"Convenient stop between Pittsburgh and Detroit."
Good accommodations. Friendly staff. Good options for a healthy breakfast. Only drawback were our mattresses. We are used to firmer mattresses.

The hotel was nice. Our room was clean, the staff was friendly, and the location was close to restaurants and attractions. The continental breakfast was decent. The bed only came with sheets and no blankets. We had to crank the heat up, in order to stay warm. The bed was ok. "Hotel in Sandusky Ohio"
This Hotel should not carry Marriott name in it's title. No one at front desk to check in. Hotel staff is so short staffed that you have to find someone to help you, if you need help. Over Night Inn would be more appropriate name. I will not stay at any Marriott related chains again, having second thoughts about Marriott!!!!!

The hotel was wonderful. It was clean, updated, provided snacks and breakfast, and a friendly staff. We enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend it.

The hotel is clean, the complimentary breakfast is good. The only crib I have is that the sink was getting clogged and it took a while for the water to drain. Otherwise, the room was very clean and the front desk staff were polite. Recommended.

I never do reviews, but this one is a MUST. Walking in the lobby I was greeted by a very friendly front desk worker. The room was immaculate (and I am a germ freak!!) pool was clean. breakfast was great. the only thing I would have changed was to NOT have eaten at the Brown Derby Roadhouse down the road, it was disgusting!! "Fairfield Inn"
We stayed for two nights for a Cedar Point vacation and were very happy with our stay. The staff was very friendly, the rooms were very clean and comfortable, and the location was fantastic for the park as well as for dining afterward. I would definitely stay here again.

Very nice breakfast. Pool and hot tub were too cold. Hotel staff looked into it the next day and were making adjustments, but too late for our stay.

We just spent the night at the Fairfield after a long day at Cedar Point. I walked in and had my room keys within minutes. They had pre-checked me in to my room. The room was very clean and looked to be updated. The only complaint was I had to send someone down to get a blanket for the roll away bed we needed due to 5 guests. Overall, I would say this was a great hotel, with a very friendly, helpful staff. The price was a little high I thought but it beat the alternative of driving home after a long day at Cedar Point. "Nice, Quiet, Corner in Sandusky"
This is a very nice Hotel. Pool area is just the right size with windows all around. The beds are FANTASTIC. Spent a week at Cedar Point and enjoyed coming back every afternoon for a break in the pool and then at night to sleep. "clean and comfortable"
We stayed in this hotel for one night. We weren't there much except to sleep. It is clean and our room was very well maintained. It is in a convenient location but not in a really busy area. The beds were very comfortable. There was also a mini-fridge which was nice. We would stay again.

I have stayed at Fairfield Inns in other locations and they have been so nice. This one seemed a little run-down or maybe going through some cosmetic changes. The front desk person was consistently away from the desk the evening we were there. Seemed odd. The room seemed clean. As soon as we checked in, everyone was very accomodating and friendly. The room was very comfortable and perfect for our needs. The breakfast satisfied everyone's tastes. I gave the hotel service lower ratings because we stayed for two nights and when we asked the service to come back after we had left the room to straighten up, she told us she was […] done on that floor and left work at 2:00. We were out of the building long before 2 so she obviously did not come back and check the rooms. We didn't return till later in the evening and by that time, it was too late to have someone come in. Great Service, Very clean and the pool in nice. Danny Boys is right across the street and the food is amazing. A must see would be the Skate Park and the Ghostly Mansion and the Kalahri.

Room was clean & hotel was nice. We were only there for the night after spending the day at Cedar Point. This hotel is about 10 minutes from the park, but is VERY easy to find. It is 1 block away from Kalahari Waterpart Resort. There are plenty of restaurants around including Applebee's, Chili's & BW3s. Hotel is old but kept up and clean. The staff is courteous and friendly. The room is comfortable. The pool is small. Get to breakfast early, we got there at 9:30 and they were cleaning up. "Close to Cedarpoint"
The hotel was nice for our one night stay. It was about a 10 to 15 minute drive to Cedarpoint and was in close proximity to restaurants and other stores. The continental breakfast was a nice plus! The only downside was the curtains in the bedroom. They did not darken the room and we had a streetlight outside of our room that kept our room aglow the […] entire night. "Nothing special"
This hotel is adequate for an overnight stay. Nothing special. Be mindful of the time for the complimentary breakfast - the front desk attendant gave us the wrong time and thus we missed it by 10 minutes. The employees could have cared less. That basically ruined the entire stay.
"Clean rooms - Hot breakfast"
Hotel is in good location in Sandusky, just a few minutes from Cedar Point. Hot breakfast is a bonus for early morning departures.

The hotel was nice. The location was great because we were by restruants and stores. The room had a little things that weren't all that clean, but it was nothing major. I would go back to that hotel again. It was a little pricy, but was well worth it.

We went to Sandusky to go to Cedar Point, the hotel was close to the amusement park plus the mall, restaurants, and other shops. Our stay at the hotel was very nice, the room was clean, it was quiet at night and the breakfast was very good. We would stay again.

I needed a clean room for a one night stay for business purposes. There was no restaurant in the hotel, but many restaurants in the near vicinity. The hotel appeared clean, the bed was comfortable and the price was not bad.

"Great Hotel"
We stayed at this hotel because it was close to Cedar Point. The rooms were clean and smelled good. The pool was nice size and clean. The exercise room only had 2 pieces of equipment. That was fine because by the time we got back to the room, we were exhausted. Over all this was a very nice hotel. "Great room for the money"
I would stay here again; clean rooms, clean pool area, comfortable beds. only area for improvement--oatmeal was like gruel, on the flip, there was a variety of cereal, waffles, breakfast sandwiches, pastries, juice and hot drinks.
