Petit déjeuner très banal. Pas de apin, pas de fruit, Le buffet du samedi soir est limité, arrivés vers 20h, il n'y avait plus de dessert. rien pour remplacer, mais prix inchangé;

super rapport/qualité prix, de loin l'un des meilleurs que j'ai eu. Jolie piscine intérieure chauffée avec jacuzzi, chambre spacieuse et propre qui donne sur la piscine et non sur l'extérieur. La réceptionniste chaleureuse et attentionnée, toujours prête à aider et à rendre service. Petit déjeuner continental complet. Bons restaurants tout autours où l'on peut accéder à pied. Je vous le recommande vivement, vous ferez une très bonne affaire.

"Clarion à Gatlinburg: à l'entrée du parc des Smoky"
Très bien situé à l'entrée du Parc des Great Smoky Mountains. Les chambres donnant sur l'arrière sont au calme... Gatlinburg étant extrêmement touristique (beaucoup trop pour nous) et engorgé de voitures, de monde et d'attractions diverses. On peut se faire faire une omelette à son goût pour le petit déjeuner (ce qui n'est pas très courant et ma foi, […] fort agréable), et la piscine intérieure (que nous n'avons pas testée) est de belle proportion. Seuls bémols, le réceptionniste n'était pas super accueillant et n'a pas fait beaucoup d'efforts pour se faire comprendre de nous qui ne sommes pas d'ici et les places pour le petit déjeuner ne sont pas en nombre suffisant pour que l'on puisse tous s'asseoir au moment où tout le monde, justement, est prêt pour le prendre! "Within walking distance of downtown"
We loved the location of the hotel. The staff was very friendly. The room was very clean. The pool could have used some cleaning out due to leaves blowing in but overall was nice & warm. The hot tub needed a lot of maintenance in which one of the maintenance guys did an excellent job of watching the water level. He had notified us that there was a small […] leak & that a plumber was scheduled to come by next week to take a look at it. He was well aware of the situation & did something about it to keep the customers happy. We were glad that it wasn't left alone & nothing done about it. The breakfast was excellent as usual. The fitness center was not functioning. Poor quality. Was not told about the resort fee until I checked out.

"Clarion (Gatlinburg): Nice hotel, lost of freebies"
The hotel was in very good shape with plenty of parking behind the hotel (fairly protected). Breakfast was greater with omelets and eggs made to order and lots of other options. Room was nice - we had a small balcony on the back side of the hotel. We were almost directly across from Ober Gatlinburg which was great.. and plenty of places to walk to. […] The only time we used our car was to go to Pigeon Forge (and we could have taken the trolley if we wanted to). The only 'problem' was that there was construction on the road in front of the hotel which made for a bit more traffic congestion in front - but we didn't hear anything. There was a fridge and microwave in the room and we used both. We also took advantage of the free wi-fi! (it was a little slow, but loved it was free). All-in-all we were very pleased! Highly recommend! (Oh, the kids also loved the heated (covered) pool that came in handy when we got some afternoon rain) Lisez la suite

""Resort Fee""
Wonderful Hotel right on the main road. 2 things tho. 1 - The indoor pool is not connected to the hotel, little inconvenient depending on weather but it did have a changing room and 2 - they hit you up with a $10 resort fee upon check in. Any way to make an extra buck I guess.
"Clarion in Gatlinburg"
Nice two room suite with a view of the surrounding mountains. The hotel is at the end of the Parkway strip so things were quiet. The only down side was all the construction effecting the sidewalk for about two blocks.

"At end of Gatlinburg strip"
Hotel was ok for the price---located at end of Gatlinburg street so it was a long walk in one direction to see everything. No phone service in room--broken. View of the parking lot. Housekeeping slow to respond. However--great "free" breakfast which is why I presume you pay the ten dollar "resort" fee. Overall clean and quiet.
"The Clarion - Gatlinburg"
Stayed at this hotel for 2 nights with husband and daughter while in Gatlinburg. Hotel was clean--smelled strong of cleaning solution when we first arrived, but the floor had just been cleaned--overall not a problem. Beds were clean and comfortable. Room size was a bit small, but OK for us considering we only had one child with us for this trip. Accomodations […] were great--the room included a nice sized refridgerator and a small microwave. You could have planned to keep things for a light lunch/snacks in the room. Our room was on the 2nd floor which was actually ground level for the back/parking lot entrance to the hotel. This also made convenient access from our room to the "covered" outdoor pool. The pool was seperate from the hotel (only a short walk out the back door) and inside of an enclosure of sliding glass/screen panels. The pool area included nice changing rooms and a restroom. The morning we went for a swim the ceiling panels were opened giving it the feel of an outdoor pool--really nice for such a sunny day! The pool was larger than most hotel pools and would have accomodated several people at once. We happened to have the pool all to ourselves that particular morning! One of the best things about this hotel was the amazing breakfast! Two cooks were on staff to serve up scrambled eggs, sausage, hashbrowns, biscuits and the best gravy! They even made omelets to order! As if this wasn't enough they also had the typical hotel breakfast foods--muffins, bagels, yogurt, hot and cold cereal, whole fruit, juice, & coffee. One morning they had a selection of fresh fruit prepared in chilled trays--melon, grapes, strawberries, pineapple! Oh, and of course--a waffle maker too! :) This hotel is located at the base of the mountain. I believe it was the last hotel just before the entrance to go over the mountain. Overall rating was good. Wall paper was pealing and needs attention. Read the fine print regarding the $10.00 resort fee I failed to recognize. Hotel is located within walking distance of most attractions.

"Quick trip"
The hotel was very convenient to everything, we parked the car on Wednesday and didn't move it until we left on Saturday. The hotel is located at the far end of the busy area, just far enough to be quiet and yet a short walk to shopping, entertainment and restaurants. Full breakfast in the mornings was very nice. Made to order eggs, omelets, waffle […] maker, biscuits and gravy. Service until 10am made it nice so we didn't feel rushed in the morning. I would stay here again on my next visit. Lisez la suite
"Great Location and Excellent value!"
We stayed here for 2 nights after Easter and found this to be a GREAT hotel. It is located right on the main strip in Galtinburg and within in walking distance of every attraction. We literally parked the car the day we arrived and never had to touch it until we left. The rooms were very nice and we didn't hear noises from other guests unlike most other […] hotels that have thin walls. The complimentary cooked breakfast with a chef to make you eggs to order is great as well. the also had waffles, bagels, among other items if you don't feel like having eggs. Lovely hotel, very clean. Located at the end of Gatlinburg farthest from the Aquarium. Excellent hot breakfast with made-to-order omelets. There was a small resort fee that had to be paid on top of the price of the room, but the breakfast for my family of 4 was worth the extra cost. We also got tickets to Dollywood from the front desk. Positives: Nice indoor pool with jacuzzi. Very clean. Great location, right across street from Ober-gatlinburg Free parking with plenty of spots Great breakfast Great room. 2 tvs, one in bedroom and one in living room Negatives: Not enough seating for their great breakfast. "Clarion Inn & Suites Gatlinburg! easy town access"
The Clarion was only 2minute walk to Ober tram to ski slope. This is what I went for mainly, so that's a plus. The fireplace was awesome and really soothes that cold chill of being outdoors all day! The hot tub was huge and very relaxing. The only dislike was the fold-out bed...The mattress on it is like 2" thick and our whole unit was bent and must […] have been broken before. Breakfast is another plus. Do not go out and pay for breakfast because they have a full breakfast with 2 cooks. Made-to-order omelets, grits, eggs, sausage, bacon, biscuits, etc. I would definitely stay again, but taking a mattress pad or just gettin two separate rooms to use the bed. Lisez la suite

"Perfect choice in Gatlinburg"
I had checked reviews of hotels in Gatlinburg before booking my reservation and was horrified at all the negative reviews of most of the hotels there. I chose the Clarion because it didn't have any "gross" reviews and I am so glad I did. It was the perfect choice! It appears newer than many hotels in the area, but more importantly, it was completely […] clean, well maintained, and satisfactory in every way. Even on a very busy holiday weekend, service was great and staff were friendly. Of particular note was the free breakfast, which isn't just the standard bagels and cereal, but offers a complete hot breakfast with a chef's station to custom prepare your eggs however you want them. Also worth noting is the fact that the "indoor" pool, is in fact indoors - just not inside the same building as the rooms. That means a cold outside walk across the parking lot in the winter. But it's a great pool - large, clean, and warm, with dressing rooms available. In all, it was a very nice stay and a great value for the money. Lisez la suite
"Not fancy, but quite comfortable."
Good location for shopping and restaurants. Room was clean. Helpful staff. We wanted to change rooms from the back to the front of hotal. This was done cheerfully with no price increase. Excellent breakfast. Only criticism: too much furniture in room. Will stay again when in Gatlinburg.
"Not worth the price!"
The hotel was okay. Nothing special. For the price I paid, I could have stayed at a much nicer place. There was a $9.88 charge for "resort fee" that I was not aware of. The furniture in the room(mainly sofa) was old and worn out. Overall below average
"Walking distance, SWEET!!!!!"
It is in walking distance to almost everything in downtown Gatlinburg. I loved having a balcony to watch the people and take in veiw.
