"pretty nice"
room was nice , but the beds were too small , they must have been only full size. No coffee pot in the room. Ice has to be brought up by a hotel employee , they have no ice machines. Its down town and a bit hard to find , parking is underground but not real convenient.
Great boutique hotel with a historic atmosphere.
Nice staff, no in room coffee maker was a inconvenience.
Loved the Andaluz. The hotel is a treasure. the food and the personnel were great.

Great Staff Beautiful hotel with wonderful amenities. Will stay again.
"The Andaluz in Albuquerque - an oasis of beauty"
This historic hotel in the heart of downtown Albuquerque has been beautifully refurbished. It is full of native art and our room was incredibly quiet, modern and comfortable. Best bed I've ever slept in! Friendly service and the breakfast was outstanding. I recommend the huevos rancheros.
"Hotel Andaluz ABQ"
We enjoyed our stay, the service is excellent, I loved the library and cas bahs. We also had magnificent breakfast and dinner at their restaurant. Convenient location to many places in particular the Sandia Peak tramway.
"Beautiful hotel, quality service!"

"Great weekend at hotel andaluz"
We had a great time!! Really nice great service and atmosphere
"The Andaluz is special"
I lived in ABQ twenty-five years ago, and used to listen to music at La Posada....which is now Andaluz. It is even nicer now, with incredible attention to detail, art everywhere, beautiful lighting, an excellent staff, and a wonderful restaurant on the first floor. The rooms are a little small, but they reflect the era in which the hotel was built (1930s). […] It has to be the best hotel in Albuqerque. Lisez la suite
My wife and I had a wonderful time we stayed over St. Patricks day weekend so we tried the corned beef and hash and it was one of the best I've ever had. After dinner we sat and listened to live music and had some cocktails. All in all it was a great stay and we might do it again on our next anniversary.
Only complaint was room service, (food) . Very slow, 1 1/2 hr for dinner. Ordered cups of soup, brought bowl and charged for bowl. Blanket at end of bed has balls at end of bar. Blanket kept falling of the bed, Kept having to pick up and place back on bed.
"beautiful hotel"
. The hotel was beautiful, comfortable, and the staff very welcoming. The only complaint I might have is a $16 valet parking charge.

"Refreshing"
This hotel was modern but had so much character. This offered all the ease and amenities of staying at one of the large chain hotels, but had all the charm and uniqueness of a boutique hotel. Sometimes I shy away from non-chain hotels when on business, but this hotel was excellent and the business center was first rate.
"Historic hotel with attentive staff"
Very nice stay in Albuquerque in this historic hotel. Attentive and friendly staff and delicious Lucia Restaurant dining. Close to everything - I will return!
Overall, a pleasant stay. Quaint and botuique-like. Excellent service and food service. Nostalgic but slightly cramped room/BR space. Excellent art and historical architectural appointments. Prices a good value. Would recommend it to anyone.

"beautiful hotel"
in downtown ABQ. We usually stay at the less expensive Hotel Blue, but they were booked. Although our room was pretty small, this place is a big step up in the luxury department. Architecturally stunning, everything done to renovate this old Hilton hotel in the style of 19th century Spain is spot on. Also, very eco-friendly and modern at the same time. There […] was a live band, as well a mariachi band serenading a young couple at dinner. Good time! Lisez la suite
The bed was one of the most comfortable that we have slept- I could not get my husband to get out of bed to go downstairs for breakfast!! When we did get downstairs for breakfast- it was after serving time by about 15 min-but the waiter asked the chef and he went ahead and made us a wonderful breakfast-very accommodating- and the coffee was very good- Our […] room was a studio queen suite- a little on the small side and we had a little trouble getting the lights to work, but they immediately sent someone up to our room from engineering-the hotel lobby is beautiful-and they have live music on weekends. "Great Service"
The Andaluz was a very nice hotel and the rooms were small but well laid out. The customer service was top notch.
"faulty equipment"
first room, the elevator shook the entire wall of the room, nicely relocated to a second room, where the thermostat did not function, it was 90 plus when we woke up in the middle of the night with the fan blowing at gale force winds. Then the third third room of the night now 2:00am, and although comfortable, again could not get the noisy fan to turn […] off. They did buy us breakfast, but we still paid for the room, go figure? "Hotel Andaluz - Albuquerque, NM"
Beautiful hotel, great meeting spaces available in the lobby area, amazing service - super friendly staff, wonderful room -- except for one small problem with the heating in my room -- but overall a fantastic experience.....I will definitely be going back!
"Good but not great"
Shower wasn't hot, front doors were locked at 10:45 so getting back in was troublesome, you have to pay for parking, and downtown ABQ was completely dead at 9 PM on a weekday. Otherwise, pretty good hotel.
"Not as Nice The Second Time Around"
The hotel is a classis get away for myself and my wife. This is the second time we spent our anniversay at the Hotel Andaluz. This time we were disappointed. The shampoo and soap dispensers in the shower were out of soap. Something I didn't find out until I was in the shower. After dinner at a local resturant we went back to the hotel for a glass of […] wine which we decided to take back to the room. My glass of wine, red, was full of sediment and tasted like it had started to turn. Normally I would have sent the wine back, but we had already gotten comfortable. We notified the front desk of the problems the next morning and were told that we should have notified them earlier. Yeah, I'm soaking wet, standing in the shower, and I'm going to call so that they can come to fill the soap dispensers. We're scratching this one off our list of places to stay for our anniversary. Great European-style hotel; great staff & restaurant.
"Windy Andaluz/ABQ"
I reserved an unplanned night at the Hotel Andaluz in late November 2012. I booked through Hotels.com and was given a room upgrade on check in for my hotels .com price. The room was great, with a huge bath tub, separate and large shower, a "pillow menu" on a quite large bed, absurdly large TV, no additional charge "hard wire" internet (very nice), pretty […] good mini bar with decent bourbon, and etc. The common spaces in the lobby are most interesting - I found myself wishing I had a posse to book one of the cool, comfy lobby "nooks" for drinks and chats The weather in Albuquerque was unusually dismal, cold with sustained (truly) 50-80 mph damaging winds (apparently a freak eastward movement of the Santa Ana winds that hit CA at the same time) that made going out sans car unattractive to inconceivable. So, since I checked in early, I had three meals in the hotel restaurant - a lunch, supper and breakfast - the quality of food varied from B - to A in my estimation. The food service and hotel service was all A+. I did like all the vegetarian options on restaurant/room service menu. The usual plenty is there for mostly meat eaters. I am still feeling guilty for not tipping the doorman/porter who loaded my luggage in the cab for the airport on departure I plead middle to old age and high wind distraction, but when I confessed my failure to the cab driver, he offered to return my tip to said doorman/porter (whom he claimed to know) and I gave him an appropriate sum. I hope that happened. I recommend the Andaluz. Based on a wind distracted and somewhat scary short walk, downtown ABQ looks much more interesting than it did when I spent a summer there as an intern over 30 years ago. I will go back. And stay at Hotel Adaluz. Lisez la suite

"The Gorgeous Hotel Andaluz"
This hotel was just outstanding, with little touches that made it really a wow. Turns out it is THE original Hilton hotel, built back in the 30's but recently grandly renovated. It has a library with a fireplace and business center with large-minitor computers. I'm a reader, so I loved the little reading lights available to both sides of the bed. The […] service was as personable as I've had in years. Just lovely. Lisez la suite
"Hotel Andaluz in Albuquerque"
What an absolutely wonderful hotel. The decor is uniquely beautiful and all of the staff went out of their way to be pleasant and helpful. The room was immaculate as well. This was my second stay at the Andaluz, and I cannot wait to return. Such a gem!
"Albuquerque Find -beautiful downtown hotel"
My husband and I stayed one night at the Hotel Andaluz and were very impressed. Wished we had more time there. This old historic hotel has been beautifully renovated, keeping old-fashioned touches but adding more modern things in a complementary way. The staff was very solicitous, restaurant was a cut above hotel food, room was comfy. Added bonus, lots […] of "green" features. We loved it! Lisez la suite
"Beautiful upscale hotel in the heart of downtown"
Our recent stay at the Hotel Andaluz was great! The staff were all very attentive, the room was beautiful, and we enjoyed spending time with family in one of the beautiful semi- private sitting areas in the lobby. The split bathroom was great for getting ready in the mornings and the decor was unique and inviting. The bed was super comfortable and everything […] was squeaky clean. The only down side of this hotel was the low flow bathroom fixtures which provided for a less than satisfying shower, and the aerated faucets sprayed everywhere. Nonetheless, I would highly recommend this hotel. Lisez la suite

"Great hotel"
This is a beautiful hotel - it used to be La Posada. It is in a very good location. We stayed in the King Suite, and it was great. Big room, modern, clean, and the views were awesome. Highly recommend it.

"Hotel Andaluz Albuquerque"
The staff were all very courteous and the hotel was clean and comfortable. Room was fine. This is an old Hilton crafted hotel with features from a bygone era. Parking was in a public garage next door that was suppose to have security, but when we went to retrieve our car there was absolutley no one around. No one to even take our exit ticket. The exit […] gate was wide open. Since our car had luggage in it, that was not a good feeling. Regard the hotel as being a bit overpriced for value received. Lisez la suite

Excellent! My new favorite hotel in Albuquerque!
"Hotel Andaluz is a jewel"
I needed a good nights sleep after a difficult several nights dealing with the hospital stay of my husband. this hotel is newly elgantly renovated. The most comfortable bed and bedding. Built in the 30s as a Hilton, it is filled with charm and comfort. A very unique place. I did have to pay for parking ($8.00). When I checken in I explained about my […] husband. They sent up free room service. How nice! Lisez la suite

"Oasis"
I was concerned as I pulled up outside, but once I stepped through the front doors, I knew I had found an oasis. I stayed in a suite, which had a great view. I was not as impressed with the menu selection for dinner at Lucia and the hashed potatoes at breakfast were so over spiced that I could not eat them. I would definitely stay here again, I would […] just find alternative places to eat. Lisez la suite
"Great Hotel .... !"
I loved the character of the hotel. It was very comfortable and friendly service. This was my first trip to Albuquerque and it was a great experience. I probably stay here every time I go back.
"Hotel Andaluz - it coulda been a contenda..."
Pros: The hotel itself is a lovely remodel of the original Hilton hotel. They've done a nice job of juxtaposing old and new elements, and the overall esthetic is top notch. Exceptionally clean throughout. Cons: The neighborhood is a little rough. Parking is in an unconnected facility, and not well maintained or lit. The biggest downer for me was the […] 'eco-friendly' showers, which amounted to little more than a trickle. For what you pay for the place, a bar of soap would've been nice as well. Overall: Nice place, especially the restaurants, but there are enough misses that I likely wouldn't stay again. The lounge with balcony view is a good spot for a date, however. Lisez la suite
