"close enough"
Breakfast (free) was really good with fresh fruit, waffles, omelettes, and more. We took our bicycles and rode from the hotel all around downtown. It was a great way to see the town. Room was very nice and just big enough.

Wow! Everything was great! The people, views and the convenience of downtown with a much better price. We were so close to everything and got started with a free HOT BREAKFAST! Again WOW!!!

Hotel was minutes away from all that chattanooga has to offer. Staff was extremely friendly and willing to help with all of our questions about the area and attractions near by. My kids especially liked the fresh baked cookies that were at the front door every afternoon when we came through the lobby. Breakfast was perfect for adults and children. Something […] for everyone! "Not right downtown, but close enough"
This is not within walking distance to any attractions, but it's just a couple of miles, so if you don't mind driving, it's really not a big deal (especially for the price of this hotel). Nice, clean room, comfortable beds, really nice breakfast. No complaints! Family of 5 in one room with a rollaway for an extra $10 - a good night's sleep for all!

We enjoyed our stay at the hotel. The front desk were professional and helpful with directions to places we wanted to see. I like staying at the Hampton Inns because of their breakfast. It is very good and a nice variety of breakfast items. It saves me time and money. Thank you.

"Nice stay"
Our stay was indeed nice, the only thing that was miss leading was stating it was downtown. I was looking for a hotel to be in walking distance of the strip and it is not.
"Right off the highway - easy to get in and out"
We arrived late, and left early - satisfied during our short stay. It was easy how to figure out how to access the free Wi-Fi. As far as the breakfast - I would stick to the fresh fruit, cereal, pastries, make your own waffles, toast, yogurt. In other words - stay away from the "eggs."
"Unable to handle a crowded hotel"
We asked for a handicap accessible room when we arrived. They changed our room. They didn't tell us that the bed was a full size not the king that we need. By the time we got back and realized it was only a full, there were no more rooms available. We always stay at Hampton's because of their breakfasts. This one again, was a let down. "Noisy a/c - heater"
The room was fine but the load a/c - heater woke me up several times during the night. It was too cold to not use the heater so we had to deal with the load noise all night.

We stayed twice on a recent trip to Florida from Chicago and found the location, food, service ,wifi, ambiance, etc great. On our return trip Bernadette was especially helpful at the front desk with a scheduling error from Hotel One. Thank you! Hope to come again! Elmhurst. IL
Stayed overnight for cheer competition at Convention Center. Most downtown hotels were already booked. Hampton Inn had availability. We were pleasantly surprised. Hotel was clean, lady at the front desk was very friendly. About a five-minute drive to Convention Center, 10 minutes to aquarium. Would stay again.

Great room, beds - wonderful hot breakfast - french toast and bacon! Location adequate, but worth the trade off in price.

"not really downtown, but close enough"
near the highway, so convenient to that. downtown is only a mile or two away. no fridge in the room though, and that would be helpful.

Most importantly it was clean and safe. The continental breakfast was tasty and its a plus to receive one these days. They have a cab service and its only $3 to a business down town. Great deal!

"Chattanooga Hampton Inn a jewel"
The hotel was well staffed, clean and comfortable. The only slight against is is the location. Heading east on US 27 is a breeze. Heading west is another story. My GPS took me around the world.. no suprise given that the hotel is located on (and surrounded by ) a one way street.
The team members were polite and I got what I needed from my stay.
"Only one drawback"
We were pleased with the hotel. The location was fine for our "passing through" day trip in Chattanooga. The staff was very knowledgeable and helpful in giving directions. Rooms were nice and clean. Breakfast buffet was as expected. However, we had a corner second floor room on the interstate side of the building and could hear the freight trucks wiz […] by. I was awakened by what I thought was bad winds and storms and then realized the noise was the highway. The noise was detrimental to sleep in a very comfortable bed. "Hamptom Inn Chattanooga"
We read this hotel was confusing to find and it was. Everything else about the hotel was great. We are very picky about odors and there were no offensive odors. Everything was clean and the breakfast was great.

This hotel is just outside of downtown Chattanooga and only minutes away from all the main attractions. The hotel was clean, the staff was friendly and the continental breakfast was pretty good! Do yourself a favor - save some money and stay here!

Our stay was very pleasant. They offered ideal accomodation for a travelling family with toddlers. The king suite, with the sofa bed, served us perfectly for 2 adults and 2 toddlers. The hotel was convient place immediately off the interestate exit, well maintained, offered great customer service and affordably priced. I will always stay with Hampton […] Inn when travelling. The hotel is difficult to get to because of the one way streets. They call themselves downtown but the really aren't.

"Clean and Convenient"
Nice hotel, convenient to both downtown and Look Out Mountain. Good breakfast. In an older part of town but no worries about location. Plan on staying here if you're in town.

We needed a place to stay so that we could go to the aquarium. It was about 2 miles. It was perfect for out family.

We really enjoyed our stay..we had a suite and was what we needed with a teenager. He had his own little room.

We were very satisfied with our stay. The Hotel was convenient to the tourist attractions, clean and comfortable. The pool area was well maintained and we thoroughly enjoyed the continental breakfast
"A little isolated"
Hotel is very nicely decorated and maintained. Staff were quite friendly and helpful. The only problem was the location which was in a poorer and somewhat isolated area of town. But a short drive led us to a free shuttle bus area to downtown area.

Hotel is an older Hampton. When we arrived the power was out due to a storm. Fortunately when we returned from dinner power was restored. Staff was VERY courteous, pool and room were clean and breakfast was good every morning. Will stay again!!
"Just off the beaten path"
This hotel is not downtown per se, but the location is nice to reach many points of the city. The comfort, amenities, staff and breakfast makes this hotel a great deal.
