Endroit très paisible, fort bien entretenu, les suites sont spacieuses. Le mobilier est un peu démodé et la décoration plutôt sommaire. Le personnel est plutôt accueillant et l'hôtel est très bien situé dans la mesure où l'on peut tout faire à pied.

le cadre est sympa mais le petit déjeuner laisse a désirer ! Obligation de parler l'anglais car aucun effort est fait par les receptionniste pour ceux qui ne connaissent pas l'anglais voir le créole.

Excellent séjour mais attention certaines chambres peuvent être très bruyantes les nuits de week end (en particulier la 9), proximité d'une boite de nuit...Pas eu de problème pour changer de chambre, côté mer et retrouver la tranquillité. Situation bien pratique pour l'accès au club de plongée sur la plage de Soufrière, l'accès aux bus le long de l'église : toutes les destinations possibles pour quelques EC dollars, possibilité de faire le petit dèj et de monter des repas dans la chambre (excellent chinois dans l'immeuble au rez de chaussée)

"Très bon séjour"
Contrairement à d'autres appréciations qui nous ont fait d'ailleurs un peu peur je l'avoue, nous avons été très bien accueillis . C'est un très bon hôtel qui offre un excellent rapport qualité prix et qui est bien placé non loin du centre ville de Castries . Nous y avons passé un excellent séjour en famille ,tout est conçu pour s'amuser avec de nombreuses […] activités nautiques (kayak, pédalo, ski nautique, voile... tout ça gratuit). C'est la seconde fois que mon ami et moi y sommes allés. Un hôtel à recommander. Très bien situé entre Rodney BAy et Castries avec un arrêt de bus juste devant l'hôtel. Très agréable et chaleureux avec un personnel aux petits soins pendant tout le séjour. Il y a une grande piscine au milieu. Mais il existe également deux autres piscines de part et d'autre […] pour les chambres un peu excentrées. Un petit déjeuner très copieux avec des omelettes à la demande, du café servie dès que votre tasse est vide. Nous avons disposés d'une très jolie chambre avec une belle vue bénéficiant d'une position idéale près de la piscine, du hall de spectacle et non loin de tous les restaurants. Il y a chaque midi pour ceux qui ne veulent pas s'assoir dans un des restaurants d'excellentes grillades sur la plage. Pendant notre séjour la mer n'avait pas du tout bel aspect ce qui fut dommage. je ne sais même pas le nombre de piscine que cet hotel possede, pour la simple et bonne raison que le peux que j'ai pu voir était sale alors cela ne vous donne pas envie d'aller voir le reste. Les sols autour de la piscine est vraiment infecte, vous avez interêt de porter des chaussures si vous ne voulez pas attraper des microbes. La plage est petite et les transats sont tous déjà réservés si vous y allez trop tard. Des activités nautiques sont proposées sans supplément. Beaucoup de queue pour le ski nautique. J'ai été très surpris tout de même de me faire interpellé par des dealers au bout de la plage le jour de mon arrivée ! La présence des vigiles les écarte mais ils ne sont pas toujours là. This is a true 3 star hotel. We stayed in an oceanfront room which was clean; the mattress, however, was not comfortable. The grounds are well kept up. "Good (but not great) family holiday."
This was our first all inclusive holiday. The room was basic, but adequate. The bed was comfortable. The fixtures and fittings were dated and in need of some attention- one of the towel rails fell off under the weight of my swimming trunks! The general finish of the hotel was a little rough around the edges- paintwork unfinished. Swimming pools very […] nice- 2 allowing kids and 2 for adults- a nice balance- none were overcrowded and loungers were a plenty. Bars also in close proximity to the pools. Our only real complaints were the standard of the food, and the variable standard of the bar staff and reception staff. Food was good at the children's pool (lunch and afternoon snacks). Quality and choice was also good at the Palms. Service and quality was lacking at the Bamboo and the Pier restaurants in the evenings. The Pier, however, has a good lunch, and with the sun setting over the sea and the warm breeze blowing in, you can almost accept the poor food in the evening for the great setting. The bar staff in the evenings seemed to be having as good a time as us, and that included helping themselves to wines and cocktails too. We had an evening flight home, and all week we had asked reception for a late check-out. We were fobbed off at least 4 times during the week with excuses like 'we can't be sure of availability until later in the week'. Nice hotel, staff friendly and always professional. Met at check in with rum punch. Food was good at the restaurants, one buffet style, one snack, and three more that say finner dinning( these three need reservation). Make reservations at the other restaurants early as they book up. Kayaks, hobie's, water ski, all included. There are many excursions […] available that will pick you up from the hotel. We rented a car and did some stuff ourselves, caution drivers! roads are narrow and have many sharp turns around the island . So the bad now: this was a working vacation for me, there is no business center or access to a printer. I had to print some confidential paperwork and was told to email it to hotel so they could print, obviously not acceptable. In these modern times everyone has a computer/tablet/cell phone there was only two spots on the whole resort that had connection to the internet. By the pool bar and the lobby. Problem was when more than a few logged on the internet slowed to a point that it didn't work, so many guests were having problems that it was obviously a huge problem. "Our week at Morgan Bay Resort"
There was much confusion when we arrived. We had chosen, after consultation with their staff months earlier, a particular building because of our limited mobility. On arrival they wanted to put us in a different building but we stood our ground and eventually got the room we had originally reserved. The shuttle service was excellent. The drivers were […] superb and the shuttles were an appropriate size and in great working order. There was little concern over our lost luggage and we were brushed off when inquiring of it's arrival. Our Canadian travel clothes were hardly suitable for the hot sunny weather of St. Lucia. The food service was well done for having so many guests. It stretched us a little trying new foods (including green banana soup). We had all but two meals in the Palms restaurant, the others were one lunch and one dinner at Morgan's Pier. Items of clothing sent to the resort laundry clearly marked as having food stains were returned with the stains intact - clearly frustrating considering these were brand new clothes. "Disappointing resort"
The overall experience was very disappointing. While many guests were greeted with rum punches upon arrival, we were not despite the fact we had to sit in the reception area for an hour waiting for our room. Since we were on our honeymoon, we were promised the honeymoon package which was supposed to come with a photographer and a bottle of champagne […] in our room. We recieved the bottle of champagne on the second day we were there but the resort had no idea about the photographer. We were also told that our building was the newest building which was supposed to be recently remodeled with state of the art amenities. However, it was in the process of being remodeled and we not only had to listen to construction all day but walk through it to exit our building. In addition, we had a small, old tv, that we could not control with the remote. It would have been nice if the door to the balcony had a screen door so we could leave it open with out being swarmed with insects. As far as the food was concerned, the only good meal was breakfast and even that could use some work. They do not do a good job of keeping birds and bugs off the food. For lunch, the occasional beach bbq or pasta station were the best options. As for dinner, we were not only disappointed but disgusted. Since I was on vacation, I shouldn't have to work to get a drink. The bar staff was unfriendly and not eager to make drinks. Morgan Bay Beach Resort, was by far one of the most beautiful places I have ever visited. Not only was the resort accessable and functional, the staff met every expectation and need my fiance and I had. A special thank you to the wait staff of the restaurants and to two wonderful ladies that tended the bars, one for her way she brought out fun into […] the night with her continuous dancing, the other for being more attentive than just serving drinks. The staff went above and beyond to make certain everyone was comfortable and welcome. The smiles and professionalism made our stay most enjoyable, and we look forward to having our wedding at Morgan Bay as well as honeymooning their. The island and resort are beautiful. The service was mediocre. The majority of the staff were clueless and clearly in need of supervison. Some staff, especially bartenders, were simply rude (and yes, I was tipping). The first 3 days of the trip the food was inedible, the last 4 days of the trip there was imrovement in the food (not sure why) but was […] still just ok. I hate to write a bad review but in all fairness, serve something edible. Also, the idea of the resort being all inclusive and then charging $3 for a locally bottled water is petty and embarassing. "Nice, but not top of the line."
This hotel was nice. I enjoyed the food and service very much. The beach was private, which is what we were looking for. I also loved how the water sports were included. There was water-skiing, knee-boarding, sailing and windsurfing. It was lots of fun. But there were a lot of negatives about this hotel. The first thing we noticed before we even left […] home was that the hotel name changed. When we booked on Expedia.com it was called Almond Morgan Bay Beach Resort, and then when we left for St Lucia the name was Morgan Bay Beach Resort. We didn't ask why the name changed, but we thought maybe it had lost its Almond status due to a failed inspection or something like that. When we booked the hotel is was half-off for the room price, which was nice. When we got there we realized we wouldn't have paid full price for it. Our hotel rooms were nice, but needed some repairs. Also, around the hotel there were a lot of things that needed repairing (broken chairs, cracked bathtub, etc). None of these things prevented us from having a great time, but they were unsightly. Another weird thing was that during two of the nights people were repairing things with hammers and other loud industrial tools and it was between midnight and 3am! One last thing that we thought was weird: every once in a while, on the north side of the beach the hotel dumped water into the ocean. It smelled like sewage! "Relax at the Morgan Bay"
Just returned, we travelled from 21 Feb to 2 Mar 12. The hotel was very well presented, the reception is open plan and very stylish. We were warmly greeted and once key cards & safe keys had been allocated, we were ferried in the golf buggy to our room. The room was very clean and had a lovely view over the sea (1st Floor - Superior Beach Front Rm […] - 600 block). There are plenty of sockets covering both 2-pin US (110v) and 3-pin UK (240v). We kept the AC on permanently, but easy to control with the remote. Big TV with Cable TV, clock radio. The room was furnished nicely and well lit. There are 4 resturants, the Palms, Morgan'sPier, Bamboo and Le Jardin. You have to book tables in advance for all except the the Palms - note: be sure you do book! They allow you to book 3 days in advance, and don't leave it too late in the day else you'll end up with a 9pm sitting. In order of preference: Bamboo, Morgan's Pier, Palms, Le Jardin. The Palms offers a 7-day rotating themed menu. The others seem to have a set menu each evening. Lunch is served in Palms (buffet style#, Pier #BBQ Buffet# and Bamboo #3-course menu). The quality of the food considering the quantities of food being served was great. The beach was clean, open and had great shade if you want it, there are decent pools, bars and great water sport opportunities - I got Hobie Cat training while I was there and had a great time impoving my sailing skills. The hotel and grounds were quite nice. Some of the items like air conditioning was not great. The phone in our room never worked. But most importantly the place was too quiet for us. "Stopover at Almond Morgan Bay"
Enjoyed our 1 night at Almond Morgan Bay. Only slight problem was we had booked a room for 2 adults & 2 children through Expedia but hotel had only been advised of 2 adults and our room only had 1 double bed. On notification, Hotel responsed well, and offered us a move or to bring in 2 extra single beds. We chose the latter and whilst we were at Dinner […] all was taken care of. Our stay was wonderful! The staff and all of the people we met on the island were so friendly and willing to make sure our stay with them was perfect! The room was clean and the beach was beautiful. We had a wonderful time at this hotel. The quality of service was excellent as was the food and drink. Exceeded our expectations in every area. Impressed with the free water sports and the evening entertainment wasn't bad either but we would recommend spending some evenings away from the hotel i.e. the street party in Gros Islet. "Extremely pleasant stay"
Quite close to Castries, the Almond Morgan Bay is just off the main road traversing the island. We hired a car in Vieux Fort and drove over, allowing us to explore St Lucia as well as having the benefits of an all-inclusive. The hotel was great, with extremely welcoming staff, who were both helpful and friendly. I really appreciated the slightly formal […] touches- booking into a restaurant for a proper a la carte dinner each night, dressing properly in the evening etc was all marvellous, with none of the awful cattle market buffets for evening meals. The watersports were lots of fun, although some of the Hobie sails are getting slightly tired, but the staff couldn't have been more helpful or vigilant. You do have to sign up for things early tho, as they get booked up quickly. The beach is quite small for the size of the hotel, but wasn't particularly crowded, despite the myriad of sun loungers. A rather old property which is showing its age. Needs money spent on it to be more competitive with modern all-inclusive hotels. Staff quality varied enormously, from the very friendly and excellent to providing an acceptable level of service only begrudgingly, which suggests a management problem. "Horrible staff"
Don't be fooled by picture! The staff are rude especially the female staff. This resort is a real snooze, if your looking for entertainment stay somewhere. If I could give this resort a zero rating I would! Do not stay up on the hill the view is not worth the hike, trust me.Avis véridique Expedia
"The good the bad and the rude."
The hotel is approximately 1 1/2 hours from the airport. We rented a car and drove the 2 lane winding highway ourselves. We enjoyed the flexibility of having our own car (we heard other guest saying it cost $30 to go to Rodney Bay - a 10 minute taxi ride away). There is no charge for parking your car at the resort which is a nice change from the U.S. […] We upgraded to a one bedroom suite since we were traveling with our 2 children. Upon checking in everyone was so nice. We booked dinner for 2 of the 4 nights we were there - later we found out we could have booked for the entire visit at that time. Our first problem arose when we got to our room and found we had only one tv, and it was in the bedroom. I called the front desk and was told we only got one tv and we could have it moved. My husband tried to move it to the living room but it didn't have the correct plug for that room. I would assume there would be tv's in both rooms, the point of having two rooms so the kids could watch what they wanted in the living room. Instead they ended up in the bedroom with us! Nice family time but not what we intended. The burn of this is on our way to dinner the first night we saw maintenance driving up to our building with 2 flatscreen and 2 tube tv's (we had a very small tube tv in our room). Later in our stay we talked to a family who received a brand new flatscreen in their room! The Palms buffet was scheduled for our first nights dinner (this was done by the staff on check in). The food was marginal and we are not picky eaters! The staff could not have been less attentive. After 45 minutes we never received our drink orders! The only morning we were going to eat breakfast at the Palms I waited 15 minutes without receiving my coffee order - I left and met my family at Bamboo. The staff at Bamboo were wonderful. I don't think it hurt that we left a tip ($10) after our first dinner there.
