigt litet rum -man fick turas om att gå omkring. Skippa hotellfrukosten - den äter man bättre och billigare ute i stan

Spesielt serviceminded og hyggelig betjening. Ypperlig beliggenhet. Vårt andre/tredje opphold. Vi var kun en på rommet. Synes kanskje rommet er litt lite for to personer. Koselig uteplass hvor vi inntok en variert og god frokost. Kommer nok tilbake nok en gang.

Rommene trenger oppgradering.God frokost i koselige omgivelser.Hyggelig betjening.Rom ut mot gaten har trafikkstøy.

Hotel bem decorado, mas o quarto que peguei não era como os da foto, com a decoração moderna, mas também não era ruim. Os funcionários se resumiam em responder o que lhes era perguntado e nada mais. Hotel Bom, mas da próxima vez eu procuraria algum mais próximo do centro histórico da cidade, pois este ficava a uns 10-15 minutos de caminhada.

Loistava sijainti ja ystävällinen henkilökunta. Lähellä rantaa ja kävelykatua. Suosittelen!
