The breakfast was great every AM. In door pool was heated and clean.Staff helpful and friendly. Great ice cream store across the road. Down the street was Mid Way Airport. NO airplane noise.

We had no hot water except for a few hours. That was very frustrating. I thought we mightbe offered a discountbut were not. We will stay there again because the staff is very nice and helpful.

The purpose of our stay was to get away and relax. Everyone was very friendly, patient and met you with a smile. They accomodated your wishes and made you feel welcome.

My stay at the Hampton Inn was very comfortable and I thoroughly enjoyed my room, but the walls are really thin and I could hear everything from people talking and kids playing in the hallways. It got a little annoying but other than that my stay was great.

Stayed in the whirl pool suite and it was overall a clean and conformable room. The fan in the bathroom did not work and there was a light out in the main room other then that nice room.

Nice Property. 9 miles from Midway. Breakfast was good. Shopping and restaurants nearby were good. Room was comfortable. Draft coming in around the heating unit when it was not on. Overall, a good property.

Very satisfied hotel and room was very clean and well maintained. Well definitely visit this location again.

We found the bugs in our bed and they switched us to another room. Once in the other room we turned down the comforter and there was blood spots all over the underside of the comforter. A for sure sign of bed bugs. The hotel staff was very apologetic and did their best to accomodate us but we just wanted to leave.

Let me start by saying the only "bad" thing about the Hampton Inn Chicago Crestwood is it's about 9 miles from Midway Airport, which can be problematic/expensive if you need a cab to get there. There are great local and chain restaurants within walking distance, too. Plus, shopping and other restaurants are just a short drive away. Hotel staff are incredibly courteous, the room was clean and had everything we needed. When I travel to Chicago in the future I will definitely stay at Hampton Inn Chicago Crestwood again. Good quality for the value, very helpful polite staff, clean and well maintained

We chose this hotel because it has a pool but it was under maintaince, so we couldn't use it

Tub would not drain, a few other issues. I did not think this Hampton Inn was up to the standards of other Hampton Inns that I have stayed at. The supplied internet and breakfast made up for the inconvieniences of the maintenance issues.

My wife and I had a very good time while in Chicago and staying at the Hamption was very nice, the only thing that could have been better was that the heating unit would turn on and off about every 3 minutes and would keep waking us up, even though it was quiet in our room the heater would tourn on and wake us up. Don't believe your GPS! When you leave Midway Airport, follow Cicero Ave. My GPS took me all over the area before getting me to the hotel. This is a great location for getting around the southern suberbs of Chicago and going east towards Indiana. The morning breakfast was very good and plenty adequate for a free breakfast buffet.

The Hotel was a very nice hotel. It is close to shopping and restaurants. However, if you coming into the hotel northbound, I would suggest that you drive past the hotel to the light, turn left and enter the hotel from the side street.

It was so good 2 nights earlier that I booked it for 2 more nights later in the week. great breakfast and fitness area

house keeping needed to wipe down the room mirrors more often and clean the dark scatch marks from the walls near the window. Everything else was satisfactory.

I was worried about staying here since other reviewers noted that it was not in the best location. I found the location to be safe considering you are staying in Chicago and not some quiet town in the middle of nowhere. we usually stay down the street @ the doubletree but we are glad we stayed @ the hampton, liked it much better.

The comforter on the beds are far to heavy for sleeping in the summer. Why do you use these for year round blankets?

We are very impressed with the friendliness of the serving staff - front desk & breakfast.

Not a bad experience at all. The only problem is the hotel claims to be near the airport and offer a shuttle to the airport. The hotel is 20 miles from Midway and the shuttle did not run at all because there was no additional worker there to drive it.

Decent room at a decent price. Convenient to Midway and within easy driving distance of many restaurants.

What I like about Hampton is that they give you what you need and nothing you don't need. This Hampton in Crestwood, IL is no exception. I read some reviews that said there is no free internet. Not the case, there is free wired and wireless internet at good speeds. You get a good breakfast in the morning with a complimentary USA Today. This hotel is exactly what you would expect from a Hampton and it didn't disappoint me at all. I was using the National Archives regional depository near Midway. Although this was 8 or 9 miles away it was the closest to Midway that didn't come with a hefty airport hotel price tag. There are a couple of mistakes in the Hotels.com listing that should […] be corrected. The hotel does have free wireless internet in the rooms. Also, unlike some commenters, there are a number of restaurants nearby. The hotel sits at the south end of a commercial strip center that generally faces Cal Sag Road. If you just stay on Cicero you'd probably miss it. There's a Popeye's and a local Italian fast food next door on the other side of the parking lot. Beyond that there's a local Greek family style restaurant across the road a bit (I think it's Omega's or something like that). The commercial strip includes Portabello's (or something like that). It's an apparently local hot dog, hamburger and beer chain. I saw at least two or three on the south side. There's also an IHOP, Applebees and a Lone Star Steakhouse as well. Of course there are two McDonalds on Cicero between the hotel and Midway Airport. I'll stay here again on my next research trip. Lisez la suite

We had a great stay at this hotel! Our family really enjoyed the breakfast and pool, and as always the room was clean and comfortable.

I am a single mom who was traveling with my child. I wanted a place close to Midway Airport for one night, where I also felt safe. There was an indoor pool but the paint is chipping off and it wasn't very clean. It was pretty small, too. The previews were pretty helpful in trying to make my decision about where to stay. There aren't many restaurants in the immediate area- only fast food-type places (McDonald's, Popeye's, Boston Market, Subway, Jimmy Johns, etc). You need to travel closer to the airport for actual restaurants. We had to leave before 6 to get to the airport in the morning, and the staff had "breakfast to go" bags ready for those who needed it. The breakfast area was your typical continetntal breakfast items (cereal, bagels, eggs, muffins, fruit, coffee, juice, etc). I would stay there again. Lisez la suite

very friendly personel, but if you can afford it, you will probably want to have a convenient spot in the city. This would be a great spot if you have a night layover at Midway. I got in late at midway and spent one night there before going into Chicago for the next few days

The Hampton Inn did all the big things right and got the little things right, too. It was quiet at night and the bed was comfortable. The Jacuzi in the bathrooom was a nice touch.. Our air condition in our room leaked and saturated some of our clothes. Very Dissapointed! It spread out on the carpet about 8 feet wide. Everywhere we walked in the room seemed like we were getting wet. Told the front desk clerk about it and they did nothing to compinsate us. I am a Grocery store Hy-Vee employee and have to deal with customers on a […] daily basis. And if something is wrong we have to fix it right then and now. Customers come first. At this hotel it did not seem like that. Do not get me wrong things like this happen. But maintenance people should have come in to fix it, or they could have compinsated us in some way. I am very dissapointed. I gave the front desk clerk my name and address and phone number and e-mail again, and have yet to hear from anyone. Great hot breakfast, friendly staff. Not an unsafe area. I will stay here again. Good for access to Midway Airport.

Was not informed when I and my wife checked in the room would have twice beds

Our room was ok but the sound traveled through the walls quite easily. We had late night noisey neighbors and could hear almost everything said. Location near the airport was what attracted us to this hotel. Pricing for overall package seemed a little high.

Staff were very nice and helpful. The person at check in offered to tell all places nearby for sightseeing and food. Room was neat and clean. Bathroom was very clean. Neighborhood was fine. It is not too close to Midway. However it is a nice quiet place.

Staff was rude and unexperienced. Seemed mad that I used Hotels.com We had a wedding and everyroon booked for that wedding had a problem. And the shuttle service did not have a schedule, and the staff was unwilling to help get us to the wedding on time. Other wedding guests who staed there complained. Rooms were nice though.
