Dommage qu'il n'est pas un shuttle de et vers l'aéroport de Chicago car je me suis fait avoir par les taxis qui prennent $60 pour faire à peine 15 miles, alors que de l'hôtel à l'aéroport les taxis prennent un forfait de $29. La moitié du prix de l'aller !!!

j' y ai séjourné récemment une semaine. Hôtel récent et très accueillant. Les chambres sont très grandes et joliment décorées. La chambre est équipée d'un frigo, four micro à onde et cafetière. Grande salle de bain avec douche, lavabo et WC. L'entretien de la chambre est fait chaque jour avec renouvellement des produits de toilette. Petit déjeuner copieux sous forme de buffet. Possibilité le soir de commander un repas qui vous est livré dans votre chambre par un restaurant italien. Accès gratuit à internet. Je recommanderais et retournerais volontiers dans cet hôtel accessible à pied au centre ville et proche de WILLIS TOWER.

Hotel tres chaleureux par son accueil et son organisation. Café ou thé disponible a toute heure. Excellent confort de la chambre. Choix des chaines de TV gratuites un peu limité mais WIFI gratuit.. Quartier sympatique et centre ville tres facile d'acces par bus ou metro.

Tres bon hotel pour visiter Chicago (a cote d'une station de metro et a 15min du centre ville a pied). Propre et relativement coquet (plus qu'a changer les rideau un peu vieux style). Pour point negatif, nous retiendrons le manque d'isolation phonique avec le couloir (pas avec les chambres).

Stayed at The James and our experience was superb. Great location and the rooms were very cool. The staff was exceptional especially the Doorman. The David Burke steakhouse in the lobby is overrated, back to Morton's for me.

Nothing bad to say about this hotel except room was a little small but for the location and price it's a steal. The beds were comfy and service was exceptional. I guess the one thing that could use an upgrade is the tv. It's a HDTV but there are no hd channels, not that I watched a lot of tv. Gotta catch sports center in the morning though. "The James-Chicago home away from home"
In many ways this is better than home. The bed is the best I have slept in at any hotel here and abroad. The Gym is not the largest but the equipment is incredibly well chosen. In fact the gym is one of the reasons we don't ever consider another option. The rooms are "high tech" in decor with very nice bathrooms. We have been upgraded a couple of times […] to a "junior suite". Paid for one one time. Also have stayed in the larger and smaller standard rooms. While you have more space in a suite obviously, they are all just fine! The location at corner of Ontario and Rush is just a short block from Michigan Avenue. Some very good restaurants are near by. "Downtown location both a plus & a curse."
Close enough to walk most everywhere downtown, however, very noisy because of traffic (i.e. sirens, horns honking...).

We only had one night, but the location provided great access to shopping and many good restaurants...allowing us to get the most from out of our short trip. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Rooms were modern, cute and very clean. The workout facility was amazing...best I've ever seen iin a hotel.

We love Chicago and all it has to offer. We stay downtown 3-4 times per year. When we bring our kids with us they always request The James. Our four boys look to this hotel as being their home away from home. Found this hotel on Yelp. It is just off Michigan great location. Staff very friendly and helpful. Will stay again next time in Chicago.

Great location and staff. Love the bar in the lobby and Prime has some of the best food in town! They need to touch up some of the rooms & fixtures ,our handle came off the bathroom upon opening and our window was broken letting in a draft all evening. Other then that I will definitely stay there again upon my next visit.

have to go to chicago partially every other week for work. The James is now the only hotel I go to, also have my clients stay there also, service is friendly and spot one. the only thing i found disappointing is that that stopped making my favorite marini there. I wish they would bring it back.

The James was certainly a pleasant surprise. Very clean, modern and eco friendly with "triple filtered Chicago water bottles" in the room. Furniture was Ikea-ish and simple. Beds very comfortable. Located close to shops and restaurants. Free bedtime healthy muffin each night. Would definitely stay here again.

Close to Magnificent Mile. The staff was pleasant and we even ended up with a complimentary room upgrade. The room was very comfortable and we were pleasantly surprised when we returned from dinner to have our bed turned down, a little sweet treat to eat and bathrobes placed on the bed for our use. We would definitely go back.

We spent the weekend at the James Hotel and are looking forward to a return visit. The James is located just one block from the Magnificent Mile and two blocks from State Street ~ perfect location for a weekend stay. "My choice in Chicago"
I travel quite often to Chicago. The James is always my first choice. Excellent service in a really nice, clean and well designed hotel. The hotel is situated just a couple of blocks from the shopping on Michigan Avenue and close to a lot of very good restaurants, bars and night clubs.

The hotel tries to be hip and modern but comes across as tired and the price is not at all justified given the state of the hotel ! The front desk service is poor but the housekeeping staff are helpful.
