Les atouts de l'hotel: un emplacement parfait pour du tourisme, juste à côté de la gare Termini, chambre assez spacieuse et terrasse sur le toit de l'hotel. Les déceptions: le jaccuzzi n'est pas en service même quand il fait 27°C et est minuscule (2 pers maxi), le service bar à la terrasse est décevant (aucun choix et très cher pour ce que c'est). Pour Rome, bon rapport qualité prix même si pour un 4 étoiles, on pourrait attendre plus (c'est davantage un 3 étoiles)

Le séjour a été très agréable, pour des chambres modernes. Le petit déjeuner est très bien, et le personnel très serviable. L'hotel est bien situé à proximité du métro.

L'hotel est plutot bien place a cote de Termini et a proximite du metro A et B, donc access direct au Colisé ou au Vatican. L'hotel n'est pas de premiere jeunesse mais reste confortable. Les chambres ne sont pas tres grandes mais restent habitables. La climatisation ne fonctionnait pas lors de notre passage car trop tot dans la saison. Niveau bruit ca reste acceptable, la rue n'est pas trop passante. Le petit dejeuner est de moyen, le cafe n'est pas tres italien mais ca reste acceptable. Pour le prix de la chambre, ca reste une bonne adresse.

Nous gardons une très bonne impression de ce séjour. Nous avons été très bien accueillies. L'hotel est bien placé, pas très loin du centre ville et des transports en commun. Cadre très agréable.

Séjour avril 2012 avec bébé de 1,5 ans (suite avec 1 chambre). Chambre propre et confortable, design intéressant. Hôtel et quartier très calmes, chambres en retrait de la rue et jardin très agréable à l'ombre des arbres. Chambre assez sombre, qui nécessitait d'allumer la lumière même le jour, donc plutôt un hôtel pour un séjour estival. Wifi gratuit, mais connexion assez lente. Petit déjeuner très bon, même si l'on peut regretter le manque de plats chauds. Quelques améliorations possibles: le personnel ne nous a parlé que du métro, à 10-15min de marche, alors qu'il existe d'autres solutions notamment le bus 628 au coin de la rue qui dessert plusieurs points touristiques très intéressants. De manière générale le personnel offre peu d'informations touristiques. L'emplacement n'est pas le plus central, mais c'est le prix à payer pour le calme. Prévoir entre 1/2h et 1h de temps d'approche total pour le centre touristique. Attention cet hôtel est catégorisé comme appart hôtel mais nous l'avons trouvé plutôt mal adapté à cet usage: pas de four ou de micro-onde, très peu d'ustensiles de cuisine, meubles pas toujours pratiques, etc. C'est une cuisine d'appoint pour des clients qui mangeront la plupart de leurs repas en ville. C'est pourquoi nous ne le recommandons pas forcément pour des familles, même si les enfants seront très bien reçus et que le personnel est très sympathique, attentif et serviable. Globalement l'impression générale reste très positive et agréable.
Situation

Gare centrale de Rome arborant une impressionnante architecture moderne, Termini est le point d'entrée dans la ville à partir de l'aéroport de Fiumicino. Entre la gare et l'élégante Via Veneto, vous trouverez plusieurs sites d'intérêt. Le Palazzo Barberini est un superbe palais baroque, les Thermes de Dioclétien (Terme di Diocleziano) étaient jadis le plus grand complexe thermal de la ville et l'église Santa Maria della Concezione mérite une visite pour sa crypte des Capucins.

Je recommande cet hôtel où j'ai passé quatre nuits avec mon copain. Décors un peu kitschisme (lustre au plafond dans la chambre, coussins décoratifs, salle à déjeuner limite baroque) tout à fait sympa et délicieux! :-) Bien insonorisé. Grande penderie. Très propre. "Hotel Briannia in Rome by the Opera"
We found the hotel Britannia very convenient to major attractions. We could walk to Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, There were two metro stops very close by and a taxi ride to Vatican City was not too expensive. The room was clean and comfortable, the breakfast was varied, plenty of choices. I would stay there again and would also recommend it.

"Hotel is Just off main road"
Room 307 is the most up to date and modern. 304 and 401 are old and tired. All rooms are a tight squeeze but what was expected. Enjoyed stay there
"Hotel Britannia in a downpour"
We only stayed one night and had to leave early in the morning. The room and personal touches were fun and welcoming. Anything we needed was attended to, for instance we were advised to go to a nearby restaurant which was close, good and not expensive in the pouring rain. We had had an horrendous trip to get there it was a good feeling to know the hatel […] management were doing their best to see that the remainder of the trip went smoothly, which it did. The bed was very comfortable, there was a nice littlle bar area. Breakfast was great and included in the bill. The decor was warm and inviting. I believe our taxi driver to the airport arrived early and we needed a few more minutes. ahe was given a capacino and place to sit. All these little things matter to everyone's spirits. Hotel Britannia is a charming small hotel. We stayed in another nice little hotel in a similar location and found getting around okay. Location has a lot to do with what one is looking to do. This hotel is a good value for the money. The room was smallish (we had a baby crib in ours but would have been fine for just two people, we had enough room once we moved the crib under the window out of the main walk area) but very clean. Quaint, traditional hotel located near many of the city's main attractions. Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. "The Britannia Hotel in Rome"
We were in Italy for 10 days and stayed at 4 different hotels, including 2 in Rome. and this, far and away the worst overall and the worst value. This was the only hotel that did not include breakfast in their rate, which is a standard feature of European hotels (note that most travel sites typically say that breakfast is not included in the rate for […] liability/servicer reasons, but at check-in they usually include breakfast with the rate). On top of that the hotel was dreary, with small rooms and shabby decor. The location was fine. To add insult to injury, we had a relative traveling with us who stayed at a hotel that was literally around the corner and this hotel was nice, clean and had huge rooms with great amenities (including free Wi-Fi and breakfast included, along with a nice roof-top bar). . . for 60% of the rate that we paid! Brittania was the second hotel we stayed at on our trip to Rome and we are glad we made the move. This hotel was formerly a private residence and shows all the signs of the care the owner took in building and maintaining it. "Stay at the Britannia in June 2010"
We came in via train from the airport. It was a short taxi ride from the train station to the hotel. Walking distance if you don't have a lot of luggage. I was traveling with one other friend so we got a two bed suite. The elevator was built for tiny people but the staff took care of our luggage so it was no big deal. The room was very nice and clean. […] A bit small but expected. The bathroom was big with a flat screen tv, great for soaking in the tub. The staff were very accomidating, exchanged money, made dinner reservations and gave directions to everything. You are walking distance to the Colosseum, Ruins and Spanish Steps. It is also very close to the Metro. The breakfast in the moring was good, a nice selection of everything. I will stay there again the next time I'm in Rome and recommend it to anyone traveling there. The "standard" rooms are very small, but lovely. Upgrading to the suites would give you a terrace and larger room. Very quiet street in a good area. Great breakfast.
"Nice Hotel for the price"
We loved this hotel for it's old world charm and quality. They had a great breakfast! The only thing that we would keep us from staying here next time in Rome is the location. It was a bit far from the main sites. And since we walk every where, it added roughly an addition mile to our daily hike. Otherwise, we loved our stay!

We were expecting a slightly better hotel and were quite taken aback - the pictures do NOT represent the real thing. The breakfast was excellent and the staff went above and beyond expectations but the hotel needs serious updating.

Levde opp til forventningene, hvilke var høye. Kjempe hjelpsomme og super sentralt. Kunne gå til alt. God og variert frokost. Gjorde oppholdet kjempe bra. På avreise dag fikk bla matpakke med når vi dro fra hotellet før frokost tid. Og de fant ut av alt vi lurte på om Roma ++

"Super service fra personale"
Lille hygeligt hotel med super betjening morgenmad over forventning af et så lille hotel. Værelset vi havde var ikke så stort skuffer bandt dør til badeværelse kunne ikke lukke men vi skulle jo bare sove så alt i alt meget tilfreds Super beliggenhed stille og roligt tæt på hovedgade og ikke langt fra seværdighederne hvis man som os kan lide at gå på […] egen hånd. Hotellet har en andsat til kund at tage sig af gæsterne der gerne vil have guidede ture. Skulle vi vende tilbage til Rom igen tror jeg det bliver der vi bor igen. Lisez la suite

отель хороший, отличные завтраки, расположен в старинном здании. но есть один минус - очень маленькие номера, буквально 10 метров комната и 3 метра ванная комната. а в целом все понравилось) по цене/качество - все супер.

Perfekt läge för några dagars vistelse i Rom. Nära till alla sevärdheter och bra restauranger. Vårt dubbelrum var trångt, de bilder på rummen som visas på siten stämmer inte.

У гостиницы Britannia одно из самых лучших место-расположений в городе. Из особенностей самой гостиницы хочется особо подметить уютный бар. С утра готовят отличный завтрак, гораздо лучше чем в других гостиницах.

Vi besøgte Rom og Hotel Britannia i november 2010 og havde en rigtig dejlig ferie. Hotel Britannia ligger perfekt når man skal opleve Rom for første gang, tæt på det hele og alligevel i fred og ro når man trækker sig tilbage. "Roma weekend"
Vi bodde på hotel Britannia som lå i ,Via Napoli, en sidegate av Via Nazionale som er en av mange hovedgater i Roma. Hotellet lå ca 10-15 min gange fra Stazione Termini. Hotellet lå meget sentralt med gangavstand til flere kjente severdigheter. Det er et lite Hotel men koselig og veldig stille og rolig ,beliggenheten tatt i betraktning. Til å være et […] 4 stjerners hotel var rommet vårt veldig skuffende. Det var knapt 10-12 m2 og meget trangt. Kun en seng 150cm og en stol. Skulle du oppholde deg på rommet måtte du ligge i sengen. Badet var stort og fint. Veldig lytt mellom rommene. Heisen var knøtt liten. Det som veide opp for dette var personellet som var meget serviceminded og hyggelige. De snakket godt engelsk og var veldig hjelpsomme. Frokosten var også meget bra. Beliggenheten var også meget sentralt og reiser vi til Roma igjen vil vi gjerne bo her igjen men med litt større rom!! Værelset var stort, men mørkt og gammelt; billederne på deres website er dygtige skønmalerier. TV virkede ikke. Intet varmt vand om morgenen. Super god service. god morgenmad. Ikke optimal beliggenhed for seværdighederne. Tip: lej en scooter fra bici/ baci lige ved siden af, en super måde at nå at se en masse på.
Bra service av trevlig personal. Härlig frukost. Förvänta er inte att få ett ev de rummen som visas på bild. Det är det nog få som får. De flesta rummen på hotellet är små. Det vi fick var ganska mysiga ändå.

Helt greit, meget stille rom vi hadde (mot en bakgård), men hotellet ligger i en sidegate til en stor gate så vil tro de fleste rom er rolige. Resepsjon og frokostsal ligger en etasje ned for gata, greit nok. Ingen uteplass å spise på. Veldig trang heis. Passe stort rom. Bra standard, safe på rommet. Trygt valg - kan anbefales.
