"Great location in the Garden District"
Overall, we had a good experience at Prytania Park Hotel. The room was offered at an affordable rate. The Garden District location was convenient for visiting several areas of the city. The only issues that I had was that the bathroom floor that was not cleaned as well as it could have been (smeared dirt) and the front desk receptionist was unfriendly. […] She did not even make eye contact at check-in or check-out. These were minor concerns. Lisez la suiteAvis certifié Expedia
Everything was excellent. Loved the hotel and service. The beds are the best I have ever slept in and want to know what kind of mattress. The hotel also was in a excellent location to good restaurants and the trolley car. Can't wait to come back.Avis certifié Hotels.com
We only stayed the one night but it was close to a lot of things and the best was the free parking.Avis certifié Expedia
We originally chose this hotel because of the free parking, but we were pleasantly surprised to find that it offered so much more The courtyard/passageway was a very pleasant place to relax and read, as well as a nice, comfortable place to enjoy the free breakfast. Like New Orleans itself, there were traces of third-world ambiance amidst the modern […] conveniences. We visit New Orleans at least once a year, and we definitely be making this our first choice hotel. Lisez la suiteAvis certifié Expedia
"Good hotel in the Elegant Garden District."
This is a good hotel in a good location. The Garden district itself is an attraction and this hotel is right in the area. It's nearby to the St Charles Avenue Street Car which takes you directly into the centre of New Orleans. With the free parking it's much better than trying to stay in the Centre. Free breakfast too.Avis certifié Expedia
Nice older hotel, exceeded expectations , Staff was greatAvis certifié Hotels.com
This hotel was very nice for the price. The trolley to the French Quarter is very close and convenient. The neighborhood didn't seem that great when we first arrived but it was fine and we felt safe. The bed was very comfortable and the room very clean but we had to buy pillows because the pillows provided were flat. The breakfast was not bad. We took […] a walking tour of the garden district which was great and we could walk to the start of the tour from the hotel. New Orleans is expensive so this was a good deal. Would stay there again. "We loved Prytania Park"
My husband and I stayed at Prytania Park for two nights. It was a wonderful little hotel. It was slightly confusing at first for parking and where to enter the lobby to check in. But it took us no time to figure it out! Parking was wonderful and felt safe. We loved our room! Breakfast was very, very basic ((ex. Cereal, yogurt, bagels, Danish.. Etc.)) […] but the breakfast was free and was good! The bed was wonderful, too. Very soft and comfortable! The staff was friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend this place! We will be staying there again! Lisez la suiteAvis certifié Hotels.com
"Great location for Universities and City"
Hidden gem!Avis certifié Hotels.com
Great old hotel. Beds on split level. No good for watching TV by all.Avis certifié Hotels.com
I cannot complain about the amenities. The location was perfect and the staff was friendly. However, three of the four on our vacation who stayed here, including myself, developed a rash during our three night stay. Could be the detergent they use to wash linens. Nevertheless, I cannot recommend a rash-inducing hotel.Avis certifié Expedia
Housekeeping is certainly lacking! Tile floors weren't mopped once in the 5 days we were there. Didn't clean bathroom or pick up dirty linens and replace with clean two days. Charged us for using the in-room phone for local and 800# calls. No phone books to be found anywhere. Not a place I'd stay again, but then again, New Orleans isn't a place I'd […] ever visit again. It's dirty and smelly and the streets are nothing but potholes! Worst vacation ever! Lisez la suiteAvis certifié Expedia
"Nice hotel situated in the Garden District."
Situated in the Garden District, the hotel is ideal for short walks to plenty of eateries and shopping. The hotel has a private, free parking lot and free breakfast that you may enjoy in your room or at one of the outside tables.Avis certifié Expedia
"Charming Atmosphere; Great Location"
Close to the Blind Pelican (25-cent oysters) & Voodoo BBQ ($2 brews) - so can't beat the location (and right off St. Charles for the streetcar down to the French Quarter.) Room was clean, comfy, and hotel overall was charming. Enjoyed the bagels for breakfast outside in the courtyard as well, and the delicious cookies and muffins at the front desk when […] I checked in! Lisez la suiteAvis certifié Hotels.com
"free parking, relatively quiet"
at first i doubted we were going to enjoy our stay because it was a good deal i thought it would be less comfortable. first night it was a little noisy but the next two days it got quiet and we were really comfortable. i like that it is in the center of everything. in the garden district and close enough to french quarter, plus the other guests were […] really nice and respectful. the staff were also nice. i definitely would stay here again, probably get a king room. i recommend this to everybody. free parking is a plus. perfect location. Room was very clean and comfortable. Beds were very comfortable also. I would recommend it. Parking a real plus.Avis certifié Hotels.com
A good value for the money, easy access to the St. Charles street car and, therefore, Bourbon Street to the French Quarter. Clean suite, very pleasant staff. Good quality continental breakfast. Free internet.Avis certifié Expedia
Staff were very helpful with emails prior to arrival, but the girl on arrival was not very welcoming at all. The rooms were small but clean. The building could do with a good paint job. Close to the trolley carts and only a 5 min ride into Bourban St. Breakfast was continental, but a good variety of foods. Bathroom was tiny.Avis certifié Expedia
"Cozy and Comfortable"
My Wife and I booked this room because of location for a mini vacation on our way back home from Texas and we thought the place was great! The room was cozy and clean. The ambiance was exactly what we were looking for. The bed was super soft. The staff was friendly, and helpful. We spent one day in the French Quarter and one day at the WWII Museum. […] Room was a good price and included free parking! I would definitely stay here again. Lisez la suiteAvis certifié Hotels.com
"A conviently located hotel , reasonably priced."
We have stayed at this hotel many times. It is clean, reasonably priced with good resturants close by. Free parking is a hugh plus !Avis certifié Expedia
"Cosy rooms cutely decorated"
We stayed here for a week and found our room to be cosy and very comfortable. We had a room on the bottom floor near the front desk, it was very quiet and nice and cool. The courtyard has bamboo trees which add a little bit of green to an otherwise cement enviroment. The trolley to the french quarter is about a 2 block walk from the hotel. We loved […] riding the trolley but would prefer to be in the french quarter the next time we visit New Orleans. In the evening the ten minute cab ride back from the french quarter costs about $8. The trolley runs until about 11pm. The continental breakfast was very basic, could have been better if they offered fruit. Lisez la suiteAvis certifié Expedia
"Affordalble, clean, good location!"
The hotel was a block away from the trolley, which was great.; it will be better when the construction on the trolley rail is complete. We were also looking for a convenient location with free parking. We were very pleased with our stay, and had talked with friends who had stayed there. We will go back to NOLA, and plan to stay at the Prytania Park!Avis certifié Hotels.com
Charming little place. Don't expect big chain amenities, but the place is real cozy and close to several restaurants, trolly and nice parks. I had some work at the Riverwalk Mall and walked there (took about 25 min). Loft rooms are nice, but I didn't need the extra bed and would get regular room next time. Neighborhood looks rough, but it's not and […] wife felt very safe. Lisez la suiteAvis certifié Hotels.com
"Nice Place in a Great Location"
Nice spot in the garden district minutes from the main trolley line. Ample parking was great. Neighborhood doesn't seem sketchy at any hour. Local dining wraps up early, except for a Japanese place across the street on St Charles that was great! Didn't use bell services; checkin girl was perfunctory. Housekeeping staff very friendly and accommodating. […] I recommend, and would stay again. Lisez la suiteAvis certifié Hotels.com
"Comfortable rooms in a great location"
We loved this place. The staff were very helpful and kind and the Garden District is a gorgeous place to stay if you are keen to enjoy the French Quarter but not sleep there! Within 30 minutes' walk of great shopping on Magazine Street and 5 minutes' from great dining on St Charles Avenue and Magazine. Be sure to try Juan's Flying Burrito on Magazine, […] just around the corner. Highly recommend this lovely hotel! Lisez la suiteAvis certifié Hotels.com
"Nice hotel convenient to Garden District"
Staff extremely helpful and polite. Hotel is old and looks it which one may assume for the Garden District. Extremely convenient. We took the St. Charles trolley almost everywhere.Avis certifié Expedia

"One of the Best Hotels in New Orleans"
We always stay here when there is availability. We love this hotel.Avis certifié Expedia
"Better than expected."
Not your standard run of the mill chain hotel. Loved the individual 'units' and the court yard. Didn't feel like a hotel at all, but rather your own individual apartment (albeit without the kitchen). Was a bit apprehensive at booking, but was pleasantly surprised upon check-in. Staff was very friendly. Nice area of town. Walking distance to some good […] restaurants. Close enough walking distance to some of the more popular areas of New Orleans. If I ever found myself in New Orleans again, I would definitely book this hotel again. we were really satisfied with our room, it was very clean & newly renovated, the hotel itself is quiet & tucked away in a nice neighborhood, walking distance to all your needs (food, drinks, etc), the staff is nice & helpful. no complaints.Avis certifié Hotels.com
"Comfortable affordable hotel in decent location"
Decent hotel with mostly friendly staff. Rooms small but cozy and well-equipped. Seemed renovated, bath and room in very good condition. Good experience if it hadn't been for the noise levels during the night!Avis certifié Expedia
"More of a motel"
Our room was on street level which meant you can hear cars and people go by. A "fake" door and no bars on the Window which would have Made us feel safer on the street. A few blind spots when walking around to get to your room which wouldn't have been so bad had the rooms not been easily accessible from the outside public.Avis certifié Expedia
"Great Location for First Visit to New Orleans"

"I HAD THE BEST AND FUNNIEST TIME EVER!"
AWESOME!FUN!SUPER COOL! EVERYTHING WAS A TOTAL BLAST! i WOULD STAY AT THIS HOTEL EVERY TIE I GO OUT TO NEW ORLEANS!Avis certifié Expedia
The only trouble with the Hotel is the stairs. Ask for a room on the main level and you can avoid the workout. Best part of the Hotel is the free parking.Avis certifié Hotels.com
"A French Quarter Hotel inThe Garden District."
Small, comfortable hotel w/ a courtyard in the French Quarter style. Very reasonably priced.Avis certifié Expedia
Liked the free parking and hotel location. Breakfast ok, no fruit. One of the beds was very soft and had a sink hole. Pillows just ok. Other bed hadn't been cleaned underneath in quite a while. I found a dusty sock underneath it. Nice lotion, soap and shampoo.Avis certifié Hotels.com

"Great Cozy Getaway in a Fabulous City"
Second year in a row, we have stayed @ the Prytania Park, we just love itAvis certifié Hotels.com
I stayed here for a business convention and brought several people with me -- because it was close the convention center, and I thought we could easily arrange transportation (either with the street car or taxi). This was difficult because taxis couldn't find the place … and the street car requires transfers to get you to convention center... I arrived […] late (around 10pm), and when given my room, I discovered there wasn't an elevator or anyone to assist with luggage to get me to my room on the 2nd floor. I had 2 very heavy bags, and because of recent back surgery, I couldn't carry them myself. Front desk clerk was rude…and told me they were a historic hotel…huh? Lisez la suiteAvis certifié Expedia
