chambre bruillante, tv hs, heureusement j'ai payé 65 euros la nuit pour 3 (2 adultes 1 enfant), tarif en avril ( pour une chambre double avec 2 lits de 140, bien pour un couple avec 1 ou 2 enfants ), à noter que les chambres sont communiquantes ce qui expliquent pour partie le bruit mais peut être un avantage si vous avez plusieurs chambres à louer […] (couple avec enfants en chambres séparées) car au delà c'est cher payé l'emplacement. possibilité de stationner sa voiture compter 15 dollars canadien et de la laisser en stationnement le jour du départ (moyennant finance entre 5 et 10 dollars, évidemment car au canada tout se paye !!!) Bref, faut pas rêver, un hotel dont les chambres vieillissent avec le temps mais pas les prix ! pour un budget serré, celà peut convenir 1 ou 2 nuits, pour les plus "fortunés" à éviter Lisez la suite

Other than the really hard mattress & pillows, our king size bed, room size, hotel location, and everything was better than expected!! I've come to expect "you get what you pay for" and the cheap deal I got, I had low-moderate expectations!! The location's proximity to the ROM was our primary deciding factor. perfect for what we needed: little time spent in room, easy walking to shopping, museum, family, subway. only one treadmill no pool but not needed if you use the beautiful city sidewalks! continental breakfast enough to get you started on your day.

The Howard Johnson Hotel Toronto Yorkville was very nice! The staff were friendly and helpful and the location can't be beat! We were especially pleased that they let us check in early, since our room was ready. We were also happy with the luggage room, which allowed us to stow our bags for a few hours after checking out. Decent place to stay, nice alternative to the places right in the downtown core. Good access to city via transit or by car. Room was enormous, clean, just a few carpet stains and some trimwork needed around the room. A bit dated, but for a place to crash it was priced right. Only problem was the telephone in the room did not work. (Front desk informed us they were working on it) Also, no fridge in the room which was our fault for assuming there would be. Otherwise, good location to main attractions and the price was good.

hotel is badly in need of reno's but it is clean. TERRIBLE customer service. sarcastic and rude staff. surrounding neighborhood is wonderful.

This hotel was subpar to say the least. It was practically in downtown Toronto, which made it hard to get to from the highway. In addition, although not noted on the site when I booked, the parking was an additional charge of $15 per day, plus 13% tax. Great location to all attractions and food

Situated in Yorkdale, a few miniutes from the subway, the Royal Ontario Museum, and other attractions. Rent a bike from bici for a few bucks and take a tour of the city.

great service, good bargain, breakfast is bland but overall not bad.

I stayed on the 8th floor with a King bed. The room itself is very nice - except for the bathroom. Just to sit on the toilet, I have to squeeze myself in between the sink and the wall. For its location and its not the Ritz but clean, c omfortable and affordable in downtown TO. Staff are friendly and helpful. Rooms are basic but clean.

I was pleasantly surprised to find a very nice clean, comfortable bed with nice linens. I paid a very good price, and although the entrance, lobby, and elevator was a little shabby, the room was clean and comfortable. The location is great - very close the the Royal Ontario Museum and the University.

Price was great for the location. Centrally located. Hotel meet our needs. If you want all the luxuries you will need to pay more and should look at other hotel. But if you want a basic clean room in central TO this works well.

Very close to the subway, close to shopping places, Very good location, very welcoming staff, good cleaning ladies, The only thing I didn't like about the hotel is the breakfast they offer.

Hotel is dated. Rooms are fair. The location 5 minutes from the subway and the low rates are far and away the best thing about this place. Not a hotel you want to spend a lot of time in your room but its TO and you shouldn't be in your room except to sleep anyway. Low water pressure on the 7th floor. Staff is ok.

Hotel staff friendly, worth the price, free breakfast and free wifi...

I wasn't sure what to expect when booking this hotel. But I was pleasantly surprised. The staff was very curious and helpful. They just did a remarkable job. Only complaint was lack of counter space in bathroom and could use some updating. Its located on the outskirts of downtown Toronto so it can take you 15 min to get to the heart of Toronto by subway. […] 30-45 min walking. Parking behind the hotel was nice. The only complaints I have are 1) The hotel wanted to charge a refundable deposit for incidentals ($ 50.00) which would be refunded in a week or so, if paid by credit card. This I found very unusual. 2) The TV only had 32 channels available and I could not watch PBS,BBC or BNN

The staff is super friendly and when i told them the room was cold they gave me a portable heater. The room is great if you just plan to sleep and shower. The decor is out dated. The area is awesome...very ritzy and "Beverly Hills". The beds were super hard tho and I woke up with a stiffness. But you get what you paid for!

Hotel could use some refurbishment, but if you're just looking for a place to sleep for a few hours, it's OK, and priced affordably. Shower curtain leaked water because of improper installation. good clean rooms. close to downtown. staf very helpfull

We have stayed here many times over a number of year. The front desk staff esp. "Ali" is excellent. It is a small quiet hotel within walking distance of downtown or take the subway that is very near. It is not a five star hotel but very worthwhile.

I needed a comfortable bed for the night prior to an event and did not want to spend a fortune. I got exactly that. The continental breakfast was a pleasant surprise and the staff was helpful and courteous. Would stay again.

This hotel was pretty good, and would stay here again. Something that was a bit of a surprise was the front rooms (52's) didn't have internet access because of the layout of the hotel. The walls were to solid to allow the signal to come through. Otherwise, a great hotel for the price.

My personal advice to hotel management to install an exhaust fan in the toilet. I felt miserable after morning ablutions as the toilet had unbearable stink. I was told this hotel does not have toilet ventilation fans et al. It is shocking for a Canadian hotel.

The hotel, has a fantatic location, just around the corner from Yorkville, all the money you save on the room you can spend in restaurants. The front desk staff is wonderful, so friendly and helpful, best I have experienced in a long time. The rooms to be very truthful are a little tired, very old style, pre duvet and pillowtop mattress.The bathroom […] was small but it was clean. Considering the amount of sights in toronto, didn't spend much time in the room. This hotel is just down the street from The Bata Shoe Museum, 2 blocks away from the ROM, 2-3 blocks from Bloor Street, will stay again,. The hotel is very run down and in need of repair. The sheets did not fit the bed properly and there were not enough towels in the room. The "continental breakfast" cosisted of a dozen stale muffins and a basket of croissants. There were no utensils and after seeing a few people pick through the food with their bare hands, we decided to pass on the breakfast. […] The tiles in the shower had mildew between them and could use a good scubbing. Considering the cost of the hotel we would have expected it to be in much better condition. Parking was an aditional 15 dollars per day which we were not told about until we arrived at the hotel. My mom slipped and fell in the bathroom because there were no safety bars installed for seniors in the bathroom near the bathtub or sink. She could not get herself off the slippery floor when she fell. Luckily I was there and could help lift her up and thank goodness she did not break anything and did not hit her head, but we got quite a scare! Also, […] the bedroom was nice and large and clean but had no sofa or comfortable chairs to sit on while watching TV. The chairs were hard wooden chairs from 1800 I think. the hotel was in a good area for us we only have one complaint and that is the air conditionar not working very well

This hotel is in a very nice neighborhood. But the hotel itself was far from nice. I had two rooms and neither one even had an fan in the bathroom. The beds were not comfortable and the breakfast was horrible. Also the parking was horrible. I have usually bad good luck with hotel.com but this was not their finest offering.
