Fairfield Inn by Marriott North Fossil Creek - Fort Worth

The motel needs some updating. There were cracks in the sink that had black stains and the tiling around the hot tub also showed mildew. The hand rail to the hot tub has been broken and needs repair. The beds are extremely comfortable and the motel is quiet. It sits next to interstate 820, but the room was very quiet. I did not hear the traffic.

Aaron at the front desk was very hospitable and just a nice guy. He went over and beyond the call to assist me with directions and suggestions of places to take clients..

I love Fairfield Inn's by Marriott. You can never fail. Love them

I stayed for one night on 2/16/12 and my room was very comfortable and clean. I didn't have time to try the breakfast because I was running late but the dining room was full. Free breakfast is alwasys good. There is construction on 820 and it seemed to go on all night so the noise was annoying.

Little high on price but overall great stay

Even with the construction everything was easy to get to and we have family in the area. Someone needs to check the hot tub temp was 108 so we could not use it. The hostess said it close at 8 but the sign said 11 please inform employees on proper hours for tub and pool and how to check the temp. this person was clueless. Thanks

The hotel room was ok. A bit small, but it was fine for 3 nights. The staff was super friendly and the free continental breakfast was awesome (boiled eggs, waffles, french toasts, etc).

I got the room at half of what I normally pay for a room, so I was surprised to find the hotel and room were nice and clean. I really want to comend the hotel staff for going out of their way for me. For example, I got sick the morning of check out. Most hotels push you out the door. Not this one. They offered to let me check out 2 and 1/2 hours late. […] Then let me keep my room when I couldn't leave. Also the woman serving breakfast brought out the full breakfast when I was late and was happy to do it. I was also late to chech in. I called the hotel at 1 AM to let them know I was not going to make it in as planned. They said no problem and they were not going to charge me for the night. I am truely grateful! Lisez la suite

When I think of Marriott as a brand, I have a certain expectation. I realize that a Fairfield is not one of their grand, beautiful hotels...but it should be decent at least. especially since its still priced like a Marriott. I've stayed at Motel 6's that were better maintained than this place. Peeling wallpaper, cracked sink, dirty, musty drapes, a […] TV that didn't work, lackluster breakfast, odor in elevator, and a staff that wasn't exactly rude..just passive and simple. The hotel was listed as "being conveniently located just a few miles from the Ft Worth Stockyards and downtown...which I suppose is technically true. it doesn't say that due to the location it will take you 20 to 40 minutes to get anywhere entertaining or useful within those few convenient miles. The front desk people did not begin to be helpful...no knowledge of local attractions..and actually laughed when i asked for a shoehorn and a sewing kit. Granted...few people make use of shoehorns, and it was no big deal that they didn't have one...but was laughter actually necessary? No. More often than not...if I asked any question I just got a glazed over look and a "I'm not sure" You'd think over a two day stay, I'd encounter one knowledgeable staff person..but again...No. Disappointment is really just the tip of the iceberg...I guess if I want actual quality and customer service I should try something other than Marriott brand hotels. Room extremely noisy at night.. Could not get a decent night sleep, knocking sounds, elevator shaft right behind room. Apparently room is used for hearing impaired guest, nothing on website or at front desk to advise of this. Requested room change after first night and were told nothing available.

Money's worth, very, very helpful staff!!

The pictures looked real good online. Thank goodness we got at discount. We got what we paid for.

We lost our A/C at home due to a thunderstorm and needing a place to get comfortable rest due to the hot temps we were having. Not only was this place very quiet but the beds were so comfortable. The staff we encountered were very pleasant and helpful. The morning breakfast foods consisted of a nice variety of cereals, fresh fruit, asst. bread, waffles, […] yogurt and more. My room was over the office. The view out my window was a stucco wall which was the back of the wall over the front door of the hotel. It was noisy most of the time. I wondered if this was the type of room you get if we use your service, hope not. There was a lot of construction of the major roads in the area...just an FYI for you.

Had the most awesome, courteous staff! Mike helped with directions over the phone to find my way to hotel at 1am. Helped me get drycleaning done in a day. Clerk let me use staff computer to print boarding passes in a hurry when lobby computer was busy. The free breakfast had so many varieties of hot & cold choices & the popcorn & cookies in the afternoon/evening […] was a nice snack. Had patio outside by indoor pool so convenient to visit with friends. The shower heads had like spa/jet spray water with curved curtain roads for ample room. I will be using this hotel on all my return visits and plan to book a reunion and have us all stay there! Lisez la suite

My A/C went out and it was a last minute quest to find a place for the kids and myself. I had two sleepy children fresh from NRH2O and a night full of homework. The nice, clean, and comfortable beds made getting up a chore. The internet access saved the day. I would definitely recommend the Fairfield Inn to anyone looking to relax. Nice hotel, very nice and helpfull staff... very hard to get too .. on a side street that gets confusing.. neighborhood was so so... over rated.. I would give it a 3...out of 5

The breakfast was ok...would not rate it any higher than that...but it was free..so you get what you pay for.... Buuuuut with the overall price of the room, per night..I think this establishment can produce a better breakfast...

Our stay at the Fairfield Inn and Suites in Fossil Creek was very satisfying. The hotel was clean, the breakfast was great. My husband commented on how comfortable his bed was, and he is usually not comforable in a motel or hotel bed. we really enjoyed our stay. it was very easy to get to, nice neighborhood. all the staff was very friendly and helpful. it was very clean. the pool and hot tub were just the right temps. breakfst was very good. efinetly recommenc

We stayed at this hotel for 4 nights. It was great. No complaints at all. There was a complimentary hot breakfast every morning. Free WIFI. The pool and hot tub were open from 6a-11p everyday. The beds were comfy and bathrooms were clean. It was close and convenient to everything. Will definitely stay there again when we travel back to Dallas.

The hotel was in a business park type area, and felt like a good area of the city. The hotel was pretty clean overall, including the rooms. hotel was very clean and easily accessible from interstate. staff very cordial and helpful. would recommend hotel to others looking for an affordable and comfortable place to stay

The primary reason I selected this hotel was because of its location. It is right off of 820 and not too far from I-35W. Depending on the time of day, traffic can be heavy but if you plan your activities around rush-hour traffic it isn't that bad.
