the freeway noise was so loud that i enjoyed very little sleep

Hallway reeked of pot one night. Right next to the highway and poorly insulated for sound - perfect for waking up to the sounds of traffic. Shower drain was clogged. Oh, and terrible karaoke coming from their bar/lounge. PS, worst towels ever. Threadbare and scratchy.

Nice and comfortable place to stay.

They have done a great job upgrading the motel. Nice place to stay & a good price.

Our last night in the hotel was on November 26th There was an inccident at 2:00 a.m and a homicide investigation started. The 4th floor had a party of young people(very noisy) and someone ended up with a gunshot wound(homicide according to the news paper) The noise lasted from 2:00 a.m. till I checked out at 10:00 with police all over the hotel. Clean, Comfortable room at a good price. Convienent location.

Decent enough. Small room, small bathroom and tub, bare neccessities. Cleaned up ok. Awesome free breakfast! Bar and restaurant are ok, good food. Has a lot of locals that hang out in the bar. Fitness room is kind of a joke, but I never got a chance to try it. I would like something a little more upscale next time.

A very nice place for the price and attentive staff. Very convenient location, nice self-serve breakfast area and it even had a good little bar / lounge downstairs. I would stay there again.

Very clean staff very friendly. Would not bother looking anywhere else if I returned for another holiday.

This hotel is about a 20 minute walk to the actual downtown area of Spokane, and getting to the downtown center requires you to go through some pretty seedy neighborhoods. The breakfast offers the usual dry cereals, hard boiled eggs on ice, extremely diluted coffee; on the plus side, there was a nice assortment of pastries. The plastic cups and plastic […] cutlery are a real turn-off though. The room's smell upon entry was pretty stale, and there was definitely a faint smell of smoke still remaining in the room. Very nice Hotel to stay in. Clean rooms with many amenities. More than I am used to getting at similar hotels. Nice Pool and lounge area. Quiet Bar with friendly people. All in all a great place to stay and easy to get to from I-90. Niced large lighted parking lot with no worries.

All was generally GOOD But the road out front is very beaten up but that's city problem. The parking lot is not every big. Problem was after coming back from the movies 11:30pm Saturday night there was no parking left and a tour bus toke up at least 5 spaces. Another customer was at front desk too and could not find a parking place enother. The clerk […] said that the bus was to be in the back [that was full]. And we should park out in the street. NOT MY CAR '56' Ford SWG. He did say it was OK to park in the lot next door. Warn the guy if something happens to my car I am holding him responseable. Car was ok the next moring. Turns out the Motel has a club in the lower floor and some band was playing that night. So the cluber were to park in the back or next door took up stayers spots. This is my only complaint. The "business center" at this hotel is a joke. 1) You can't use a usb "...because of security concerns" 2) there are three Pentium 4 computers 3) internet speed is slower than dial-up - when you can get it to connect 4) there's one computer hard-wired to the printer - the one computer that would not connect to the internet - at all. The female shift […] manager had serious shortcomings with regard to her knowledge of the business center and did not know that she had the capacity to print a usb file from her computer. Thankfully, Chris (I hope - for the sake of the hotel, another manager) intervened. Unfortunately, his intervention was after I had struggled for over an hour to send a compatible file from my laptop to the "business center" through e-mail. Just incredible - that a hotel's business center could be so backward and their staff (shift manager) so uninformed - and rude. Yes, rude. Unbelievable at it may seem, in this economy that a hotel could afford to offend its customers. Did I mention the cigarette smoke smell in the room? Unbelievable. Quality Inn - I don't think so. This hotel is not new, but has been kept up well. The staff go out of their way to make sure you are satisfied.

A delightful experience both times we stayed here (December 2010, July 2011). The room was roomy and clean, the breakfast plentiful and delicious, the front desk staff very helpful. We had to check out early (family emergency) and the front desk clerk was willing to refund our unused nights' reservation. Plus, the free cookies were delectable!

The check out girls were very welcoming and helpful. I especially liked the business center where you could work on the internet at your leisure. I was able to print out our boarding passes and even do my e-maiing which saved me lots of time. Thank you for such a wonderful stay. Only downside is that we were there on the day that Manna was closed (Sunday), […] so had to go by foot to a restaurant across the freeway. Lisez la suite

My only complaint was that the room was a little small. Otherwise, everything was great - and the breakfast was wonderful.

We needed the hotel close to airport.. and it was only about 10 - 12 minutes away. Shuttles don't start until 8 am. We had to be at airport at 6 am... I can understand and no problems. Only negative...One of the female front desk attendants must have been under stress when I told her there was no hot water in the coffee area.. she pretty much barked […] at us. again I was only informing her and could care less, but she should take some courses on how to deal with people.. I think she would be better suited in the back room accounting position. Breakfast was hot and cold.. it was great!! Would we stay there again... definitely!! .. I loved my room. There was one problem. In the evening when I returned to my room I couldn't get the water to turn on. Eventually, I called the front desk. I was told the water was turned off because there had been a leak. It was returned to normal about 10:00PM.

It was very easy to find from the Highway. Staff were friendly and helpful. Free parking. We were on the backside of the hotel, so we had no highway noise. Rooms were clean.

The breakfast was not as good as the other reviews I eat in my opinion. It’s close to the freeway and surprisingly we would barely hear the traffic but it was still faint in the background. The rooms could use a little updating, but for the 1 night that we stayed there it was just fine for us and we stay again if we needed too.

We arrived in Spokane because of a death in the family, upon arrival we were given a king non smoking room that felt a little cramped and small. The welcome pamphlet wording seemed to assume all who stayed were thieves or trouble makers as to warning you not to be offended if you were stopped by security or police. Found that alone offensive but thats […] what part of town it was in. So we were just gonna leave there and find somewhere else to stay. Amber at the front desk told us we could change rooms and really went out of her way to accomadate us. I said it was fine and we would make the best of it. After being there and realizing that we were upset about the reason of being there and not with the hotel, we saw how convienient the location was to our family that lived there and how great the staff was at meeting and exceeding our needs that we just came to the conclusion that our grief had made us blind to the service and accomadations they provided and we actually enjoyed our stay there. I would say that the staff is genuinely warm and inviting and that the location is in the center of town and easy to find. We would definately stay there again and would recommend it to our family and friends. The price was minimul to the service provided. When you understand that people live differentlly than others you see that its all really the same. Amber and Kathy at the front desk were great and housekeeping were attentative to our needs. Thanks to them all. It made our stay a lot less stressful, Death is never easy and they helped us through with thier wonderful service. We are very thankful for that. Thanks Again. Lisez la suite

Great price. Nice location right off the interstate & short distance from middle of town. Looks like it's been updated recently. Staff was super nice and they actually took the time to call to our room and make sure everything was okay with us without us having to ask for anything (even though we didn't need anything. The hotel was relative to the price. Room was okay, the breakfast was good. I would consider this hotel when I visit Spokane again.

Overall we were happy with our stay. The building is a bit old and run down, but they were doing the best with what they had. A few nice perks for the $: good breakfast, clean pool, super comfy pillows, lots of towels. Some of the cleaning crew members were unprofessional in the halls (complaining about how busy it was, annoyed about the elevators), […] but all of the other staff were very nice. This is not a luxury hotel, but it was comfortable. We have no complaints at all. We stayed one night on our way to Glacier NP. If location is important, ie within walking distance of tourist locales, this is not your best option. But the drive to downtown and the river is short. The neighborhood and hotel are adjacent to I-90.

everything was fine and my only issue with this hotel was a smell in the bathroom
