Une jolie chambre simple, design, avec un poisson dans son bocal, un patio, des meubles pratiques (table à repasser, nombreuses serviettes). Le matelas n'était pas super confort, et attention hôtel bruyant (ils jouent au bingo au bord de la piscine jusqu'à minuit, pour les couche-tôts c'est pas l'idéal). Mais on se gare facilement dans les environs, même si le quartier n'est pas très intéressant (en voiture c'est pas très grave). Mais à 20 euros de plus qu'un motel traditionnel c'est quand même une belle affaire, et un lieu assez unique.

La "chambre" est en fait une vraie suite qui comporte un séjour, une cuisine équipée, un bar-table, un coin bureau, une chambre à coucher et une grande salle de bain. Le lit est un king size super confortable. Il y a aussi un balcon où on peut prendre un thé tranquillement. Le seul hic de la chambre, c'est que le bruit de la climatisation est incroyablement fort! Heureusement, on arrive en avril, pas besoin d'allumer la clim tout le temps. À propos du petit déjeuner, le choix est satisfaisant (il y a même du riz et des nouilles instantanés!), mais le service "œuf fait sur place" est disponible seulement dans la semaine.

Super Hôtel, services et chambre impeccable, le petit déjeuner est très copieux et compris dans le prix de la chambre et le must des boissons chaudes et des fruits disponibles gratuitement au Desk H24. Je le recommande vivement.

Bon rapport qualité/prix de la chambre - quartier avec restaurants, mais pas dans le centre (20 min à pied). Le petit déjeuner (à la carte) est un peu cher.

our stay at the La Quinta was very pleasant it was comfortable and the staff was very nice the rooms were very clean. I didnt care for the parking it was too tight and small the location is easy to find but very crowded overall it was comforting!

It could have been better. My room was right in front of the elevator and on top of the kitchen, My room smelled like burnt food one morning. The housekeeping was good. The breakfast was okay. the variey of food was limited. The hotel decor was nice and the morning staff was very pleasent.

Hotel is neat and clean. Not a fancy place, but good for a basic rate hotel. The breakfast is excellent. They have two staff members present during the breakfast. The food is freshly prepared and always well stocked.

"Not Bad For A Weekend Get Away"
The location of the hotel was kind of a bummer. Just trying to get to the hotel was a pain. Parking was fair. Just make sure you dont get back to park your car after 10 p.m the structure gets too full. I heard they renovated this place, looks good. The location of this place was amazing to la jolla, pacific beach, downtown sd and coronado. It could of been in a nicer surrounding location. The bathroom was clean and peaceful. They could of vacuumed the floors more and kept up. The price was a little too much just for one saturday night but oh well. The quality of the television sucked and was not clear. Too rhasphy of the quality of the screen. They include breakfast but mcdonalds down the street had better taste. The eggs were too milky. The biscuits were like it was microwaved and not fresh. But free food is better than no food. It was just okay, needs improvement. I would stay here again if it was cheaper. Also, now i know the quickest way of getting to this place off the freeway. "Book top floor only"
It's a relatively comfortable and certainly clean hotel. But if you're not on the top floor, you're gonna get a lot of noise, especially whenever your upstairs neighbor flushes their toilet -- like a jet engine!

"pleased"
I was very satisfied with the cleanliness, staff, & quality of this hotel. There was no wierd smells or loud noises. I loved having my car in a parking garage. + the continental breakfast was decent enough saving me money on my food budget! I will definitely look this hotel up in the future!

The hotel has recently been remodeled and it is clean and attractive. Staff is very courteous and helpful. The continental breakfast is the best we've had in a hotel and the breakfast lady is a delight. We were very pleased with our stay and would definitely stay there again. "La Quinta pacific beach"
Excellent hotel. Just remodeled a month or two ago. Free parking in a garage. Right off I-5 on Garnett ave. close to all the PB bars, only a short cab ride away.

Hotel was clean well kept. The breakfast was excellent! The best hotel breakfast I have ever had. There were two people helping and cleaning the dining area. The food was very good and freshly made.

"Disappointing"
We've stayed at several La Quinta Hotels before, but nothing like this location. The hotel is still under renovations and building supplies are laying around the parking garage. We were given one of two wheelchair excessible rooms, because it was available with a King bed that I reserved. The water in the shower turned off as I was ready to shower. […] I quicky called the front desk and the manager arrived at our room. He said that the room was recently renovated but they are still finding things wrong. He could not fix the problem and quickly moved us across the hall to another room. The new room was nice and clean but the TV was not working. I called the front desk and they sent someone upstairs, as he tighten the cords and turned the microwave on then the TV turned on. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. The location is in a run down area. Really wanted to check out, glad it was just for one night. Lisez la suite

Newly remodeled, this La Quinta has a great location (near an In-n-Out Burger, to boot!), and is a tremendous value. Great breakfast, friendly staff, highly recommend.

Overall not a bad place to stay, located near all major attractions. The only issue is they're remodeling to become a La Quinta, and you could tell with all the work going on. Service is friendly and Breakfast is a bonus.

They didn't have the room that I reserved online available when I got to the hotel. The hotel itself was under major rennovations, so it was very noisy all day long, and most of the amenities were not available. Staff made an effort to accomodate for the trouble, but it was still very inconvenient. No longer a Holiday Inn - Construction going on - Cigarette butts and dirt in hallways - Very disappointed in stay.

Hotel is in a somewhat questionable location, and parking can often be a hassle as it fills up quickly, but overall this is a great place to stay. "smelly lower floor."
We were assigned a room in the lower/basement level. We asked for a room on a upper floor , but she said nothing was available, this was at 7;00 pm. The lower level had a musty , mildew type smell . The pool is way too small for the number of rooms at this hotel. The pool was too crowded for my wife and our 2 sons to swim or sit in the hot-tub. We checked […] every half hour up till pool closing time, then we sat in the hot tub for 5 min . Then came a hotel employee and said pool is closed, I explained our situation and had to beg for 5 extra minutes. I would not stay here again !! Very nice and friendly staff. Location was a little 'tricky' to get into but directly off the freeway.
Our room was nice but it overlook the storage lot of a car repair shop with dismantled vehicle and trash, our window did not have a curtain that we felt could not stop people from the outside looking in the room it made us feel uncomfortable, and there was a security light that shined in our room we had make a temporary curtain to block the light, and […] several times in the mornings starting at 4:30 trash trucks would do their pickup underneath our window, when we mentioned these issues to the management they wrote down what we said and that was it. Couldn't have asked for nicer people, they went out of their way to help me print up boarding passes. Breakfast was great, also.! Room was quiet and clean.

"Ten min. from beach"
Loved the price and the hotel. The room had a great set up and had everything we needed (microwave, fridge etc.). Not far from the beach and parking was always avail. Off the road a little so noise was not an issue. Great choice

Overall the hotel is ok. The room was nice, the staff was friendly, and the rooms include a small refridgerator, microwave and a flat screen T.V. On the down side: the walls are paper thin! For 3 of the 4 nights we stayed all we could hear was full on partying and loud conversations throughout the night. It was very hard to sleep. Based from what we experienced with the room condition of poor maintenance and the manners of staff, we DO NOT recommend this particular location to anyone. Electrical problem is a major maintenance in a hotel facility, and they failed to take care of this condition. "Not exciting, but more than adequate"
The desk was efficient, the halls and rooms were clean, and the breakfast had hot eggs and meat. The hotel provided a very pleasant and comfortable stay. We were there to visit family, but the beach, Sea World, and other attractions for vacationers are within a short diving distance.

"holiday inn"
I haven't stayed at a holiday inn in a long time, I was a little surprised when I saw it was more dumpy then I remembered. The floor i was staying on was underground, next to the parking garage and the laundry rooms. The rooms were good size but everything looked kinda run down. It was a cheap night and you get what you pay for so I can't complain. […] All was to be expected otherwise. Service was great and they had my reservation ready upon arrival.
